[Completed] Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook SM-T530NU Bricked - XDA Assist

All of a sudden, my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook (SM-T530NU) won't boot past the "Nook" screen. I have tried everything I can think of to get it to work.
It is rooted. I tried doing a factory reset from holding down the home , volume up and power buttons at the same time. It says that it is successful, but it still won't boot. I tried reinstalling the root using CF-Auto-Root.tar using Odin v3.07. I tried it using Odin v3.12. Nothing has worked.
Actually, I'm not so sure this was all of a sudden. About a week ago, I noticed a lot of my home screen icons had been replaced with the dead Android icon and that those apps no longer existed on my tablet. I use Link2SD, so I just assumed the external card had gone bad. So I bought a new one. I unmounted the old one, turned off the tablet, and installed the new card. That is when it got stuck on the "Nook" screen and wouldn't boot.
So, is it bricked? Or is there a fix that I just can't find?

[Q] Bricked SAMSUNG Galaxy Ace GT-S5830M Can't access Recovery or Download Mode

Hi,
I installed CEBERUS V5 ROM in my Galaxy Ace without any problem, it works perfectly, when installing it on my brother's phone, it did everything OK until the last reboot in ClockWorkRecovery, the phone restarted as spected but it got stuck with the Samsung Galaxy Ace logo, it doesn't do anything else. I can't access recovery or download mode, it shows exactly the same samsung screen when doing the key combinations for each case.
When I plug it to power it doesn't show the battery image, it automatically turns on and shows samsung logo again. If I plug it to my PC it's the same and the PC doesn't recognize any plugged device. I took the battery and tried again thousand of times, and nothing seems to get that screen out.
Is there anyway I can solve this?
In case there's no chance to fix it, I have a warranty for the phone, is there anyway my provider can notice I tried to install a custom ROM?
Anyway I would prefer fixing it myself, please can you give me some advice?
Thanks a lot!

(sOLVED) my note is stuck on Samsung boot screen!!

i upgraded my note N8000 via odin mobile pro with success and everything was smooth and the root was not intact
I tried to flash a theme via mobile odin but was not success, but note was still ok
then 2 days later I tried to enter the recovery mode , i found the note stuck on samsung boot screen and dose not reboot, I can enter download mode but can not enter recovery mode to reflash even the stock rom
what to do?
should i reflash the CWM as 1st time? then reflash the root if i found it is gone?
or i have to reflash the stock rom first via odin desk top since i can not reboot the note? problem is the stock rom is on the note and do not have it on PC
the note now is on Samsung boot screen, how to turn it off since note can not remove the battery?
EDIT 1::good:
Flashed a stock recovery via odin desk top, and rebooted
Note is back alive , no wipes, every thing still there, root still here
Rebooted once again with success
rebooted into recovery (stock since I lost my CWM) with success
EDIT 2
Flashed CWM and my note is back for my modifications
:fingers-crossed:
Stock Recovery File?

Do you have a link to where you found the stock recovery rom/image? And how did you flash it? I am having a similar problem right now.

Will reflashing the tablet to stock, delete all of my files off of it? Is there a way to retrieve the files through download mode somehow?

It says you flashed a stock recovery. Is it the same case for a stock ROM?

sorry, my mistake, flashing the stock rom will not delete your stuff, just be sure to flash the same rom or higher, not lower one
So, I tried flashing the stock recovery and that did not work. And then I tried flashing the stock rom (multiple times with different roms) and that did not work either. My tablet is still stuck on the screen that says "Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1". Do you have any other suggestions?
can u write some details about what was before and reason for problem, to think together about a solution

My Note 10.1 N8013 was rooted, had TWRP, and Cyanogenmod 10.2 Nightly on it. I hadn't touched it in two days and went to turn it on. It wouldn't turn on, so I assumed it was dead. I charge it overnight and try to turn it on in the morning, but it just goes into a boot loop. The tablet says "Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1" and stays that way until it dies. If I boot into recovery mode, the Teamwin (TWRP) title screen pops up and then immediately disappears. The tablet then shows the battery loading icon if it is plugged in. The icon shows up, then disappears and the shows up again and repeats this a few times. I could only boot into download mode successfully.
I have tried flashing different stock roms and recoveries through odin, including the one that you have linked on here. None of them have worked. I have also tried repartitioning the tablet, which passed on Odin, but did not solve the problem.
Other forums say that I should do a factory reset or wipe the data, but I do not know how to do this without being able to boot into recovery or the OS itself.
Thanks
P.S. I also brought it to Best Buy to see if the Samsung guy could reflash the stock rom, but his rom did not work either. They are all passing on Odin, so it isn't an error in that case.
I read that a lot of people got problems with Cyano roms. I did not like it and never used it, sorry can not help you

Could it be because of the Cyanogen rom? I didn't update recently... I probably updated it a week before it died. Would you happen to know how to do a factory reset / wipe the data from the tablet, if I can't get into recovery mode or the OS?
I don't think that there is any other way, sorry about that.
try to put your problem in the Cyano rom thread, may others had the same and solved it
Ok thank you
Let me know if you get it fixed
Hi kyleschepis,
Let me know if you find a solution. I have a very similar issue . . . the difference is, I am not using a custom ROM. I have the stock ROM that came with the GT-N8013.
My issue started about 5 days ago. My Galaxy Note had been having occasional issues with the external SD card. A warning would appear saying that the SD card had been removed, and a couple of seconds later it would re-mount and every thing was fine.
But 5 days ago, I picked up my note and turned the screen on (it was already started) and noticed the warning message while the screen was still locked. Then, as the second message was still being displayed letting me know that the SD card had been mounted, I swipe the screen to unlock. But instead of unlocking, my Note completely rebooted. It got as far as the logo screen (displaying "Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1"), but would go no further.
I am able to get into the Odin download mode but cannot get into recovery mode no matter what I do/
I have tried re-flashing the stock ROM ("KIES_HOME_N8013UEUCMI3_N8013XARCMI3_813049_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5") several times, as well as trying to install customer recovery modes like CWM and TWRP, as well as the stock recovery. But the power + volume up combination does not get me into recovery mode. Even if, as many have suggested, I continue holding the button combination until the logo screen displays a second or a third time.
I have been without my Note for 5 days now, and I use it for everything. So, any help I can get would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rob

I have the same problem. I was just playing a game when it suddenly turned off and went to the boot screen. Also tried installing N8000XXUDNE5_N8000OLBDNE3_N8000DXUDND1_HOME.tar.md5 (success but also didn't work). Still stuck at the "Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1" screen.
Also can't access recovery, or do a wipe before installing firmware (I think USB debugging isn't turned on).
Did you find any solutions yet?
Thanks.

[Q] Samsung Logo Stuck - Advice Needed

Samsung Galaxy S5 G900A (AT&T)
Previously on a day off I became very bored, and decided to root my phone. After playing around with everything for a day i did not like it. So i just went into recovery mode and did factory rest on my phone. Now I used supersu and a basic root everything worked perfect after i rooted it. But once I tried to put the stock firmware back on my phone it started acting funny. With showing Unfortunately Context Service has stopped. It was so absurd my phone couldnt function properly. I tried flashing the stock firmware on there in hopes that it would fix my problem, but it only made my phone completely inoperable. I have been trying multiple ways to fix this using odin v3.09 and odin v 3.10.6. Here are some of the files I have tried to get my phone back to stock. (G900AUCU1ANCE_G900AATT1ANCE_G900AUCU1ANCE_HOME.tar.md5) I have tried downgrades. Odin seems to fail on every single one besides this set up (AP_G900AUCU1ANCE_964333_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5) (CP_G900AUCU1ANCE_964333_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5) (CSC_ATT_G900AATT1ANCE_964333_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5) Odin loads those three files onto my phone perfectly with in 3 minutes but after they are installed on my phone. When i power it up it gets through the first screen and only shows half of the samsung logo freezes and goes to a black screen with a blue light. I have been working at this problem for a little over a week a couple hours a night and i really can not seem to make any progess. Help would be greatly appreciated.
Still having troubles
Flashes firmware perfectly fine but still can not seem to get past the samsung logo loading super slow and then just cutting out and going to a black screen with a blue stationary light on top left of phone.
Still looking for advice

GT-N8010 stuck in boot logo and can't enter recovery

Hi everybody, I´m kinda new in this and I´m really sad because my tablet won't boot anymore :crying:, I have a samsung galaxy 10.1 gt-n8010 wich I've been using for like a 2 years or so, everything was perfect(I was using omega rom v2.1 for more than a year!!!) until last week, I was recharging the battery of my tablet it was turned on , then later that day I realized that the tablet was on the boot logo (samsung galaxy 10.1), I tried to restart it but same thing happend, it got stuck at the boot logo, and when I tried to enter the recovery menu, only the letters teamwin are shown, but after 2-3 seconds it reboots and again got stuck at the logo that's how the pain and suffering started :crying::crying:
I´ve tried so many things to revive my tablet, wich I will list here;
I´ve flashed it (4.1.2 and 4.4.2 both stock roms and even the custom omega rom wich was the one I was using) using several versions of odin (v3.07 - v1.85 - v3.10.6) and odin says it passed succesfully, but then the problem remains
I´ve removed the battery and leave it just like that all day long, even I tried to turned it on without the battery (with direct power), but nothing it doesn't even turn on at all, no luck either.
I've flashed with some custom recoverys, (cwm, twrp), and again, no recovery.
I've tried to flashed it with several versions of pit files (I´m desperate and mad by now !!!) using several versions of roms and NOTHING even a file for a bootloader and again, no recovery, no boot no nothing it's just like if it wasn't flashing anything at all.
I'm sad, desperate, mad, angry, I wan´t my precious back !!!
Does anybody knows how to revive it ???
I have searched and searched and I've found nothing
Thanks in advance.
i have the same problem with my gt-n8000 :S:S:S:S someone help pls :S:S:S
Kindly get debrick.img for your phone to revive again
Even I have bricked my note 10.1 and past 1 week im searching solution for it.
Got this that is debrick.img which can be created by unbricked device only and can be used via sdcard to revive your bricked phone.
Can check this post - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2626147
Please help me also if someone can create a debrick.img for note 10.1 N8000 too.
