For some reason unknown, the ability to view notifications on your lock screen is disabled or non-existent when using the lock screen layout of another theme. I'm not a fan of the clock being in the bottom left corner but instead, I'd like it centre stage like the IOS layout.
Can someone help me understand why this is the case?

How does one remove that ugly ass circle clock from the lock screen? I guess I dotn care about the clock part but the circle part just doesn't flow with the rest of the stuff on the lockscreen.
OK. The honest part is my ocd hates that thing and I bothers the crap out of me every time I see it.
Enable widgets on the lock screen in Lock Screen settings. Lock the phone and unlock it. You'll then get the option to add a widget. Add the clock widget or any other preferred widget.
Try this

Click to collapse
On the lock screen, long press the circle clock and drag it to the top to remove. Then click the plus sign on the screen to add the widget of your choice. Hope this helps.
Hello,
I would like to know if there is any super minimalistic and customizable pattern lockscreen replacement for my Galaxy S4. I would only like to keep the transparent notification bar which shows me time and battery. The stock one is pretty fine, but I would like to remove the big clock, operator text and the pattern dots on the screen so that they maybe should appear when I touch the screen or something like that. Is there any app where I could do something like this? I really only want the lockscreen background picture, notification bar and pattern lock appear when I touch the screen or maybe just a hidden pattern lock.
tl:dr: minimalistic, customizable lockscreen where I can remove everything from lockscreen.
Hi everyone,
browsing through some theme previews, it appeared to me that there are different types of lock screens in the various EMUI themes. Which would only make sense considering that by default, you can choose between a "standard" lock screen and the "magazine" lock screen.
If that's the case, I'm wondering if someone can recommend a theme with a lock screen that has the clock at the bottom, not at the top of the screen, just like the magazine lock, but without the changing pictures. I'd like to use a custom background picture on my lock screen, but when doing so with magazine lock activated, the background picture becomes so dark it's almost impossible to see. This doesn't happen with the standard lock screen, but the clock at the top obscures a part of the image that I'd like to see when unlocking my phone.
Thanks for your help!
I'm looking for a screen Lock app that can display the clock at the bottom of the screen.
FWIW I downloaded Lock Screen Clock Mod from Xposed. It works well but whenever there's a new notification it moves the clock as well. So ideally, a lock screen app that also allows me to manage notification behavior would be good
I tried acDisplay but couldn't change the clock location, nor did it have any security features.
Oh...and I'm on Marshmallow. OnePlus X, stock ROM. Rooted.
Both of these things happened on the Android 10 update. Randomly ongoing notifications will take up basically the whole shade with blank information. Requires me force closing the app for them to go away.
The 2nd issue is that hitting the bottom of the space bar (actually the whole bottom row) does not work anymore when I have navigation gestures on. It detects the input, as noted in the attached gif, but the keyboard just does not register it.
Yes that's an annoying change or bug that there's an invisible space at the bottom where input isn't registered.
If you are using the Android 10/Google implementation of navigation gestures there's a magisk module called "Immersive Gestural Navigation Bar (Q)" that's supposed to get rid of this bar.
Sadly this doesn't work for the Asus implementation as this one has the same problem since Android 10, which it didn't have on Android Pie.
You can observe this black bar by starting Super Mario Run e.g.
It's also very noticable even though it's not visible in the Youtube app in landscape mode when you want to click the 3 dot menu button.
