The same with mine G900F model. I recently noticed that proximity sensor is not working, when making a call. Then i realised that no other sensors are working too, accelometer, gyroscope, light sensor etc. I tried installing newest lollipop original ROM. Still the same. Can anyone please help? I tried to google for the answer but to no joy. It seems that noone else had such problem.

Hi as the title says I'm on three in UK I had to send two faulty s6 back,they were on 5.1.1 this third is working great but stuck on 5.0,2 anybody else in same boat??cheers for any replies

maybe they pulled the update

Looks that way maybe to fix it fingers crossed won't be long

You could download it and flash manually via Odin...

no don't worry, you don't if you use the official rom.
Knox will be ok, i've just done with the two lollipop update. i'm in uk too

fingerprint doesn't work and disappear from setting

yes you wont be able to use fingerprint scaner on LDU and also after update you wont be able to charge more than 70%
if you want to use full potential of you LDU refer to this thread and flash G920F rom on your phone:good::good:

Camera after downgrade to 6.0.1 doesnt work

Hello, first of all, sorry for my english. Im from Germany!
I have a problem with my Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930F. I downgraded the Android Version from 7.0 to 6.01. I need the 6.0.1 for some reasons. My Problem is, that the camera doesnt work.
I tried some possible solutions, but not one of the solutions worked for me. I tried also different versions of the 6.0.1, but its still the same problem.
If i open the camera app, i become the message: Camera failed!
With the 7.0 Nougat Version the camera works fine.
I hope that somedy can help me.

Did you factory reset after downgrade?
Did you flash all 4 sections of the ROM during downgrade?

Yes, i flashed all 4 Sections of the ROM and i did a factory reset. I tried also a Custom ROM, but it didnt help me.

I hope somebody has a Solution for me!

Give it a a rom or a Custom rom downgrade to 6.0.1 that Not Change anything on the Cam? I Need a quick Solution Please!!!!

same thing is happening with my s7. came new with nougat. i don't the reason but on nougat camera works find not on 6. Maybe some one can help. Thanks

Looks like mine doesn't match up.
I have seen someone root etc... to get around this but still not the solution i want.
Anyways to downgrade the camera firmware if this is even the cause to the camera not working?

But it's not perfect I konw...Since i've upgrade my S7 on nougat because the sound in speaker mode has problems on marshmallow (it's random but I watched it on all s7)

Im sure mine drain faster than yours... Well the option is to swap the ba3 with one built for S7 Edge as I've read some comment about it working fine

No, it only work for galaxy s6 not s6 edge......the battery position for s6 edge is totally different from s7 edge. I wish I could stop this battery from draining fast.

No, their battery connectors are not the same, for now, no other samsung battery work for s6 edge.

if this doesnt work on the s6 edge, then this is posted in the wrong section. this is the "Galaxy S6 EGDE Android Development" section. So if it doesnt work on the edge, it needs to get moved

So this WILL work on the edge? Does it work on the 925T (T-Mobile?)
Is the battery drain THAT significant? I know when I simply rooted my wife's S7, it had significant battery drain and lagged like no other. Has anyone tried using a kernel editor and limiting the processor?

I actually use NexusOS Android Pie ROM on my 925F it works perfectly and the only known bug is the Bluetooth audio call not working. Battery life is same as always not impressive and I have to live with it.
I don't know if it's again XDA to put the ROM download link here since the thread is about RR but you can google for it.

Pls I need help, I fashed my phone and it stock in twrp, I wipe with twrp and downloaded the original sm -G925f firmware with the exact model number, etc from Sam mobile.com.....now it stocked on Samsung logo on it on start up..... pls any idea is welcome

Get into the recovery and do a reset to factory settings.

I hope by now you were able to fix your device? You should download the original software for you device with Samsung smart switch for PC, it will restore your device to the original firmware and recovery then you can try flashing TWRP for your device again using Odin. And from there any custom recovery

On my g925f it just randomly reboots
