Huawei Health lost data record after rebooting - Honor 8 Questions & Answers

Is this normal that the step records disappear after rebooting? I just start using the Health app, and hope someone can clarify this. Thanks.

Then that is strange to me. I did have inserted a new SIM card (no card in use before). Could this be the reason why it reset the data? I just rebooted the phone again, it seems working now.

Battery troubles in YU Yunicorn.

I have been using YU Yunicorn for the past 1 year. It was great untill one day the battery % kept dropping instantly to 0. I had my phone flashed at the service center and it was normal again. But from the past 2 months the battery wouldn't charge after 88% , I had my phone flashed again the charging issue was solved but I noticed the battery % was dropping abruptly at certain percentages.
I think that it is a software related problem but I need someone to confirm it.
Thank you.

What happpens If I Restart or Turn Off My Phone While a Update Is Being Downloaded?

Let's say my phone was downloading Android 10 in the background... I didn't know, and for some reason wanted to reboot or turn the phone off.
Will the download resume afterwards or will I lose the update permanently?

It will resume, but maybe not instantly. Never experienced this, make sure however your phone doesn`t reboot/turn-off during the installation of an update.

You're welcome
It should be fine even if you restart in the middle of the update. We have A/B partitioning so it should just boot to the current slot again if the update didn't finish correctly.
I wouldn't wanna try it myself though But that's how it's intended to work afaik.

downgraded p40 pro now stuck on rebooting from homescreen

downgraded p40 pro using hiproxy now stuck on rebooting from homescreen every 20 seconds.
i want to upgrade to another firmware but how would it be possible if the download/update doesnt finish and disconnects.
I suspect you flashed a wrong LGRPx base for your device variant.

Yes it is. From my point of view service firmware do the job. I have personally contacted service engineer of Huawei service center. If in case service firmware not flash properly that means one of partition is damaged and we must replace main board which was done by me on my P30 Pro. Don't loose hope last option if you are in warranty period then go to service center because Huawei devices are easily brick.:crying:
Thanks

I don't think that the motherboard would have to be changed immediately, it is necessary to try all the possibilities, try the flash via the already mentioned usb key

i took it to Huawei service center and they changed the motherboard (under warranty) in 6 hours and returned my P40 pro. .. this is the only solution if you have installed wrong OS via Hisuit proxy ..

12.0.3 is not the latest V12.0.4.0.QJKMIXM is the latest android 10. And now V12.2.1.0.RJKMIXM android 11
try to update.
Otherwise you can flash it directly with miflash but you have to unlock the bootloadeer.
the problem is that I can not install it, both because manually from the phone it says that it cannot verify the rom I downloaded via zip, and through my flash, because to unlock it the bootload requires 160 hours. Now I have another 6 days before I can return, so I don't know what to do

In this case, either wait the time to unlock or return the phone to the seller.
you can try:create a folder at the root, rename it to "downloaded_rom" and put the zip inside. try update.
download zip here https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/lmi/stable/V12.0.4.0.QJKMIXM/

It is possible, but why write "upgraded to miui 12, the phone just reboots randomly" because this parameter does not turn off by itself.

You could have specified it and when you deactivate this parameter an alert message indicates "possible unstable system" and what is your problem? unstable system.
