Deleted the System Partition. Help me - Sony Xperia XA Questions & Answers

Hi,
I'm new here. I followed the root guide and successfully rooted my Xperia XA Ultra [F3212]. Unfortunately, while trying out TWRP, I deleted system partition without backing up. Now my xperia doesn't have any OS. I have searched for custom roms but found none. Is there any way I can restore to original OS ? Any kind of help will be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Hi, you just need to reflash the system partition (or the full firmware) in flashmode with Flashtool.

[Q] Miro, root accesswithout custom ROM ?

Hi,
I just received Sony Xperia Miro. I know it can be unlocked and I can unlock it official way or with the tool. But what after?
Can I just install SuperSU to the original ROM and enjoy root permissions? Or do I have to install Custom ROM ?
I'd prefer to stay original though...

Hi,
You do not have to install a custom rom.
To get root, not just have the superuser app. You need to be root to Xperia Miro, just so you have XM with the root.
To root, use this: http://www.unlockroot.com/download.html
Kind regards,
Jorge Moreira
If I helped press Thanks button.
I know how to unlock my phone. But does unlocking mean I will have Read/Write permissions to \System partition within standard ROM?

No. You need root xperia miro to acess Read/Write permissions to \System partition within standard ROM and others!
Unlock sim card or unlock bootloaderit is another thing entirely different.

[Q] How install Generic D2306 Firmware

Hello again D:<
Another question (u_u. I've never had a Xperia smartphone before, so :c).
I don't know about how install the Generic Xperia M2 4.4.2 Firmware, well, I know something, like use Flashtool for mount the FTF file into the phone. But, about the TA Backup?.
I'm kinda unpredictable, so, summarizing everything... Could you please give a tutorial about those steps that I must follow to install the 4.4.2 Generic Firmware for Xperia D2306?
Thanks for everything.
Regards!

Thanks, so, I suppose will work fine the TA Backup from that link. I'll check it.
But, my Info Service from Bootloader allow or not says this: "Bootloader unlock allowed: No", so basing on that assumption, I don't think that Bootloader can be unlocked. So, I have the question about is it extremely necessary has the bootloader unlocked for flash the 4.4.2 Generic KitKat D2306 Model with Flashtool :c.
Thanks
You can flash ftf with locked bootloader.
Sent from my D2303
But be careful, they only did kernel to D2303/D2305.

But, the kernel is only used for people who use ClockWorkMod Recovery for install ROM or Root with Unlocked Bootloader. I don't try to install ROM (CyanogenMod, that is based on D2303 model), neither Root with Unlocked Bootloader ('Cause I can't unlock bootloader). I'm gonna use Flashtool, and other comments says nothing about Kernel and ClockWorkMod Recovery.
Thanks either way :3.

Rooting locked bootloader

Hello! I have an Xperia M2 and I want to root it. As far as my phone is branded and the bootloader is locked, I can't downgrade to JB (4.3) because I can't find the FTF for Orange RO. I tried all the methods listed on how to root locked bootloader but without succes. Can someone guide me somehow? Android without root is useless for me, thanks in advance!

Not sure how it works with branded phones, but I would try this nonetheless:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-m2/help/qa-rooting-locked-bootloader-ota-method-t2999665
use the attached kernel (it's for M2). If it gets flashed you are all setup. Just be sure to have downloaded and updated first your phone to its latest FTF. From the downloaded FTF you can flash back its original kernel after the rooting.
Thanks for reply!

I tried but rootkitxperia is not working.. Says waiting for device or the thing with "daemon started", no effect, can you help me? Kernel had been flashed and it is bootlooping.

So does that mean that you could flash JB kernel? In that case your phone can be rooted with that method. Just make it sure you follow the guide step by step. If rootkitXperia/adb isn't working make it sure that adb debug is enabled in the phone and that you didn't wipe the data while flashing the kernel.
Now I don't remember well, but I think that other people had issues with rootkitXperia. So they used another rootkit. Don't ask me which one. You'll have better chance to get help asking it in the thread.

you should be perfectly fine to flash with the default settings however if you want to reset user data which usually is needed if you want to reset your device or downgrade firmware then you would need to tick "userdata" but for upgrading it isnt needed.

Since TWRP is not official for Xz2c, you will need to rely on custom builds, or build your own. Only one I know of for O is here - https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410963190603893744 - by @MartinX3. It's for a different build, but I think you should be able to update build without wiping data, and be OK. He also has a corresponding ftf here -

What's the FTF? I've been reading the forums and am still unsure as to how to root the phone. I have unlocked the bootloader.
Thanks Levone1

Ftf is the flashing file that contains all of the information and files to flash a stock rom on your phone.
To root, just flash the ftf, and then follow the instructions in MartinX3's recovery thread here - https://forum.xda-developers.com/xp...recovery-twrp-3-2-2-0-touch-recovery-t3821597.
To flash the ftf, you need to use Flashtool by Androxyde or Newflasher. They each have their own threads with instructions / support.
If you use Flashtool, you'll need this - https://forum.xda-developers.com/xp.../flashtool-android-pie-52-x-fsc-file-t3896454

You really should read up on the process since bricking a handset is really easy, and your questions show a lack of understanding. TWRP is not a ROM, TWRP is a RECOVERY. Your phone has a bootloader, a recovery and a ROM (the operating system). You can only change operating systems (a different ROM or a rooted ROM) by changing the recovery which enables flashing ROMs, and you can only change the recovery by unlocking the bootloader. Screwing up any of those steps can brick a handset.
XDA is chock full of information and the poster above gave you directions for several helpful threads. Read these carefully and most of your questions will be answered.

Flashtool / Newflasher will put stock rom on your phone, (make it like factory). Everything else is explained in MartinX3's thread.
