Echo problem on caller's phone. - General Questions and Answers

The Problem
Caller hears his voice, echo effect.
Check with GSM provider and the problem is from my phone they also reset my line.
Did not believe my provider and check with a SIM of another provider but the same problem.
Walk around my town the same problem if i make a call or someone calls me he hears his voice.
Do hard reset :crying: but the same problem.
On Settings -> Sound and Notification -> Sound Enchancement ->all to off, or no result if on or off .
and at More -> Mobile networks -> Enchanced 4G LTE Mode on or off has no result the problem is the same,
also same problem if i use 3G or 4G network for my connection at the GSM provider.
If i use a pair of headphones the problem is much more better, caller does not hear his voice, almost nothing of echo.
Using loudspeaker of the phone is like using headphones the same results, caller does not hear his voice, almost nothing of echo.
Found that when i push the headphones out in order to continue speaking with phone's mic, echo starts to be enormous to the caller, especially if speaker power is to max.
Echo decreases when i push my speakers power to min, but still exist a liitle only echo to caller's phone.
The problem full fixed only if i turn off-mute my mic when the caller is speaking but i can not mute and unmute mic when i want to talk!
Can someone help... any solution?

No any idea?

First, you didn't say what device you have or what android version/ROM you are using, that information would be useful in providing answers.
It seems to me that your mic is picking up the sound that your speaker is emitting and then feeding back to their phone. If you are on stock, try turning the in call volume down so that your speaker isn't so loud.
If you are rooted and using a custom ROM, you can edit your sound file in a text editor to change the max in-call speaker volume.
The point is, try to keep the sound coming from your speaker low enough so that your mic doesn't "hear" it.

ive always noticed this issue when using speakerphone
the noise from the loud speaker is so loud that the mic picks it up and reverberates the sound causing a echo
have had it happen on many devices

I Think that i should low the mic's sensitivity because if i low the speaker volume i can not hear the caller in a noisy place.
If i scratch with my nail the back metal case of the phone the caller hears a very loud noise.
Do you know how the above can be done, how can lower the mic's sensitivity?
Device is a Vernee Apollo light not rooted with Android 6.
Thank U

That can probably be edited in your sound file like the speaker volume can be edited.

it's understandable, but the strong echo of the fire phone arises from behind the bottom speaker near the microphone, the lower speaker during the conversation should be off by 0, but the program fire os, then it does not turn it off, I think, that this is some kind of error in the software. from the echo can be removed by disconnecting the wire from the bottom speaker next to the microphone, and through the stereo headphones will be. I'm very sorry for the translation from Russian into English. this is Google translator.

[Q] Echo with the Car Dock

I have the official Samsung car dock. When I take a call on it via speakerphone the callers complain of severe echo when they talk. Has anyone else had this experience? Is there anything I can do about it other than go back to using a headset for calls?
I have the same issue while just using my phone on auxiliary with my car. It happens when your volume is up too loud, the microphone can remove the echo, but only up to certain levels. Try turning your speaker volume down a bit and it should help, if turning it down just a bit puts it out of your range of hearing, then you might listen to music too loud all day.
The voice of the caller does not come through the car stereo. Once I take a call the sound routs back through the phone's speaker. So it's the phone's speaker that is being picked up by the mic.
I wonder if the sound from the speaker is being channeled to the mic by the plastic of the car dock.

Stereo recording volume too loud?!

I have horrible noises when recording video (tested only 720/1080p).
Did some testing and tried unchecking "stereo recording", re-shoot the same clip and voila! No more crackling, popping, hissing and over-amplified sound.
I mean you can hear my feet shuffling for couple of centimeters when i pan around...what the hell is up with this? Plus if there's cars passing by quite far away, they sound like trains over rails...lol
Normal voices seem to be so over-amplified that the sound hisses, pops and crakles when one speaks. It's kind of the same effect as in-call sound if it's too loud (well, more than 50% ear speaker volume): you hear the same cracking...
Is the feature broken and needs to be disabled or did i miss some microphone volume adjustment settings somewhere?

Lollipop with usb audio on Logitech G930?

Anyone have any luck getting these to work loud? I use them through otg as its a wireless headset with a dogle. The audio is low when listening to music. While calling people they say the mic is the clearest they've ever heard me but while in call the volume of even lower. I've tried sound boosters and even viper but still it is not loud enough :/ though the buttons work like volume scroll and the next/back/pause buttons. Just the sound is not loud enough. Anyone at all have a solution?

Earpiece speaker volume too low when playing audio clips

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum.
I have a stock Moto G 2015 2/16 GB version.
I've always had a problem with it: when I try to play an audio clip in Telegram or Whatsapp through the earpiece speaker, by pulling the phone up to my ear, the volume is just too low. It's all right if I'm in a quiet room, but as soon as there's even modest noise around, I can't hear anything. I can use the volume keys to adjust it, but it turns out I'm already at the highest setting and it's definitely not enough.
Conversely, when I use that same speaker during a phone call I can hear fine, even in a noisier room.
I'm running Android 6 at the moment but, as I said, I've had this problem since the beginning, when my phone still ran 5.x.
Thanks for any suggestions.
I actually have the opposite issue.
xt1540 2/16 6.0 stock not-rooted, bootloader unlocked
Music audio, notification tones (bells, beeps, whistles) are fine and loud
Phone calls volume is very low.
I've tried...when call starts down the volume then back up...no go
Move back to 5.1.1, still same issue.
Tried removing LCD to get ear screen out of the way...still issue persists.

I replaced the ear speaker, still low audio during calls. I forgot to describe when call is placed in speakerphone mode, the audio is fine albeit slightly distorted on high volume.
** comment ** I have a Lumia 640 LTE, (SD410) call volume in earspeaker is loud where I have to turn it down a couple clicks. And I've had people tell me that on their end my voice comes through same if not better than a corded landline. (using the same SIM that was used in the G3).
squid kernel screws the speaker while calling, make calls louder
Looks like it's an issue with a lot brand/model phones.
Something about mixer_paths.xml and "RX1 Digital Volume" needs to be changed.
So I'm guessing all the manufacturers are really lazy in tuning their Android smartphones to perform best for it's primary function, being a phone. Well, for that matter, overall sound quality with all the mic's and speakers.

Thank You hp420
I haven't tried it yet, but when I do I'm sure my G3 will be usable. And thanks again for taking the time and testing/providing different volume level versions of mix_paths.xml.

Update: I've tried the modified mixer_paths.xml, only marginal success. Possibly have a damaged speaker.

Control stereo speakrs

Hi
My phone felt down and the bottom speaker isn't working anymore and can't be fixed so i thought if there is any app or mod or framework to use with xposedinstaller to be able to control and redirect all the sounds to the top speaker because now it's not loud when i receive call probabaly because the phone rings from the bottom speaker and when when i get a call and put it on loudspeaker i can't hear anything because it's also probably from bottom speaker.
Thanks.
PS : The top speaker is working perfectly and is loud.
Can anyone answer ??
