[Completed] Advice on flashing rom on Leeco LE2 - XDA Assist

Hi all
Just some advice please, I have Leeco LE2 which doesn't have a external sd card
My question is if i flash a rom through TWRP , i put the new rom to flash in internal memory but when i go into TWRP and have to wipe the data before i flash wouldn't it wipe the new rom to flash too as it is stored on the internal memory and not on a sd card?
Also just wanted to check that i have backed up through TWRP , Boot, sytem and Data , does this back up everything as in apps and their data?
Any help appreciated thanks Richard

Hello and welcome to XDA-developers!
1. If you wipe data, your internal memory will be intact so no worry about that.
2. Yes, backing up Data will backup all your apps and their data

i got back my imei fixed through a local store. i tried everything which didn't work at that moment. now i have my imei and i used mtk droid tools to take a backup this time and tried the whole process again. i used sp flash tools and the zip method for increasing internal memory for installing color os rom. but it didn't work again.
the current status of my phone is that i am using stock rom which is rooted but all i wanted to ask is that did i mess up with my internal sd card which is actually not allowing me to install color os rom? or is it something else? because i did each and every step correctly each time.

I followed each step correctly..
i used 880mb partition file for that i did wipe data/factory reset>wipe cache>wipe system> wipe dalvik cache and then installed 880mb.zip
as memntioned in that thread i installed the rom zip directly after that and rebbot system. i was supposed to get the bootloop at first which i got and then i did wipe data/factory reset>wipe cache>wipe system> wipe dalvik cache again and installed rom again. but i am stuck in bootloop.
i was reading the reviews in color os thread and it was mentioned to unmount cache and sytem before flashing i did that too but no luck.
so please let me know if i did anything wrong because thiis is all i have been trying.

Figured out internal Sd card mount error clear solution.
Here's what i think you have done
You did a system partition with sptool and also tried zip like 507mb to 1gb or in between .
I had the same problem of lost internal sd card in file manager.
If you want it back or increase system partition try factory mode to format unmount error of internal sd card.
follow these steps.
1) take or keep a backup in sd card.
2) go into cwm recovery mode and flash 507mb partition zip or 1gb partition zip(507mb for undo partition and 1gb for partition)
3)To solve mount issue without external sd card go to factory mode after the flash.
select "Full test" option in it select memory it'll show 3 options
1 Format ext...
2 test pass
3 test fail
And it shows the space in yellow text in two sd card as 0 mb or any . Select the first option which will increase the space of internal sd.
After you'll just need to update or restore backup to successfully fix mount error for internal sd card either for partition or undo partition.
This worked for me when i just tried various format option to format the partition error.

[Q] Custom recovery question.

Hey guys, this question is specific to the oneplus one or just simply any phone without an sd card. I owned a galaxy s4 in the past and the sd card was very useful because i would copy the rom i wanted to flash on the sd card and then using a custom recovery before flashing the rom i would WIPE THE WHOLE DEVICE (not including the ext sd card) then i would 100% clean install roms... but how would i do that with the oneplus? If i wipe the whole phone my zip file will also be gone so is there a way around this? When i flash roms i like to clean the whole device and not just wipe dalvic and cache.... Thanks!

@eeswar which ROM you are using??? If it is RC4 then it is normal because RC4 will have only 30mb internal storage free
If you want to increase the internal storage then partition your SD card to (ext4)
and follow these steps LINK

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I am using stock rom only! I previously installed CWM recovery but its got vanished after SD corrupt. so now i have installed TWRP recovery and added a new SD. i didn't install any apps but available space is only 36mb which is suppose to be some 90mb! do you think this space occupied by previous and current recovery files?? if yes can you guide me how to remove old CWM recovery?

Your internel memory is filled from bad blocks. U need to flash superwipe. Before flashing a rom if you want memory to be regained..
Use this zip file : Superwipe. Place it your sd card.. Then flash it.. Original creator is thewisenerd for this script..
First take a backup of your current rom using twrp.. Then flash superwipe.. Then again reboot to recovery.. Then restore your backup..

[Q] flashed resurrection rom on galaxy tab 2 7.0, no memory left to install apps

I rooted my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 P3113 (used to have jellybean 4.2.2.) and flashed the Resurrection Remix custom ROM and GAPPS on it. It's fantastic and running great!!!
The tablet came with 8 GB of space and I have a 32 GB sd card in it. I keep getting "not enough space" warnings from my SD card even though it's almost empty. I can't install any apps to the sd card, and there is not enough internal memory to store them either. This makes the tablet almost as useless as before I rooted and put a custom rom. Is there a way to get my sd card to stop thinking it's full/ allow apps to move over to it? Is the next step to partition the sd card and then use an app like link2sd? I've never done it before. Please advise, thank you.

Thank you, I did that already and it made no difference.
You can try transferring the data on the sdcards to some other place and then you can try formatting them through recovery

The ROM and data are in separate partitions. It sounds like you didn't wipe your data when you flashed a ROM with a different version of Android. So , the data partition is still full with your old data and the apps that are installed there are inaccessible by the system. You need to go to recovery and wipe data, but not the sd card, and not internal memory. I don't believe a factory reset will help since it seems the system already can not see the partition the apps are installed on now.

Clean-Flashing a new ROM

Hi, After using sultan's 6.0CMod ROM for quite a while I'm looking for something newer (perhaps RR's or something similar)
I want to completely delete my internal storage before installing and since int's been a long time since the last time I installed a new ROM from scratch I wanted to ask:
After deleting internal storage through TWRP's recovery, will my phone unroot/return to Cyanogen recovery?
If not: do I simply delete internal storage --> put the ROM file & GApps on the SD card --> go to recovery- wipe system, data etc --> install the ROM ?
or am I missing something
thanks

Why you want to clean internal storage?
Clean flashing doesn't needs cleaning of internal storage.
