I have used mediamonkey to sync the m3u playlists I have in my windows PC to my previous Samsung device without any issues. I've tried to use the same programme to sync to the new Honor 8. The programme did sync the music files to the SD card. The playlists are in a playlist folder in the sd card. The Huawei music app finds all the music files, but does not recognize any playlist. Do you know how to sync an m3u playlist? Or which playlist format are supported by the music app?
Thanks!
Any luck

Hi Have you had any luck getting an answer to your question?
Hi,
1. Use winamp on your PC and make the playlist you wish.
2.Save it m3u and m3u8 . One of them must work.
3. copy them to internal card, on Playlist Folder. Of cou.
rse you must have ALL THE SONGS on your phone. External card , Music Folder it is ok.
4 Open Monkey Music. Let it work few seconds . After that search playlists on Monkey Music
5. Have fun and do not forget to thanks.

Hi all,
I'm trying to create or to copy my playlist from the computer to my Magician, but I couldn't! I don't know how to do it.
If I copy the .WPL from my PC to Magician, it doesn't open. When I'm using the Pocket Microsoft Media Player 10, my library have a lists of Playlists, but it's always empty and I don't know how to create one.
Can anyone help me please?
The playlists hold a definitive list of where a file is stored. If you have the stuff in "my music" then the files will be in c:\Documents And Settins\ (Username)\My Documents\My Music, and as such all files in the playlist will be listed in this location, and as this location does not exist in the device, it cannot find the files. You also need to copy the actual music files across, not just the wma files (Music files are mp3, wma, etc.)
If you want to use the device as an MP3 player, you should really get a storage card to store the music on.

I think you got me wrong. I already have a Storage Card and about 100 WMA files. The Library on MP is OK, but I have no Customized Playlists. That's what I want.
Got it?
Thanks!
Ok as to making playlists in Pocket Windows Media Player, i have no idea. i just had a look at my universal and i cant see the option.
Hoiwever, in the program that i use instead of WMP (Pocket music from pocketmind.com), you can make, view and edit playlist easily, plus it has a nice today screen plugin.
so one can not make new playlists in windows media player
The Pocket PC version of Windows Media Player does not allow you to create or edit playlists. But there is a freeware program for it!

hy,
gives an program where can create an htc audiomanager playlist
not with the htc audiomanager i have many of 100 mp3 ringtones of my trion
and many mp3 files in different folders..
The AudioManger mixed both.. and a playlist to create with the manager is
impossible..
greets tk
I manage my Files with Media Player 11 on the PC and sync with the Storage Card of my PPC.
U can choose wich Files and Playlist should be synced.
U will see the playlists and files in the Media Player on PPC, and also in the HTC Audiomanager.
i have no windows on my desktop pc, iam using linux,
i send the mp3 files direct to the storage card, without syncing,
and the audiomanager search the complete pda, he cannot read m3u playlist.
the windows media player mixed the files too... not an different.. to the htc..
i think i must create self the playlist on my desktop pc and send them to the pda..
greets tk
It reads playlist in /Application Data/HTC/Audiomanager/playlist
The playlist file has not extention.
Make a playlist with some program, delete extention and try.
I try the reverse operation, and work.
Playlist Manager
Try this playlist manager to create play list and play with media player. Its freely available from freewarepocketpc.net.
thanks.. for this file
I wonder if such thing exists.. because its really uncomfortable to do it through phone..
I haven't used it in a while, but I'm sure Winamp does that for you.
Most music apps should work with m3u playlists. I don't know if the stock app can but all music players from market that I tried could.
I usually add my music on my phone's SD card with a m3u playlist file (generated by Winamp) in every music folder. I use Winamp on my phone to listen to music. You can try to make a m3u playlist and see if your stock player can see/play it.
Hi,
Every time I copy music files (.mp3, etc) from my computer to the internal storage of the Huawei Mate 7, the Music player can't find any of the music files. I tried transferring to the device's Music folder and Audio folder to no avail -- the Music Player still can't find them. Manually tracking it in the file folder reveals all music files are stored though. But the Music player app keeps on saying "0 music files".
Am I just missing something or do I need to sync it first? Or do I need to use the Huawei Desktop Suite software so the music player recognizes all relevant files?
Thanks

Have you try with another player like PowerAmp or Neutron ? Normally in preferences you can specify in which folder your music is stored.

Thank you sir, I downloaded PowerAmp & Neutron and both were able to automatically track the music files. I wonder why the native music player (or even Google Play Music) doesn't do that automatically.
Hello everyone!
I am looking for a Music app for my Galaxy S6. I have been researching for a very long time now, and still haven't found the solution, so I thought I'd try getting help from XDA.
-I want to be able add music to a folder on my PC and have that folder wirelessly synchronized with my phone's music folder for offline listening.
-I want to have a desktop version of the app that I can use to manage playlists on my PC and have the playlists wirelessly synchronized with my phone too.
I have tried Google Play Music but it seems to have trouble when there are subfolders or when a certain file is corrupted. It ends up not uploading all my music.
Does anyone have any recommendations for me?
Poweramp

I looked into it, but I found that it didn't have a desktop version that I could use to manage my playlists on PC, and I can't wirelessly synchronize either

sync not available
Hey, half a year ago, I asked myself the same question and I finally found the perfect Player for my and your needs: Google play music. There is also a program for your Desktop which syncs automatically whenever u add music to specific folders. The new Songs are shown on recently added in the app and u can add these Songs to playlists and listen to them offline. If u add Songs on another device to your playlists, they will be downloaded automatically on every device.
Have fun!
Ps: The playlists can be saved on your sd card on your phone. Whenever you delete a playlist on your sd card, it will stillstill be available online to be downloaded. Simple as that, it's like Spotify for your own library
