Hi there,
I'm new to this forum and have a problem getting my phone notifications to my watch.
I have updated my phone from Android 4.4.2 to 5.1 (I thinks it was a beta, because i signed up for it) and resetted my phone and watch
I can connect my watch to the Android Wear app trough Bluetooth and calls come through but no notifications (like Whatsapp, email, Google Now etc.)
When I open Android Wear I see the message: Android Wear needs access to your notifications, so your phone can send updates to your watch.
I tap on turn on watch notifications and I I'm send to the setting access to notifications. I tap on Android Wear but nothing happens, it stays greyed out.
What can I do to turn on the notifications?
What I already did:
Under privacy & security
Notification manager: Android Wear: Notifications Allowed and priority
Protected apps: Android Wear is protected so the app stays active when the screen is turned off
Under Security:
Advanced: Apps with use access: Google Play-services and ProjectMenuAct
Resetted both devices multiple times
I don't know what else I can do, so I can use my watch again, so any help is greatly appreciated.
Model number: HUAWEI MT7L-09
Build number: MT7-L09V100R001C900B308
Android version: 5.1
Baseband version: 21.030.00.00.030
Kernel version: 3.10.74-g5ebb630 [email protected] #2 Sat May 30 13:19:32 CST 2015
Anyone has a solution to this problem?
Whenever I ask Huawei I get no response...
Thanks
Try this app

Tried it but does not work. I get all the notifications on my phone but not my watch because I cannot turn this setting in android wear
Any other advice?
Gonna try contacting Google and see if they have a solution for this issue

If you installed Lolipop 5.1 (B308) you can not activate the notification access for Android Wear on your Mate 7. Therefore no notifications are shown on your watch. You need to install the Beta B312 (link somewhere in the threat about Lolipop with Screenshots). In that version you can activate the notification access.
To install the B312 you first need to roll back to Kitkat using the rollback package (link also in the threat mentioned above). I tried the betas but decided to stay on Kitkat until the official Lolipop is published.

I have a seemingly stupid but still annoying problem. As many of you know Android 8 + EMUI 8 came out this summer and I have updated my Honor8. Everything works well, even better (especially with regard to the battery) apart from a problem, quite annoying. I have seen that everyone around complains about the same problem, so it is clear that both a build bug and not a local problem.
Basically ... the bluetooth link with the multimedia system of my car doesn't work as it should, while it worked well with the 7.0.
Tracknames, music infos disappears, sometimes it connects regularly, starting the music, sometimes nothing happens, sometimes the music passes from the car speakers to smartphone (!!)... in short, manage the music in the car It has become a big problem!
I tried all possible options; reset pairing, reset bluetooth, clear cache, activate the developer options to control some low-level aspects of bluetooth, and finally installed Bluetooth Auto Connect which also has several advanced options. Nothing works. In the meantime an update of 8.0 has been released (mine is the buiold 521). The update came out in September ... maybe (MAYBE) this update fixes all bluetooth issues (but i don't have any detailed info about). Until today I have not received any updates and normally I check new version regularly every day. At this point I decided to return to Nougat!
And here the adventure begins!
I CANNOT IN ANY WAY do the downgrade.
What I tried:
- through HiSuite. The "back to previous version" option appears random (rarely); normally the program tells me "the system is up to date". Once appeared I tried to run the procedure, but after the decompression it gives me an error "error updating".
- by standard Rollback procedure. Using a microSD and putting the full version of Nougate in the dload folder. The installation starts but stops almost immediately with the same "update cannot be applied" error.
At this point I am desperate. I cannot update Oreo, I can't go back to Nougat and meanwhile the bluetooth still doesn't work with my car. Remember that before Oreo, everything worked very well!
What can I do? Can you help me?
Thank you

Region: EU
Model: FRD-L09
Build: 8.0.0.521 (C432)
Previous Build: don't remember. It was Nougat, and I've upgraded around the first week of September. From that day I haven't received/applied any patch, because nothing appears until now.
This morning I've tried again with HiSuite. As usual it says I'm running the latest version and it doesn't offer any downgrade option .

Finally I've decide to try updating to 8.0.0.562. After a month of tries, fails (damn Huawei and his stupid update system), errors and a lot of other stupid things, I was finally able to update my Honor hoping the latest version will fix all the problems. It was a enormous waste of time (searching around internet)... but in the end I found a method described here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p20-pro/help/p20-pro-bricked-t3868085#4And if you go ahead you should find the correct firmware link (on a Russian site). Although, IMHO, failing with the classic method was due to the impossibility or some bugs in the update system, to unpack the update files on sdcard. So the solution seems to be to leave both the zip and the unpacked folder. The problems with bluetooth remain, but I hope that now there is not to be crazy applying next updates. ATTENTION: the method above is NOT valid for rollback! If you try, you'll brick your Honor.
And finally I've taken an important decision... for me this is the last Huawei/honor device. Next time I'll go to another brand, with a serious update system.

Hi All,
I am struggling to force update my Huawai mate 8.
Current running on version NXT-DL00 8.0.0.839(C17)
I am unable to use WIFI update as my WIFI has not worked for a long time to perform hard reset/recovery.
I do not have USB Debugging enabled and at present I am unable to enable this as my digitizer also does not want to work.
The EMUI gets to around 5% and then I receive the error
Software Install Failed
and refers me to the below link which is of no use.
https://consumer.huawei.com/cn/emui/?mod=restore
I have tried a number of firmware downloads and nothing gets any further.
The reason I am trying to update is to hopefully get my digitizer working again, I have already fitted a new one and this did not fix it so I do not believe it is a hardware issue.
Any suggestions at all would be appreciated.
This is a really good phone and I do not want to just chuck it in the bin, I have purchased a Mate 20 Lite as the replacement but would prefer to get my old one working again and use it as I miss it
Many thanks in advance for your support.
Hi, I have a problem with the phone, I installed Android 6.0 Emui 4.0.1 version H60-L12C00B860 but I need to do downgrade to Android 5.1. for rooting phone by Kingroot. I found only a file name H60-L02-L12_EMUI4.0_2_EMUI3.1.zip (283 MB) but I do not have Emui 4.0.2 ,I have 4.0.1. Will this file work correctly? And if not, what's easier to find: upgrading Emui to 4.0.2 or older downgrader for Emui 4.0.1. Please help. Sorry for my bad english.
//I found the right file, but there was a bigger problem: I do not have "local update" in the Emui update options - i can only update online. How can I restore/add this option?
No one wanted help from me? Ok, I did it differently, now I have android 5 + phone with root. There is one other problem, I can not change the default location of the phone: there is China, I want western Europe, because I can not use google play. I found a topic for honor 6+ https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6/general/honor-6-vendor-country-eu-t3498920 and that's probably the way it can be done. The question is where to get the eu.zip file for honor 6? Maybe someone has it and would explain to me the procedure step by step (if it is different)?
Hi Yellow_
QQ: how did you manage to downgrade to 5?
Explanation:
I've a H60-L12 with Android 6.0 and EMUI 4.0.1 and although everything [else] seems to work just fine, I can't seem to get Google Contacts to sync. The option slider in Contacts Settings is grayed out and unresponsive. Unfortunately, without my contacts this phone is all but useless. Hence, I've tried to go back to a previous version, but a simple restore [in TWRP] of my old backup fails after the upgrade. None of the instructions for rolling back were of any help, either.
I'd really appreciate if you could pass along your steps on how you downgraded your Honor 6 to Android 5. Thanks!
