I'm currently trying to think of small business ideas. Anyway, I was wondering would owning a small store in a strip mall or actual mall that sells cell phone cases, tablet cases, batteries, chargers, headphones and such be profitable? When I lived in St. Louis there was an actual shop in the mall that sold cases, screen protectors, batteries, chargers and such and they had brand name stuff like Spigen, Otterbox and such (authorized retailer). Not the cheap 4 dollar type cases from Amazon or that overpriced garbage places like Cellairis sell. Their prices were also cheaper than the cell providers and best buy as well.
Also if not a store front what about selling them at a large flea market? We got a couple large flea markers in my area that you can rent space by the month for around $300.

Just received my new Krusell leather case today. Don't know why I bothered with the silly included one or purchased a Belkin which stunk - although the box said XDA 2 it was really only made for the XDA. The XDA 2 fitted but to get access to the phone buttons and headphone jack and volume, slider and camera I had to get a leather shop to make some small alterations.
But because there was nothing holding it in at the top it after the case leather loosened up a bit the entire XDA 2 slipped out and made contact with the road. Took out an unsightly chunk.
The Krusell case fits perfectly - no mods necessary, offers excellent protection (already dropped it and no damage) and has lots of little holders for notes, plastic and SD cards (x2). And it looks very stylish too. See their website.
By the way Belkin Oz still haven't replied to any of my complaints - absolutely useless product and customer service.
Does the Krussell have that annoying snap closure like most of the others? I wish EB would make a magnetic case for the II...
I can vouch for the Krusell range, I use a Classic Multidapt with my XDAII and it's superb, excellent fit, you can use the touch screen through the protective cover and they have even fitted a velcro flap to the rear so you can access the camera whilst it's in its case.
anyone know the best place to get one of these cases in the UK?
Strangely eBay is the best and cheapest source, there are a number of dealers elling them at competitive prices, see here.
I've bought from PDA Addons and Fonejunkie_Dot_Com before on eBay with no problems and speedy delivery.
as ever. a wealth of knowledge. cheers Griffog.
The velcro release to help the XDA swing away from the case to use the camera is a bit awkward but nonetheless a very welcome feature compared to other cases. i just gor really tired of carrying a wallet and my PDA. Came close to leaving one of them behind at the pub or cafe because my mind was elsewhere.
They have a PDA Addons in Oz too. They weren't terribly helpful. They just said that they didn't stock the product in Oz but that I could order it from their UK business. After completing the math to convert our exchange rate for delivery, post and pack and of course some import duty it would have cost me almost twice what I eventually bought it for.
I emailed the Managing Director of Krusell direct to ask for a Distributor in Oz and he said I could contact Beyond Holdings www.beyond-holdings.com They ordered it after I sent them an email and a week later it arrived on my doorstep for the princely sum of A$56 (delivered).
I was so impressed I went to my local Telstra corporate dealer in Perth and they will be ordering several for stock. They've sold a few dozen XDA 2's in the last couple of months. Suddenly become very popular here!! (Communications Plus is my dealer)
I ordered from this seller and couldn't be happier. Its the best case available for the Epic imo.
You can buy it now for $8+shipping or do what I did and use Auctionsniper. I picked mine up for $7 shipped. Sprint stores sell them for $19.99

I personally have that case, its absolute horse ****. The tabs on the case snap off or wear down. The back rubber area is held on by cheap adhesive, and starts to peel off. I've had this case for 2 months and its falling apart. Theres a reason why its so cheap, its because its garbage.
these are definitely not otterbox cases.
It looks like this: http://www.igear360.com/2010/09/01/review-sprint-protective-cover-czs6842r-for-the-samsung-epic-4g/
Which as stated above is not an otterbox.
I have one too. The case itself is alright, nothing fantastic. Good deal for $8
It makes the phone a helluva lot bigger (to be expected), but it does stop my screen from wobbling, so that's a huge plus.
I'd also like to point out that it isn't Otterbox.

The case being sold in those auctions is the same as the one on the Sprint website, take a look and compare.
So happen to run across this deal... Looks like legitimate Samsung S-View covers for $20 ($19.99) free shipping. That isn't as good a price as the AT&T store price where I got mine for $10 but this includes all colors. AT&T charged extra for white and red, and didn't even offer black. This deal appears to have all the colors available.
I'm going to skip this one, since I already got my orange, yes orange version. Would have liked black though. :crying:
The linked product sold by Rakuten is from a third-party seller, and I've seen many reports of vendors selling "genuine" products that really aren't. (Sometimes knock-offs are okay, but if that's the case, then I've seen cheaper "genuine" Samsung S4 S-View Flip covers from Amazon third-party vendors for less than this.) The product that AT&T sells/sold is a deal because it's certain to be the genuine product.

Yeah I don't know if it is legitimate or not, but if you don't trust it (BTW Rakuten does offer a Guarantee that "Buyers should receive Marketplace items in the condition that they were listed.") you can still get the AT&T deal I originally posted here but looks like there are only 3 colors left.
Is it just me or is this for everyone, but 3 out of 3 Verizon stores in my area don't have a single case for this phone, neither does best buy.. I live in Mankato, MN. I just find that really strange.. I hate not having any protection for my phone.. just ordered an otterbox on eBay. hopefully I don't break the phone before hand, ha
Hi all,
I have a friend travellling in the US as we speak and I would like him to pick up the stand for my future Pixel 3 phone.
Does anyone knows if there are brick and mortar stores selling it directly in the Miami area? I was thinking about Verizon ones but it is not clear from their web site if they have stocks to sell to their physical customers.
Thanks in advance,
I went to Bestbuy.com and changed "my store" to Miami, FL then searched for the Pixel Stand. Said it was available today at the stores in Miami Beach, Tropicaire, Aventura, Pembroke Pines, etc.
Just so everyone is aware I purchased one from Verizon and my Pixel 3 has the Speck Presidio grip case on it and it fits on the stand but if even a light wind comes by it could make the phone fall off the stand. Its cool and charges great but just be careful about the case you buy. Anything thicker than Speck Presidio it will not fit.
