Install WINRAR.
Open it and access SDCARD0 or Internal Storage.
And delete some files to free up space.
Then try to access using any other applications.

[Q] Can not load map data from external storage~!

Can not load map data from external storage~! I'm using papago X5. Since I can't move the folder to root directory, I just simply installed it from download folder. But then when I want to launch the apps, It says"Can not load map data from external storage~! "
I'm going to a new place which I never been there before. So I might need to use GPS. Your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Doesn't it just need the map data to be located on the root directory of the SD Card?
Can you move it to the root of the sd card using a pc?

[Q] sdcard0 and sdcard1?

Why do the phone recognize my internal storage as sdcard0? This tends to lead to some problems when locating files in recovery.
Is there a way to make sure extraneous files, such as downloads, stay only on the sd card under sdcard?
Sometimes when placing a file on the sdcard from USB-to-PC connection, I navigated to the root folder using a file explorer, and tap sdcard, only to find it's not there. Instead of I have to home-->storage-->sdcard1.
Can anyone explain what exactly is going on in this case?? Or if anyone found a way to consolidate the folders, how can I do it??
Thank you.

The storage isn't extended, it's two separate file spaces. Your internal memory is reported as an internal SD card (sdcard0) and your SD Card is reported as an external SD (sdcard1)

If you download the Motorola USB Device Manager then in my computer your device will be recognised with internal and external storage available, all folders under these will be clearly visable and you shouldn't have any issues transferring data between the two.
Cheers
I have that manager and it works well, but I would like the folder "sdcard" in the home to link me to the sdcard1 and not sdcard0. Right now the "symlink" in root browser points there. Anyway to change that?

Insufficient storage available.

Hi,
I have an Android device. I bought it from our local cellphone shop, a Cherry Mobile phone. name of the unit is Jelly. Its Android Version used was 4.2.2. I have 165mb of internal storage(17.88mb available) and 14.87GB(13.28GB available) of SD card. I've rooted it using FramaRoot. I'm getting this error when I download or install an application using Playstore and APK installer.
"Error downloading. Insufficient storage available".
I tried clearing the cache. I've put it's Preffered install location to "SD card". Default Write Disk to "SD card" . But nothing worked! I really need help!
I cant download anything! I tried to download Link2SD(a 3mb file) to fix but nothing! I've tried installing Lucky Patcher apk. but it said "Insufficient ....................." .. How do I fix this?
I also noticed this when I was running out of storage, even though there was enough space for apps.
Try deleting some more data in your internal storage, not the SD card, and it should work again.
Basically, if u download an apps from the Play Store, the apps will be stored first in the internal storage. After that it will automatically moved to SD Card if u have root and set ur device.
Does the app which u want to download larger than the available internal storage?
If that so, u should free some memory in ur device.
Otherwise, u could try to enlarge the internal storage of ur device, try to find it in other part of this forum corresponding to your device.
17MB internal is the problem. It can't download an app directly to the SD, it has to pass through the internal memory first.
Clear some space on the internal memory.
Also, try dialing *#9900# and clicking on 'delete dumpstate/logcat'. Might give you a few more MB's.

I can't write on SD

I'm using a Samsung 64GB SD. I can write from "My Files", Camera, File Ex, Root Explorer,...
But there are another apps that need to write and they canĀ“t. For example, I use FolderSync to have the same files on tablet, PC and smartphone. Software can read and upload, but it can't writr when download any kind of file. And I have the same problem with other apps that need to write, work fine on internal memory, fail on external memory.
I have formated SD from S8+. I disabled Developer Options.
Can anybody help me?
Best regards

Any way to access internal storage after adding SD card?

I have added an SD card for a friend's G7 Power, however, now when I plug it into the computer and select file transfer, it only shows the SD card and he has some photos in the internal storage that we can't get it out of the phone (they are sitll visible on the Photo app). I found an older thread with similar issue on a Moto G4. The answer at the time was this is an known issue and there's no fix yet. Is this fixed on the G7 Power? Thanks.
I don't have this phone but a way I would try is opening up the gallery app and then looking at the photos details and see if it gives a location
I would then connect phone to PC and do an adb pull of the file/folder
Eg adb pull location of file
Google adb guldes if you have never used adb before & you need to download the adb files
You can also try using total commander file browser and going to the file system root directory and then selecting storage folder
It will then list the available storage folders but if sd card is mounted as Internal storage it might combine the internal storage and sd card into one virtual directory

I tried opening the photos in the Google Photo app, it doesn't show the files' location. I'll try it with the the OnePlus gallery app next time he brings over the phone.
As for using total commander, does it work if his phone is not rooted? With ES Files explorer I can only see the SD card folders.

Most photo apps should tell you the photo location on the device in its details or more information section if you long press the image
You don't need root access to access the root directory
You can probably do it with es file explorer too but I don't use it
You just need to keep going up a level until you reach the root location - with total commander there's a folder on the main menu for root directory
You only need root to access the data partition or to modify files in the root or system partition
All you need is access the storage folder which will then list all available drives be that physical or virtual
