Its for MIUI (Xiaomi's launcher) though. Not EMUI (Huawei's) and it requires root

Yeah. Thought maybe you could try it, but you could always just use one like this that replaces the statusbar with one that has a centered clock and doesn't require root.

I've never rooted my Honor 8 and it's available under Themes (the Huawei app) I think.

Download the font you want from here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/themes/noroot-font-styles-updated-02-09-16-t3453551/page1
Put it inside /sdcard/hwthemes folder. You should see the fonts from the Themes app.
Anyone who get this theme from theme foxx to work with Honor 8?
www theme foxx com/2017/12/ios-11-emoji-theme-emui-devices.html
I can't get the emojis to work.
1. Copy the downloaded iOS 11 Emoji EMUI Theme.hwt to HWThemes folder on your device.
2. Then open Themes app > Customize (the floating button at bottom) > Font section > Select the new font file.
3. Restart your device.
It's working for me (EMUI 5.0.1), also thanks for sharing this. Now I have iOS emojis lol

Are you running EMUI 5.0.X over Android 7.0?
That's weird, there should have a customize option to only change the font style.
Dumb question: do you have the Huawei Theme app?

This might be a late response, but just found an app that let you tweak EMUI.
First find the app "EMUI Tweaker" in Google Play Store. Once installed, open the app and just enable the "font change". Reset your device & then open the EMUI Theme app and follow the instructions I just described before.
Hello,
I've downloaded Pure Icons theme, but when I try to apply it it keeps saying "Applying theme" and nothing happens.
I want to get rid of rounded icons. Is it possible?
Try setting a custom icon pack through the 'Themes' stock app or download a custom launcher .
Seems like your theme is broken or smth

probably have to check if Huawei theme app has a stock oreo theme, or if it's available on play store, i'm sure Huawei has removed it.

There is a theme on the Play store called 'Pure AOSP' and it's for Huawei phones.
I use it to change the lockscreen to have clock on top. (Works with notifications)
But I'm not sure if it has icons.
Best bet is to look for an icon pack and just set it up with a theme app or a 3rd party launcher.
