Hello,
is there a way to customize alarm sound volume for specific alarm? I don't want to do it for all alarms at the same time.
Change to using the Google clock app

Google Clock doesn't have this feature either
BTW these instructions mention volume control for individual alarms but it's obviously different settings than on my device (there is no such an option on my device). Can anyone confirm that setting "Alarm volume" exists on his device?

I'm using B126.... maybe things changed in newer version?
You can select different alarm tones for each alarm. Some are louder than others.
Or you can create louder/quieter tones on a PC and import them.

Hello everyone! First I want to thank everyone for their hard work! I wish I could contribute more.
I would like to know if there is ANY WAY possible to have Different ringtone per notification.
Example - one sound for email and another sound for SMS, etc...
When going into Settings it doesn't seem to have this feature.
I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a way to do this.
Thanks,
quad
to change the ringtone for sms click the messaging icon>menu>settings. scroll down until you see notifications settings and then select ringtone. hope this helps!

@babi_gurlx Thanks, been trying to figure out how to choose the ringtone for SMS.
If you want a profile app that will control the volume for separate notification and SMS, I've been using Profile
That's the ringtone for notifications, meaning any notification (SMS, email, etc)
Unless I'm missing something.
I want a different ringtone for SMS than email.
Thanks

Hi,
Is it possible to have a custom tone for mail? I have got a tone working for texts but cannot figure any way to get custom message for emails........
Yes. Get the app called Zedge in the market. You can assign email, notification, ringtones...ect. They have alot of tones to download also.

With Zedge you can only assign as a notification sound, not just for mail. it plays for all things like low battery etc as well
Open the app in question and go into its settings, should be there

If you open Mail and go to settings/notification settings it only lets you turn notification on or off not asign a tone. I want something like "you have mail"
I have some on the phone but cannot find a way to asign it just for mail...
This is the stock mail app?

Yes.
New to Android, just changed from Windows........
Just set up the app and you're right - I assume it uses the stock notification sound as set in the sound settings. Bit of an oversight from HTC, there

Yes that is the only one I can get to work. If I set "you have mail" as the
stock tone it plays the same for ll notifications. I have set one OK for Texts..
I just use Gmail and you can set it for that so assumed it'd be the same for the other apps
When on your homescreen, press the personalize button. Scroll down, press 'notification sound' and choose email.

On your SD card put it in Media/Audio/Notifications it should then show in the list
Is there anyway to flash the Google Calender over the Samsung one?
Also believe I found a bug with silencing notifications. I like having a phone ringtone but no text ones but yet when I choose "silent" as my notification ringtone it still goes off. Any ideas?
Cheers

Calender is just up to you as long as you can have the apk file simply put in in system or even just install it outside of system like a normal app. You can have have a rom without calender, it's not mandatory.
About the notification, if your not using the system messaging you may need to set specific settings in the app itself, if you do check both the app settings and settings>sounds notification sound.
I think you can just set the volume of notifications under sounds to 0 while keeping the ringtone high.
Any idea where I can get the Google calendar apk?
Disregard. Gotta love an easy Google search.

Hi All,
Seems like a great and useful forum here. I have read a lot of useful threads here since I got my SmartWatch 2. Love my watch seems to work well so far.
I've just installed WatchWidgets by Magnus Eriksson and have placed widgets on my watchface, all seem to be working, apart from the alarm widget. It's not displaying at all. Do I have to install an extension to make it display, it's the stock Android alarm app that it should be displaying.
Thank you for any advice.

Do you have an alarm active if not it will show nothing.

Thanks for the reply. I have multiple alarms active, could it be that?
Or am I missing something I should have installed?
Connectivity apps installed are:
-Smart Connect
-SmartWatch 2
App extensions installed are:
-Calendar reminder
-Call handling
-Commander
-Missed call
-Quick reply for smartwatch
-Smart camera
-Smart ext for FB
-SmartExtensionAPI
-WatchIt!
-WatchWidgets
-Weather
-WebBrowser
Try one single alarm on the phone and nothing on the watch and see what it does. I must say I haven't used it so I'm guessing a bit

The alarm widget of the watch is not showing alarms from your phone. It will only show alarms made by your watch.

Ah, so it doesn't show any alarms from the phone? Any recommendations for a phone alarm extension if one is available?
Thanks again all for your help and advice
Ok my question is, can I change the little stupid (ding dong) notification sound on the gear s2 4g tmibile version watch.? Like maybe with a sound from zedge or any notification sound I have on my phone. You can use the gear app on your phone to transfer pics and ? tracks but is there a file manager app or any way to change the notification sounds? Thx.
I'm looking for a way to change this as well. I figured out how to change the default ringtone, now I want to change the notification settings. Anyone?

How does one change the default ringtone to one's own sound file? Can you provide the DIY steps?

Haven't figured out how to do that, only change the ringtone using the ringtones included with the device.
