Hi, I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find the solution to my specific problem.
I've just wiped my phone and installed superman ROM 1.19 I believe and everything works great so far but I can't get my MMS to work. I'm using XAC Telus CSC. I have updated the APN settings. I've tried default app, Facebook Messenger app and textra. I've tried all available options but I still can't send or receive MMS. Any ideas?
Thanks for the help!

Hello and Welcome to XDA-developers!
The best place to ask support for a custom ROM is to contact that ROM developer or put your issue on Superman ROM thread
Hi,
Thanks for the reply! I had a feeling this was not ROM specific. After messing around, I finally solved it last night.
Solution for me: Create new APN with exact same fields and delete old one. Somehow that worked!

Hello xda-developers and thank you for reading this. I bought a new Nexus 5 today and flashed it with the original Google Lollipop ROM realeased some days ago. Everything runs fine so far but I can't get the service working. I've searched old threads to the best of my ability but couldn't find a solution, I hope you can. As said in the title I'm going with Vodafone Germany. Attached are some screenshots that hopefully give you all the information you need.
Thanks in advance!

No problem here with Vodafone Germany on my Nexus 5 running Android 5.0. Maybe your Sim Card is defect? Do you have another phone to test the Sim.
I tested the sim today on another phone, it works fine. I am currently testing different modems... I was hoping to avoid unlocking my brand new phone for a while but hey

Shouldn't be necessary to install another modem. Maybe it is a hardware defect? Do you have another Sim to test the Sim tray? Was it working on 4.4 before you flashed Lollipop?

I didn't test it before I installed Lollipop. It could be a Hardware defect (But I'd find that odd, I ordered it online and it runs perfect aside from the cell signal) I will return it if I get fed up with the issue, but that would mean no phone for another 3-4 days
Why do you think a different modem won't make a difference? A different SIM card did get a signal in Nexus when I asked for help in a vodafone shop I was if I recall correctly. But my SIM card also worked in another phone
Edit: I tested another SIM card just now, it showed service for a while with an exclamation mark (see attachment) but then went back to 0 bars
Edit 2: Also not working on Android 4.4.4

I'm not a developer, have you tried changing the preferred network type to wcdma only or gsm only in the phone testing menu?

I already tried the LPX13D Modem (from the list of different modems for the Nexus 5 by autoprime on xdadev, can't link to it because I have less than 10 posts...). Is the one you linked any different?

Hi Guys,
Before you ask I have googled for over 2 hours looking for anything that is close to my issue but I cannot find anything relating to the OnePlus One on this issue.
I am using International Version 3 of the OnePlus One.
I found the issue posted up on google code here.
https://code.google.com/p/android-developer-preview/issues/detail?id=400
Essientially I do not have an option to select LTE/WCDMA Auto or only within this menu.
My carrier roams when it goes down to 2G and it is highly irritating when it does this, as a result I really need this option.
Other OnePlus owners seem to have it and I don't know why I don't.
I am currently running C7 Modem version on the latest version of the Resurrection Remix Rom.
I have seen the guide regarding Unlocking additional basebands for the Chinese Version also but I don't know if that will fix my problem either.
Any help would be great, Thanks.

The options in the service menu change per installed rom. Change your rom to find different options in the service menu.
OK well that's something at least thanks
Hi guys,
I have been searching for a ROM that has additional options in the Phone Info menu and have yet to find one.
Can anyone recommend a rom that has these options?
I don't have that option too. CM 13 sultan

I tried it and it doesn't.
Is this contingent on something else other than the rom?
Afternoon guys,
Before anyone says anything, I have googled this but found nothing, so this is my last resort.
I bought an S6 from japan, on the DoCoMo network. Running android 5.0.2. Model number: SC-05G.
It is unlocked (from a phone shop, unlock codes don't work) and I have rooted it with TWRP recovery.
This comes preloaded with Japanese bloatware that I really want to get rid of. I've checked some cyanogen and other roms but the build number is not supported. I wouldn't even mind english stock firmware.
My question is this, are there any roms that I can use on the SC-05G?
Yay or nay?
Thanks a bunch.
Kev
send me email pls, I have a room cook for your Sc-05g.

Hello all,
I've completed my search on the forum for a similar issue but have been unable to find it hence this new thread.
Late March i've installed the latest update and since then tethering does no longer work. Let be try to be a bit more specific.
When i switch on the Mobile hotspot, it is recognized by other devices, it even allows these devices to connect however,
on none of these devices internet access is possible eventhough the host has internet access via 4G+.
I've spoken with Vodafone about it and they've told me there's no restriction on tethering as it prohibited by european law. After that
i contacted Samsung, who connected to my phone, cleared cache and some other things. Result, still no solution.
Third, went to a samsung service point where they've investigated and were unable to assist, even after a factory reset it was still not working.
Fourth, done the settings put global tether_dun_required 0 myself, also no success.
Fifth, installed a tethering app, no success either.
I therefore turn to you experts, is anyone able to give me some guidance on what to do next and or what a possible issue could be ?
Added images which show the version .
Many thanks in advance
Peter

Welcome to XDA! The next thing I'd try is reinstalling the ROM using Odin. You can download the ROM from www.sammobile.com/firmwares.
BTW, questions would go here. Don't worry about this one--the mods will move it shortly.
Cheers!
Thank you
Thank you for your response and apologies for posting the wrong section.
Ok, so i have to go to sam mobile for the rom. Next question would be, which one ?
My phone is bought in the UK and i'm in the Netherlands with a dutch carrier, Vodafone NL.
the csc is: G920FBTU3DPB1
CP: G920FXXS3DPB3
AP: G920FXXS3DPB2
I'm a droid noob so sorry for these silly questions
cheers

Search on the CSC. You're looking for the UK ROM it's currently running.
Brings me back to my initial question, I'm unable to use tethering which i'm really dependent on in my work.
Are you suggesting a reinstall of the rom ? or should i go ahead with a rom specifically for the netherlands.
p.s. My colleague, same phone, has the same issue.
cheers !

I wouldn't think that tethering is dependent upon region after an upgrade. I'd flash the ROM for the phone's region first. If that didn't work, then I'd consider a CSC change and flash a ROM for the Netherlands.
This morning a new update was available which I installed successfully. Tethering is now working again
thank you for your help!
Peter
If have the same issue (also NL Vodafone). Since I upgraded to MM tethering is not working, connects without any problem but there is no data transfer. I'm currently running a custom ROM and don't want to change to stock. I updated my modem and bootloader several times. Can anyone pinpoint what exactly is the problem?
I'm in Australia on Telstra network. Apparently I have the Taiwan Brazil version which has matching bands to what I need here. Everything works great except mobile data hotspot and USB tethering. Asus can't help me as apparently the phone is not released here in AU. Data works fine on the phone but won't share. The PC says there's a DNS issue. It connects to the hotspot but says no internet connection. I hope someone here has some ideas. Great device otherwise. Thank you in advance.
I have same problem with my ZS570KL on Telstra Network. Haven't found solution yet. . Never tried it before Nougat update so unsure if it worked then,.
Found a solution which works.
I cant post link here so google this and use those settings

thanks. Even if I'm on Android 6.0.1? Use the nougat settings?
That webpage actually has settingd for most phones, inc Zenfone 3 . I just checked and Zenfone telstra settings seem to be same as I used from generic android page.
Why haven't you upgraded to Nougat? (It fixed a bluetooth problem I had)?

I'm on Taiwan/Brazil model. I don't have the update yet. I do have all Telstra 4G bands including 700mhz though which is good. Great reception apart from the data sharing issue.
Awesome
