[Completed] help updating LG P925g - XDA Assist

I just picked up this phone used. No sim card. I'm trying to install an app through my wifi connection. I can google search the website, but when trying to go to the site, I get a certificate error. I select "proceed", it begins to load site, then kicks me out to phone home screen. I've tried to factory reset and update (I has android 2.2.2). I use te LG tool, phone connects and says update available. select start update...appears to begin, then simply hangs up. What can I do to use this phone? I only want to use it as a home monitor with the camera,,,cant access google play store to download the app from there because it gives me a "browser no longer supported" error.

[Q] LG C900 APP help

I just got an LG C900, and it won't download the "Facebook" App.
I go to the App, but it doesn't give me the download/install option that Apps do,and this is the only App that has this problem.
Can someone please help me?
I've tried even resetting the phone, and still no help.
My friend who had the phone for only 2 months had the App, but reset the phone before giving it to me to get rid of all his stuff. He doesn't know what up with it either.
download facebook from here -> http://www.4shared.com/get/XFLXRDKt/Facebook_for_Android__151_.html copy the application to your phone and install it (go to settings->applications->and check unknown sources)
How do I copy it to my phone?
I tried going to the link on my phone, but it keeps saying it's not valid.
I don't know how to add it onto my phone by downloading it onto my comp.

Wildfire & Google Play

Why can I not download Apps from Google Play onto my Wildfire.
When I log into my account onthe PC it says all the Apps have been installed but they are not on my phone.
I have tried restarting the phone to see if that will force it to download but it dosent. I have also tried to download via the website on my phone and it still does not transfer to my phone.
Anyone have any ideas?

[Q] Lt18i problem in Google Play Store.

Hi everyone, i m new here.
I have faced a big problem nw.
First of all, i can't download app from Google Play Store properly. It keeps giving me a message 'XXX could not be downloaded due to an error 927'. For sometimes the download will run but it can't complete the download.
This starts to happen after i have install and run ' Vodafone Market Enabler *ADS* ' from Google Play Store. (Ok i admit that i m stupid to use an app that i even dunno how it works.)
Though i still can access to internet via Facebook or Browser, but i can feel that there is a different compared to before. (Eg. Sometime it will show 'can't connect to internet' when using Facebook and laggy when using Browser)
I have searched everywhere to find the solution and tried everything i can do, but the problem is still there.
Maybe buying a new phone could solve the matter but i really can't afford it.
I m using SE Xperia Arc S
Build number 4.1.B.0587
and it is rooted.
Please help.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, I too have that phone and had the same prob
R u sure you logged in your google account
And no need for that app Vodafone market enabler
Waitin for ur reply
U can private message me ok
Ok, my phone is getting back to normal just now with no reason, or maybe i can say with don't know which is the reason is.
Let post my 'fixing route' below :
1. Run a 'Factory reset data' in Setting w/o Reset SD card. Problem is still there.
2. Update my phone to unroot it. Of course this is useless here.
3. Rooting my phone again. What m i doing... orz
...Starting to find any solution.
4. Clear data in Setting -> App -> Google Play Store(Force stopped), Google Play Services(Force stopped) and Google Services Framework(Force stopped). Remove my google account and add it back. Reboot. Problem is still there.
5. Uninstall updates of Google Play Store and uninstall Google Play Services. Problem is still there.
6. A solution here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20196766&postcount=14 but i don't know the way to find the .cache so i just leave it.
7. Remove the battery and SD card from phone and leave it about 5 seconds, then place in the SD card and the battery. Problem is still there.
8. A solution by boot into recovery mode and clear the cache and dalvic but my phone can't enter recovery mode so i passed it.
9. Run again 'Factory reset data' w/o Reset SD card. It starts to work as i finally can update my Facebook. After that everything goes back to could-not-be-downloaded-due-to-an-error-927 situation again.
10. Again, running 'Factory reset data' and now with 'Reset SD card'(of course important data is backed up). Problem is still there....
11. Frustrated, keep repeating cancel the download and re-download it. It works, Facebook updated and Root Checker installed. Then, once again it failed to download any other things.
12. About an hour pass then try again the '4th route'. But this time i just force stop and clear data of Google Play Store, Google Services Framework. Strange thing, i go to Google Play Store and it shows me 'Server error'. Restart phone. Google Play Store turns back to normal, but still failed to download.
13. Again after an hour, trying to download again, I found everything has going back to normal. Problem solved.
Though the problem was solved now, still i m scared this will happen again as what had happen in 9. and 11.
My apologies on my broken English.

[Completed] Play Store isn't working,Android Device.

I own an Android Tablet running jelly bean 4.3.Since a month I don't know what happened to my Play Store its just not working when I open it Two options are appearing concerning Google Account,
Existing
New
I'm an existing user so when I proceed to point no.1 by giving all of my account details including Email and Password. It just says "Couldn't establish connection" (internet offline). But I'm online with internet via Wifi. Also tested internet through browser everything is working fine.Websites are working on browser. But just can't go through this Signin phase.
Also my Tablet is rooted with "TowelRoot" utility,I've checked for the latest firmware, and yes latest Software Update is available via OTA but still after downloading it successfully it just suddenly pop-ups that "Update has failed".Now what I've also Unrooted.Verified via "Root Checker" app to make sure that I'm unrooted.Yes,unrooted! Tried again to update firmware over OTA,still no luck
Also tried changing time no correct region and everything regarding time zone to correct and current one,no luck
Tried Reset Factory via Recovery mode,no luck at all!
I can use Third-Party Android stores but don't want to because of Privacy concern.Usually apps from other android stores aren't safe. There's no guarantee whether you'll be safe or unsafe with app you just downloaded form third-party store.
Suggestions are well appreciated.

google play services has stopped working, and the phone too

Hello
I have a Samsung A8 (2018)
It started to appear the message "google play services has stopped working"
I searched online and it says to go and delete cache and data, uninstall updates, but it's impossible.
The phone continue crashing every few seconds and it go back in the main screen.
In Safe mode it's the same thing.
I deleted the cache from bootloader but nothing change.
What can I do to save data and not just reset phone from bootloader?
Thank you
Just an Idea : Connect the Phone to PC -> Put another Version of the "Google Play Services.apk" on your Phone and try to rush there from Filemanager on your A8 and try to install over the faulty Version (maybe this could work)
I tried, but I can't.
After a lot of tries I could go in filemager but installation failed.
I tried also from safe mode
Does the Installation fails because of different signature ? maybe try with (For Example) APK Mirror installer ?
I don't know. It just take a lot of time and then says "app not installed".
I will try with APK Mirror installer, if I will be able to install it...
EDIT
I was able to install "APK Mirror installer". but same. I can't install "Google Play Services" because it says the version installed is newer.
Actually is the same version (the last one, downloaded from another phone with apk extractor)
