After an accident i had to replace my screen... not ordering it directly from OP, i ended up replacing 3 screens... finally got the original screen but now i've noticed that the camera, on normal settings, with multiple apps, seems to be highly overexposed... Any ideas?

Hi guys, I'll try to describe this problem as best I can. I've tried to take a video of this but it doesn't quite work.
Basically about 80% of the screen occasionally starts flickering. It could be a screen refresh issue or a backlight issue or something physically wrong with the screen. The top 20% is absolutely fine!
I've tried flashing different ROMs, Kernels, Radios, used different governors, set force GPU render and set Disable HW overlays.
None of these things work, whilst some appear to fix the problem its over ever temporary. Sometimes increasing the brightness fixes it but not every time.
The flicker has a slight yellowish colour to it too.
I've disassembled the phone and checked the screen connector ribbon etc and all seemed fine.
Has anyone heard or experienced this themselves? Please help!!!
My last option is to do a factory reset and start all over again. Or buy a new screen for £35...
Thanks
Can no one help meh???
I've searched but can't find my problem anywhere so I'm hoping someone can help.
The phone was my daughters and had a cracked screen, the phone still functioned and had no other faults.
I've fitted a complete shell including screen and everything was fine for a couple of days then the problem started. When I have a brightly coloured background the titles under the screen icons distorts, the brighter colour the more the screen distorts and shimmers. If I change to a dark coloured or B&W background everything stabilises again. It might be a coincidence but about the same time as the fault started the phone did and update to 5.0.2 from 4.x.x. The rest of the phone works ok unless a bright colourful image is on screen. I've tried all the obvious suggested tests, reducing brightness etc but nothing makes a difference. Any help is much appreciated.
I've tried to attach a photo but it crashes safari on my iPad.
When looking at the HTC wallpapers the problem is worse if I scroll down the choices it is worse on the centre and right images which I think are rain and grass, 2nd row from last/bottom, the dandelion is ok though. Would this be the screen itself, software or hardware?
I really like this phone but will probably have to go back to using my old iPhone if this is android.
Hi,
our Pixel 1 has some strange behaviour.
The display is not reacting properly.
Additionally, the display makes actions by itself.
Scrolling down the toolbar, opens apps etc.
It is not possible to use it.
I already restartet it and thr reset is not a long time ago. Display protector is also removed.
I tried to make a short video.

Now it started to flicker, changed the color and it just switched on sometimes... :/
Aaaand....it's dead...
Hi,
just got my new Z fold 2 today and used smart switch to copy all the data from my old galaxy S10 to the new one.
I noticed that while the inner screen layout matches my old phone (same folders and apps position), the outer screen didn't changed.
Anyway to match the 2 screens without the need to re-organize all from scratch?
Thanks!
Leo
Experienced the same thing which was very strange for me why Samsung did this. I had another problem as well, on the outer screen I had Korean time and all in Korean, but inside Smart Switch copied everything from my "old" Note 20 correctly. I did factory reset the phone and copied everything again and it corrected the Korean settings but still didn't copy anything to cover screen. I have ended up setting everything on the cover screen by hand again. I didn't find anything in the settings to copy both screens same.
The inner and outer screens are treated as two separate home screens, almost as if you have two phones.
This is by design so that you can have different layouts for when you're using the smaller display on the outside or the main display on the inside.
Different screens for different tasks, therefore different shortcuts and widgets might be needed.
There is no way to simply copy one layout from one screen to the other, you would have to do it manually but obviously the max number of icons both width and height is different on each screen so you wouldn't be able to match them completely anyway.
I don't know if it's been like this the entire time I've owned the Z Fold 2, but I noticed my screen shifts all the way to the left or right to avoid the hole punch. When I go the full screen apps and try turning off the "hide hole punch" under advanced options, it's already turned off. Switching it on and off again doesn't do anything. The only thing I've done recently was enable Developer Options so I could change the screen width. Can someone please let me know how I can get my apps to fully stretch across the screen and not hide the hole punch?
I have the same issue. There are various options that should fix this, but don't.
* In settings, display, full screen apps, turn on the apps you want to use the full display.
* In the task changer, long press the icon for your app, choose change aspect ratio.
* In good lock, multistar, I <3 Galaxy Foldable, set aspect ratio for each app, set your apps to full screen.
You should try these, one (or multiple) of these options should fix it, but haven't for me.
Only some apps won't go full screen in landscape, but among those are chrome, outlook, kindle, whatsapp. Basically all my most used apps. Other apps use the full screen.
If someone has a working solution, I'd love to hear it.
Thanks! I've tried those options you suggested, however they did not work for me. I feel like I was getting the full screen in the app prior to today, but maybe I'm imagining it. I don't like the way the screen shifts everything over to hide the punch hole. I feel like I may as well kept my Fold 1 with the huge notch because I'm still losing all that space.
So am the only one noticing that all apps are now shifted away from the hole in landscape? The advanced setting to hide the hole is already off and when I turn it on and back off, I can see the screen moving back but then it goes back to hiding the hole even when turned off. Rebooting my phone doesn't fix it.
