Just making sure, you did Google this? Sony is very open on unlocking your bootloader and that kind of stuff and provides public tools to do so. You'll find instructions on how to do this on their website.

are you talking about gingerbreak? my bad, its a little hard to find if you dont know about it, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1044765 just download the latest file on the 2nd post and install it from your phone like a normal app. as for the guide yes it is a step by step telling you what you need first and how its done, Read over it first before you follow it, Gotta be safe!

What to do ?

I have Sony Xperia L and I want to root it. When I tried to root it via Framaroot, it gives an error of #7. So what should I do and please can anyone tell me the fix of this problem. Thanks in advance.

May be some1 "knows what to do" BUT this post is really crappy. Title "What to do" in as useful as happy christmas... or i take a nap
Can you tell me The installed Firmware + Abdroid Version pls? Also the used Version of the tool you tried to root with.
Then may be adding if you have USB-Debug enabled, if windoes show up as is should as you unstalled all necessary drivers...
Got Phone C2104 or C2105? Is your bootloader already unlocked
Here --> Xperia L you can find real every Info needed, just in case you're bored to ask me
Farmaroot is the best and easy way. .. may be follow the instructions correctly link

Hi and thank you for using XDA Assist
Have you tried this?
Also if you want root i suggest you to directly flash a customized Xperia ROM with most of the features from Stock ROM included
Good luck !

[Completed] I lean my TAB E (SM-T560NZWUXAC) and it's now lock

Hi
I lean my tablet to a now EX-friend. the tablet was locked with his credentials so I had to re-initialise it.
however, it now ask me to input the previous credentials in order to re-enable the tablet (wich I don't and can't obtain since I don't talk to that jerk anymore) samsung and google won't help me with this issue. I have the proof of purchase to ensure I'm the legitimate owner if needed.
is there a way to hack / flash in order to make the device forget this anoying step?
step where I'm stuck says: This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google Acount that was previously synced on this device:
thanks

Mi A1 need help to root/unlock with or without TWRP to install sony app

Hi, I am kinda new in this field, so don't judge me by my question if it sounds silly.
Now my question, I have a mi a1 and I just want to install sony xperia's app like the album & music app etc into this phone. so do I need to root with twrp or without twrp?
Also, I found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_JeYrF8yJ4, so can anyone confirm if I follow this method then will it be unlocked n install twrp in my phone or not?
I hope to get some help here with proper guidance. Thanks.
Try this ...you don't need root to install these Sony apps..

WoW, modded apk, I wonder why I didn't search for that as well in this forum.
Much thanks to you.
BTW: though my purpose has been served, still, out of curiosity, can you explain briefly, what is TWRP & what's the difference between root with TWRP & without TWRP in a simple manner?
