It really seems that the Android 5.0 (key lime pie) will have this UI (cards, and light holo), because a lot of their apps are updated to follow this new and fresh UI, like google keep, playstore, gmail, google NOW. It is a nice look to be applied

in /system/lib/. but i dont know all the files that are needed. anyone else with cm having this issue? it might be as easy as a flashing the right gapps to fix it.

Meh don't care really, going on Android lollipop as soon as it comes out

Thx. I tried it. It works guys. Thx to the unknown man or woman who made this apk.. Remember to uninstall the current messenger app first then you install this messenger.
or just install the messenger app and freeze it... does the same thing.. but safer i think.. maybe... well it worked for me...
But in my opinion, the play store messenger takes larger space than this messenger. So uninstalling the default messenger app will give some extra space. Plus, I don't really use the messenger because I use WhatsApp.

I hope you can help me. I have updated ODIN with a ROM from Trinidad and Tobago. All good in operation so far.
The downside is that it has come with some preinstalled applications. As for example WhatsApp, and the worst thing is that it can not be uninstalled. Just deactivate. But I want to change it for a mod.
I am from Peru. In case you know any other clean ROMs, they will let me know please.

Just download Titanium Backup and simply back it up and Uninstall it. The WhatsApp app does not intervene with the System UI or have a link so getting rid of it would be fine.
Also, most ROMS will not clean out these type of apps though as the ROMS developers wo n't see this as Bloatware as it is commonly used app.
Go into Play Store. Then search for WhatsApp as if you were going to install it. When you find it, select it. You will see an option to uninstall.

I have the same. I pick up the img from a post directly . I didn't test it and i didn't see that we don't have this apps (i don't know why).
But I have the solution (I haven't tried it either XD) you can install the app to have that option.

Thanks again. Not sure it'll work if Device Health Services is not a system app. I don't think it'll have the right privileges. I'll try though.
