If you'd like to change your device the first step is rooting. There are a lot of tutorials out there, just google it or search on the forums. When you are rooted and have unlocked the bootloader, you can flash your (custom) rom. The easiest method is probably to install rom manager then first flash CWM recovery, then select and download your rom and flash it. Once you have your new rom and a new kernel you can overclock your device.
For further instructions, just GOOGLE IT and search on the forums.
If anything said here is incorrect please correct me, but I think this is basically it.

I just flashed a custom rom on my Huawei Ascend Y511 and I forgot to make a backup on my original rom.
I made a backup on the original rom using the system backup, but when I flashed a new custom rom, I can't restore those messages/contacts/call log, etc. I found the Huawei Backup APK on the SD Card, but it says it wont install on my Device. I also found the backup files such as bookmark.db, calendar.db, sms.db, contact.db, calllog.db . How can I restore those if I am using a iOS7 rom.

My guess is the app requires the original software image to work/install... So it won't do you any good on some custom roms, aside from possibly ones that are just stock with a few changes. And all your backup files surely rely on the app.

There are different versions of the y511. Need the rest of your model information to look.

I already found the stock rom
I found a y511 u30 stock rom but I couldn't flash it using CWM. I tried using SP Flash tool but it is not reading my device. Can you help me on this? Thanks

I have a Wammy ttan 4 software that the company gave it to me, But It requires sp flash tool to Install the firmware. As it goes, SP flash tool is done without the battery and wammy titan 4 is non removable battery. I would request the team to Actually convery the Scatter file or the firmware into flashable zip as the phone already has a cwm installed as recovery...

Hey so I recently got my Stark Groove 7W-L stuck on a bootloop and I need the stock firmware in order to flash it back to normal.
I had made 2 img backups using Rashr but I can't use those img files in LiveSuit.
So if anyone has the stock firmware for Stark Groove 7W-L or has that tablet please upload the stock firmware I really need to fix it.
