No problem . I use stock but last time i went trying custom kernels they seemed to all perform similar so use which one you like. Its a custom launcher named perception, I think its based on launcher3 or trebuchet

Just to report one small thing... At the end of the reboot there's an android logo ... This logo isn't good resizing...

It is corrupted ...download again! Many users including me have flashed the rom no such issues. And it cannot hard brick ur device.

Try formatting data and wiping everything in TWRP. I did that and rebooted into TWRP and did that again and rebooted into TWRP 1 more time and flashing worked again.

For me its error 7. Tried all the way but no luck. Even dod factory reset and then data wipe, clear data format data but still the same

On error 7, please send exact recovery version. And "if you can" on recovery, plug phone and with minimal fastboot adb :

this is just a temporary measure due to Huawei media/camera stack cockiness.
As soon as there will be a more generic fix that will be shipped in the GSI project, I will revert again to GSIs.
Still, this ROM is a GSI with a couple of fixes to get Camera working and you will still need what's in the AIO thread.

you are the only one have this issue!

I flash it on my Honor 9. It works well. But Quick Charge doesn't work. And WiFi hotspot doesn't work either.
I root it with Magisk 16.7

Actually not true. Many Huawei/honor phones are the same internally so you can use the same roms on different phones.

Yeah,true,but the Mate 9 has a Kirin 960 while the P8 Lite 2017 has a Kirin 655 so I don't think it will work though and from experience I saw that these phones can be very easy to brick so I wouldn't risk it.

I have downloaded the file 5 times and it shows zip file is corrupt in each attempt what to do?tried formatting data wiped full phone still not work,using latest orangefox recovery!
