Yes you need a TA backup to have it working. It's that I suspected, we can mount the ta.img during boot but wasn't able to confirm because I unlocked my bootloader before the release of the Dirtycow exploit.

Hello again D:<
Another question (u_u. I've never had a Xperia smartphone before, so :c).
I don't know about how install the Generic Xperia M2 4.4.2 Firmware, well, I know something, like use Flashtool for mount the FTF file into the phone. But, about the TA Backup?.
I'm kinda unpredictable, so, summarizing everything... Could you please give a tutorial about those steps that I must follow to install the 4.4.2 Generic Firmware for Xperia D2306?
Thanks for everything.
Regards!

Thanks, so, I suppose will work fine the TA Backup from that link. I'll check it.
But, my Info Service from Bootloader allow or not says this: "Bootloader unlock allowed: No", so basing on that assumption, I don't think that Bootloader can be unlocked. So, I have the question about is it extremely necessary has the bootloader unlocked for flash the 4.4.2 Generic KitKat D2306 Model with Flashtool :c.
Thanks
You can flash ftf with locked bootloader.

But be careful, they only did kernel to D2303/D2305.

But, the kernel is only used for people who use ClockWorkMod Recovery for install ROM or Root with Unlocked Bootloader. I don't try to install ROM (CyanogenMod, that is based on D2303 model), neither Root with Unlocked Bootloader ('Cause I can't unlock bootloader). I'm gonna use Flashtool, and other comments says nothing about Kernel and ClockWorkMod Recovery.
Thanks either way :3.

You cannot
Either downgrade to a firmware that is rootable via giefroot or unlock the bootloader and root. Please be advised that rooting via unlocking the bootloader first loses you the DRM keys.
The 'best' way to root is via downgrading. If you then plan to unlock the boot you can backup the TA partition to save your DRM keys.

Is there any easier way and less risky ?
Just install a app and get rooted by one click?
When do you think we could see such a app???

No way to do it other than this.
It is not hard.
I have a Z5 E6633. I've read that I should back up my TA partition before I unlock the boot-loader. The Backup-Ta programme says that it needs root. To get root I need to unlock the boot-loader. If I've unlocked the boot-loader it's too late to backup the TA partition isn't it? Or am I missing something here?
Can somebody clarify this?
Thank you.

the current tool used to backup your TA uses Tempoary Root to backup the TA partition, this means you need to downgrade to a very old firmware for this work, after backing up your TA you can then upgrade back to marshmallow.
Thank you for your reply. What tools are there to backup the TA partition?
Look at this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z5/general/guide-how-to-backup-drm-unlock-rootfor-t3373312
I'd suggest this one
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3354307
The tool i mentioned was called ivoryroot

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately I think I've messed-up. When I got my Z5 E6633 I unlocked the boot-loader with Flashtool without backing-up the TA partition. I've tried to relock the boot-loader without success. I've tried the options you've posted here to go back to stock lollipop and use ivoroot to back-up the TA and restore. It hasn't worked. Is there any way to get the locked boot-loader back?
Thank you.

There is no point for you to downgrade now as you have unlocked the boot-loader before TA backup!
Your device keys are lost forever...
you can now try this method to at least get some of DRM related features like x-reality back!

Thanks Daniel_GB. As you can see I unlocked the boot-loader without backing-up the TA partition before I got your warning in my other thread. Thanks for your patience. Live and learn
