You need to choose the firmware for your model number and your region/country/carrier. There may be different android versions for your model and region such as KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow, etc.. Just choose which one you want, the newer the better.

Update for SM-P905 (baseband no: P905XXUANA7 build no: P905XXUANC3) ?

Hi guys,
Am I mistaken or is this the last samsung note pro in the known universe to receive an update to lollipop? I understand it's been a long wait for all note pro users. Does anyone here have an idea when this particular model SM-P905 (baseband no: P905XXUANA7 build no: P905XXUANC3) will receive an update?

why wouldn't you use odin ?!

Unless I've missed something, the firmware for my specific model isn't available from sammobile, so I can't use odin to update.

I guess you don't have to flash a specific firmware since you have the international 905 model !!
Mine was from italy and i flashed UAE firmware without problems !!

Oh. I feel so newb (And I'm a tech guy...awkward....lol). Mine is running stock kitkat (4.4.2). I rooted it a while back, but so far, have not flashed it with any rom. Correct me if I'm wrong - international version means that all the LTE/radio bands are unlocked? I can't flash it with Deodex.Root.Xposed, as I'm not running stock lollipop. Which rom did u flash yours with?
Chris
You should be able to use Odin to flash any of the released 905 version lollipop updates from sammonbile. You will lose your root however.

Thanks for the link, however, I live in Australia, so according to sammobile, there's no lollipop firmware for this country:

Since your going to flash it yourself just choose any region (pick one thats on 5.1.1) and flash that. Then just change the language and time zone settings during set up and you should be good to go. Many US customers with the 905 used this method when other countries were getting the original 5.0.1 update before them. Worked fine.

Thanks for the info. Cool. I'll keep an eye out for 5.1.1. If I'm not mistaken, most are 5.0.2 at the moment, except AT&T.

Hello, this is S7 edge forum, the one you are asking about is s7 , here is the link to your forum https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7
Btw, you should be able to install playstore manually without any problem or reflash latest chinese open market firmware using updato or sammobile, then again try installing playstore manually, as for as language problem, i will give you screenshots and tap the choices accordingly to choose or add language.

Hello shah
Thanks for your response and heads up.
My problem is not general language setting, that is already set to English US. All I have well most is Chinese stuff and words on the folders in the menu like WeChat, Alipay, Baidu Map, Weibo.
I have tried installing FB, whatsapp etc.....but with no luck.
I followed some direction to flash using Odin but I got a message Re-Partition operation failed.
Can you help me further please?

Thats a snapdragon variant for chinese open market, you should manually download and install play store, you can also manually install whatsapp and fb, if they dont install correctly you should factory reset and then try again. Keep in mind that you should only flash the corresponding firmware for your model, can you tell me which firmware you tried flashing that gave error? Also tell me which android version you were before flashing and did you choose HOME CSC or Normal CSC in csc tab of odin?

You are using latest firmware already, may be try reflashing your firmware with the latest odin , it should flash correctly, if it gives error again, do emergency software recovery in smartswitch. Also that chinese language should not show in any app when you select english as default phone language. Other than the app itself changing its language to chinese, then you need to change language in that app settings.

I just tried Odin 3.12.10 got the same error.

But my pda isn’t on there
Any G930F firmware will work, it doesn't have to be the same PDA. Ideally you'd just filter to your region and carrier, and pick the newest version of your preferred Android version.

Download the firmware respective to your carrier. Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, whatever it is.

In sammobile you can find us version with no carrier but you have to flash it with a custom compilation firmware so you can change the csc to us(because the csc does not change automatically flashing another region or carrier firmware) if you don't change the csc you can not get OTA updates

Stock rom needed!!

Can someone please provide me with 4 file stock firmware for Samsung Galaxy J7(2016) model? Requirements-
Android version- 8.1.0
Baseband version- J710FXXU6CSK2
Binary- U6 ( as visible in baseband)
Type of firmware- 4 file or full file
Another question:
If 4 file stock rom is available (android 8.1.0) for another regions of this model, then why it is not available for India(INS) Region?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

That particular ROM does not exist, as the India one only goes up to Android 7. The only way to get 8.1.0 would be to flash a different CSC.
Can we convert it to indian csc therafter?
