I found an unofficial version of TWRP on the net, during searching for rooting methods of J111F.
I don't remember the source as it was a while back. But I have tested it on my phone and is working great, except some flaws in it's user interaction that does not create problems in the functioning of the program.

But before it:
beware that I don't take responsibility if anything goes wrong, though I have tested it and can confirm it's safe enough if you know what precautions to take.

Have you solved the SD card problem? I had the same problem before with TWRP not reading/mounting external storage on my other phone (Redmi Note 3). TWRP can be a little finicky about how SD cards are formatted. Try reformatting your SD card using your phone instead of your computer and see if that works.
BTW, could you be so kind as to post the links to the unofficial TWRP for the Samsung J1 Ace SM-J111F? I'm sure others would be interested as well.

I recently rooted my note 2 via some YouTube link.. Now for some reason I am still getting over the air updates and my recovery mode always goes into the Samsung recovery (only options are wipe data and some others.. The screen is black with a green android mascot )
However all the root apps are working.. So what do I do£
Do I install the update which has come over the airborne not?

Have you even gone to the thread for your device and read there? That should be the first thing you do before you do anything on your phone. Following some youtube video then coming here for help is not very considerate. Also you provided no information.
Luckily for you. You have root access but you haven't installed a custom recovery yet. You need to do that next. Then install the rom of your choice. Look in the development section for your device and read the stickies. Good luck.

yes i did.. there was a video.. i watched a 100 of those before rooting the device .. so in the end i chose one which i thought i was the most comfortable with .
unfortunately this happened and now it has come notice that xda is the overlord of sorts in android .. at the time i didnt kow else i would have followed the xda guide..
hence i ask NOW WHAT.
should i unroot ?
my recovery goes into stock recovery and cwm or twer recovery doesnt work properly .. so hence my question was thus framed..

Dude. I just told you what to do. It sounds like you are already rooted so now you flash custom recovery and from there flash the rom of your choice.

Anyone can confirm that the file is safe to use cause i scanned it on virus total and it tell me superuser.apk as Android-Spyware, I don not want to infect my device please anyone make my doubt clear.

I'm not good with english and either with android a lot.... but a little information regarding root tools i know is that they use 'exploits' to get it working, as i said i'm not an expert so maybe not all tools."MAYBE".. regarding "Android-Spyware", i'm not sure about it in case they can spy on sensitive data etc....
i think it's safe. To confirm/make sure more, wait for more replies....

I realy hard searching the net for a rom for this phone from android lollipop.
I found on other websites threads like this, and they are always with the same surveys to download the rom-files.
I think maybe they are fake. There is not a lot to find about that, or maybe i am not seeking good enough. But i know i can trust this place for this things.
Is there somebody who can help? I was also thinking about genereating my own rom, but is this save? I fastreaded soms tutorials of that, but they are realy long.

Hallo i dont think there exist a lollilop rom for our brigadiers.
I have the kitkat version.

Hi, i find a method from now i got my brigadier with Lollipop, i was looking for on this forum and others and found a solution, but im new on this and let me explain as i can (sorry my English is bad ), i needed to get rooted my device (i did it with Kingroot) them i get root with SuperSU Following a tutorial on Youtube, Why i get supersu if i had king root?, Brigadiers users know that the bootloader is locked and cant unlock (at least i cant do), we need SuperSU for install and Use Flashfire app (Chainfire is Developer, sorry i dont know how to tag), when u get all that, just look for a brigadier lollipop rom (keep on mind it most be on .zip) and follow any tutorial how to use Flashfire, and ready!, if ur device keep freeze on kyocera logo or another one, just turn off and on again. till it start normally. if u have any question send me a msg or mail ill answer so fast as i can.

You can download the ROM with instructions inside the RAR file from the link below. Size is 877 MB. You may have to create a free 50GB account at the mega.nz file hosting site as otherwise it may prompt with the message that the download limit has been reached.
