huawei Magic Fingerprint gestures to navigate. So far swipe from left and right on our sensor works as back button. Home and recents doesn't work for now.
Why doesn't control center being displayed if we have navigation keys? This is due to lower dpi from our side it works if u set androidsystem with 640 dpi but everything else will be a totall mess. So to activate navigation keys

You can but you must install it as system app huawei has added some sort of block method which prevents us from installing 3rd party launchers (no root)
This is also happening with dupe phone caller and contacts.

It should do yes since I included all files for wifi and camera for every honor 8 (since it's included in stock) so yes it should work.

Oh yup I forgot about that [emoji14] well probably need some easier way to configure brightness etc and something is blocking launches from being installed (invalid package) this I don't know why only solution for now is to install it as a system app.
Well for daily usage it's stable but has its hard way of browsing trough lol since it seems to break some functions as we lower the density. such as notification center cannot be used if you enable navigation bar and the buttont to show it doesn't work. I haven't encountered any real issues nor haven't tried everything fully tbh but majority of features should be working

Yes I did. I used the one posted in the OP. I'm wondering if I got a bad download of the firmware though. I'm going to download the file once more and give it another run. :fingers-crossed:

The first time I tried it I didn't. I just flashed it over B162, didn't work. Second time I did factory reset but when I was about to reboot got the message about "no OS installed".

Finally got it to work. Had to reset phone and unlock it again, etc... Didn't wipe anything before flashing it nor after, but when it was booting up it started bootlooping and had to go to recovery and make a factory reset. Booting up went fine after that. Now I have to learn some mandarin!

Hi , what about the color accuracy on this ROM is it any better ? compared to stock i heard it had a bluish tint and color inaccuracy i'm really liking this phone and really wanna get it but i just discovered this color thing idk if i should worry about it or not ! , Thanks for you and everyone for your efforts developing to this device !!

Thought I would post the first bug reported after updating my AT&T G2 to 4.4.2 KK and hope someone can help as well as other bugs people find can post here? Here it goes...
I downloaded and ran the KitKat update and when I rebooted my phone I will get the following message in the screenshot below. I googled the error message and tried the fix posted in the past... disable/enable download in apps, reset app preferences... nothing fixed it. So I decided to backup my photos and wipe the phone and no more error message.
But I only installed a few apps... Textra, Yahoo Mail, WhatsApp, SwiftKey Pro & Beta. I disabled all the bloatware in Apps. Then I customized my app drawer by grouping apps in a couple of folders. Then I rebooted and got the message!!
Tried going backwards like removing folders in app drawer and reset app prefs again and still there.Ugh, I'm gonna have to rewipe because it bothers me but wanted to report it and if anyone gets this too and find a fix, please pass it along.

Darn it... It's SwiftKey! The moment I installed it and tested ok and rebooted... Error message. Uninstalled it and it's gone. Darn cause I'm not a fan of stock keyboard.

In the jelly bean stock firmware, it was possible to set different brightness levels with auto brightness. On d80020c (kitkat), the brightness slider doesn't seem to do anything at all if auto is selected.

I already uninstalled mine but wondering if you keep it installed and just change the default keyboard from swiftkey to the stock lg keyboard and reboot if the error message goes away. In that way dont need to uninstall until they push an update.

thats a major leap ahead ! the best thing to do is a full factory reset after the update by backing up everything first. since i havent got the update as yet im just browsing through all the threads.Im PISSED OFF D802 internatinoal user ! cant believe career model got the update before the international. Lg is upto utter crap

I had swiftkey installed before the update and I haven't seen any issues with swiftkey after the update.

Interesting. When I'm in a well lit room, the slider does work (when auto-brightness is enabled.) When I'm in a dark room, it does nothing whatsoever. Oh well, it's still useful.
So any improvement in Auto Brightness and GPS ????

Be sure you are using the latest SwiftKey BETA. That works on KK. Also includes the new emoji's. Pretty cool!

The Beta should work on the 4.4.2 udpate. PRO version does not.
I actually had both installed before after the update and I think I had Beta set when I rediscovered the error because I prefer the number row at top and also the ice theme. Someone on another thread mentioned if you change the default keyboard off the swiftkey to, say, LG keyboard and reboot the message goes away. So I may reinstall it and do that while waiting for an update for swiftkey.

Pretty sure it means make sure you're using the most recent stable recovery. Check with twrp or cwm before flashing. Sometimes outdated versions give off errors and can't flash.

Finally got this installed and it is a very nice ROM IMHO. Very much stock aosp there isn't a ton of feature like some of the other aosp ROMs but I really like the smoothness this ROM has to offer and everything works only bug I have is the speaker phone bug is present when in a call if I put on speaker phone I have to reboot to even get back in the dialer app.

Here are the logcats I promised from G+. This is on a clean flash, barebones. Nothing other then TItanium Backup, the loggers, and my favorite file manager added.
Logcat0 is the first time opening PA OTA. It times out and gives ROM not found error, then update not found error.
Logcat1 is the second time opening it, but this time it sees I could use the gapps. It does allow to download as well, yesterday it wouldn't. May have been my location at work (edit: see data issue below).
Logcat2 is me calling the phone, answering and checking all is well. Then I switch to speaker phone and all seems well. Then switch back to and it stays on speaker with no microphone action. I hang up, close the app. Reopen the dialer and its just a white screen. Then it turns black. Close the dialer and reopen with the same issue. Yesterday I thought it rebooted after. Today I confirmed it reboots shortly after. Couldn't pull a kmsg since there's no "/process/last_kmsg" file/location.
Also, after awhile data drops out and won't come back no matter what. Logcat3 is data turned off, then turned back on. This is after it being on and loosing it totally. Seen some USB state changed for this log, yet nothing was ever plugged in.
I also randomly get this simcard issue window shown but haven't been able to grab it.

Thanks for pulling these logs for the devs I am experiencing the same issues not only on this ROM but every Aosp ROM for us sprint users (the data issue). Hopefully they can solve the issues other than that this ROM is rock solid I'm not running it at this moment but much appreciated that you took the logs.

I dont use screen lock but i will test to see if it is a bug.

You are right, FC. I noticed another bug with auto brightness. And also cant remove battery percentage. Get FC everytime. Still testing though...

Just wipe your device, flash rom, flash stock modified kernel, reboot..... A little buggy but calls do indeed work.
Just installed and working just fine! But there is a problem in the notification panel. If I get a notification, it kind of hids under the Quick Connect bar area-only half the notification bar shows. Kind of annoying but it is very early
Working great!!! Thank you very much! Full wipe, flash rom then flash stock kernel. All is working well. Will flash stock modified kernel (last download link) in a few. Just getting a feel for the phone now. Thanks again!

NFC force closes, auto brightness not working, notification pull down overlaps, blue filter not working , but again forgivable right now. Very smooth ROM. Very grateful. All will be fixed in due time. Patience
So is this the actual Note 7 ROM or is it the GraceUX? They are a little different, right?

If you install Good Lock, that fixes the notification pull down overlap issue.
You can find Good Lock @ apkmirror.com. It's made specifically for Samsung Marshmallow ROM's.

My own Unofficial Changelog since the one Razer provided was lacking
Added 8.1 features such as PiP, smart text, new power menu and switch off/reboot animation
Added Updated Dialer (looks more like the Pixel Dialer now)
Added "Colour" under "Display" to tune the display between "Natural" "Boosted" and "Vivid"
Fixed Crashing Issue with Netflix and Google Play Movies
Updated Dolby Atmos Application and equaliser
If you have any issues/bugs please post with a detailed description of it and if it can be replicated. Also upload any bug reports to your Google Drive and share the link here so the developers can take a look.
How to Take a Bug report.
Activate Developer Settings by going to Settings>System>about phone and tap the build number repeatedly.
Once done go back once and you should see "Developer Options"
In here press "Take Bug Report" and then "Full Report"
Wait a bit and you'll see a notification, press it and upload to Google Drive
Once in Google Drive get the link for the .zip file and make sure the sharing settings are changed to "anyone can edit" and then share the direct link to the file here.
I know this sounds like a lot but it's very easy and really helps the developers.

Already installed (on a de-branded phone, btw). It looks like the screen is about 10% brighter than it was before the update, but I may be wrong. Has anyone else noticed the same?

Someone on the Razer forums said the same thing.
If someone could test something for me I would be very greatful but you have to follow these steps exactly and let me know the outcome. The Theme isn't the cause it's just easier to see.
go to System settings>display>colours and change the colour scheme to "Vivid"
Change your theme to something vibrant like flat green or crimson from the razer theme store
Change the theme on Gboard to something bright like red/green
open Google chrome and tap the field box so the keyboard appears
now swipe the quick toggles all the way down with no notifications making sure the keyboard is still up
Now when you look at your quick toggles is the colour switching from vivid to normal by itself? been trying to find the cause of this on my unit but was a bit hard with hardly anyone on the dev preview.
It will be interesting to see if the Three variant has the update delayed. I am still struggling with debranding mine but if the update does roll out with the SIM free devices I will stop trying.

Damn, it worked for me, I live outside the US ans had no update available, after the vpn connection from US I was offered the update at first try. Try other servers in US maybe. They sais rollout is in wave. Maybe not all of the US is being served.

Stock recovery should be able to flash it, it's the same file your device would download.

Fully fresh install DP 1 and then the OTA over it??? (I'm using the DP 1, but I rooted and messed with some files already, I want the fully fresh experience).

In my case, I already instal DP1 .. and then roll back to nougat version via fastboot .. then relock the bootloader.
And then update via adb sideload the OTA update

All right then.

Then relock the bootloader.
And then ADB Sideload the OTA.
I heard some users had problems downgrading from the DP1 to N, you had any issue???

im using oxygenos 5.1.6 with unlock bootloader and official twrp installed. but substratum doesn't work on mine. already grant the root access on the magisk manager, enabled the theme then restart system ui. stil nothing . and told me to reboot my devices. and still nothing. maybe you guys have the same problem with me. thxx (sorry for bad english). btw the theme that u tried to use it "navigate navbar".
It works for me. You have to change overlay states even after rebooting.

Most things you can theme without a problem, some overlays doesn't work on oxygen .

You need to build & update not enable, then reboot and enable
U have to install themes, then reboot and then enable and possible reboot again

oneplus6 with oos.5.1.6 definitely had issue with substratum theme especially when you update the system, it throws "system ui has stopped".
However, in combination "domination", "ozone", "pitch black" theme I finally got almost fully functional black theme with white text and white icons. And it runs on oos.5.1.6.
But what I'm highly upset about is that customizable black theme must be already be available on pure Android or at least on oem oneplus6.
Shame on you Oneplus once again for poor software development department as well as Google.
there's other people who got the same problem with me which can't cant change navbar icon with substratum. @ArolWright on reddit explained this :
OnePlus uses a proprietary navbar on the 5T instead of the AOSP one. Hence, themes need to be made from scratch with the 5T navbar in mind.

This is true for the OnePlus 6 too, yeah, but I'm afraid that's not the problem here. Since the March security patch, Google introduced certain overlay-related restrictions for both Android 8.1 and Android P, heavily hindering Substratum development. It's a security thing, so all Android builds with the March security patch and up will have this issue. While I don't have a OnePlus 6 myself, I have a OnePlus 5T on OxygenOS 5.1.2 (May security patch), and I haven't been able to apply themes properly on my side, not even those made for OOS like Ozone.
I made a Substratum theme fixing an issue with swipe gestures on the AOSP 8.1 lockscreen (and made an article about it on the XDA portal, here), and received several emails of people complaining about it not working following the March security update.
So I'm fairly certain this is the issue here, and it would require a fix from Google's side (or at least OnePlus', if they revert the relevant commits). Anyone who is more knowledgeable than me in this area is more than welcome to correct me if I'm wrong.

You didn't say that navbar is not theming, so my navbar won't theming too but only with some layers, have you tried another theme/navbar? For me for example, s8 navbar isn't working neither on oneplus 5 and 6

yes i did. navigate, n navbar, navbars. so far just that. imma keep trying till got at least one. or just disable it and use a gestures. lol:laugh:
