Hi,
My requirement is for a timer app that lets me do the following:
1. Set and label multiple timers.
2. Each timer must have the ability to sound an alarm and pause at multiple points during the countdown.
E.g. I want to set a timer for 2 hours. I would like to be able to set various points during that countdown, e.g 30m in, 60m in, 75m in at which point the alarm would sound and the 'parent' timer would pause. E.g.
I set a countdown for 2 hours. I specify that 30m in to this countdown I want it to pause.
I start the timer, at 2 hours to go. After 30m an alarm sounds and the countdown stops at 1.5 hours to go. I set another alarm to go off after 25m. I unpause the timer and at the 65m point it again pauses and sounds an alarm.
Does anyone know of such an app?

Is there a program that could sound an alarm from time to time in a switching pattern?
Something like 3 minutes and then sound the alarm, than 1 minute and sound the alarm again, than 3 minutes and sound the alarm again, 1 minute... you got the picture.
I'm searching for a Boxing Round Timer ( I actually used the Search tool but the only relevant thread had no replies).
I don't know if this is exactly what you want, but take a look at G-Alarm.-
i think G-Watch can be used for that but i'm not sure
I couldn't find anything that works this way.
The target audience are gamers or any other activity that require memorizing passing time, like 30 seconds from now, HANDS FREE.
With the app, the user would activate a pre-configured timer with his voice. it would start counting, and when hitting the timer set, the alarm will trigger - giving a beep and a white flash (ie, after the 30 seconds).
for example, playing a game, the user would say "thirty": the app would recognize it as a known command and starts counting, after 30 seconds the device alarms (beeps and flashes).
Requirements:
voice recognition: when activated, the device needs to be listening all the time, as the user can say commands which will start new timers
FAST voice recognition: the simplest approach would be the user to record his own voice for each timer he wants. so the app can compare the commands fast and start doing its thing as fast as possible.
different timers configuration: lets say I want to configure the following timers: 20seconds, 30 seconds, 60seconds and 5 minutes. These would have specific voice commands to activate them.
Monetization:
* the free version can be limited on number of timers and simultaneous timers running.
* configurable timer limit alarm: different sounds and colored flashes per timer
* more precision: configure thresholds for the timers: considering there is delay between giving the command and the app starting the timer, advanced users would want to configure a XXXX millisecond threshold to subtract to the configured timer, so it starts from 29.5 seconds instead of 30 seconds, for example.
There are other features that would be nice to have, i know which.
I think this would be helpful for many people - hands-free timers and the paid version even more so, allowing more simultaneous timers, different beeps and color flashes for timers...
any1 willing to try and do it?

Very odd. When I use a timer in the clock app I do not get the alert sound when the timer is up all the time.
If I leave the screen on and the timer app opened I get the alert sound.
However if the phone is locked, or the timer app is minimized I do not get the alert sound. As soon as I open it back up the alarm sound fires.
This happens with the stock clock app and the google clock. They are not being put to sleep, the timer runs fine. Just no sound when minimized.
