I have been wanting to root my device for the longest and still have not gotten any help but I found out my device was vulnerable to the CVE-2015-7888 exploit. Yes I am aware of everything that comes with root and all that so I ask. Is there a root method for the CVE-2015-7888 exploit? Any help would be appreciated!

Please read the forums this has been discussed many times at length since prior to the release of the update.
If you have taken the update you can no longer root without unlocking the device.
The release notes for the update state that the root vulnerability has been patched.
You need to pay the $25 for the sunshine unlock app.
Thank you will do

Thanks for offering but you have to know this is going to be dealing with modified kernels and running scripts straight from your pc. I wont be responsible if any addresses are incorrect or your phone doesnt boot up. Please if you are sure to do this DM me and i can send some untested pytyon scripts.
Anyone still working on this?
I want to test this script...
Kingo root seems to root it but it has problems in doing so. When i use kingo root it says ROOT succeeded but the apps that are supposed to ask for root access dont ask. i have super su intsalled and that is also faulty, and this root method doenst let me edit system files Also root doesnt survive a reboot. thought id let you guys know my expierence with the droid mini.
i just got an htc 10 that has the bootloader unlocked and s off so ill be happy to run anything you need me to test out
Hello, I am trying to root my Alcatel A466BG. Eventually I'd like to install Kali Nethunter. I've tried all the root software (Framaroot, Kingo ROOT, Super SU) but none have worked. My phone is really cheap so I think that's the problem. Does anyone know how I can root my device? After that, what about bootloader, unlock etc...? Can anyone give me instructions for my Alacatel? Thanks
Hi, me again...Can anyone help? I was told xda is the place to look for help on rooting my phone. Please reply. Thanks
A quick search shows that there are a lot of questions about how to unlock the bootloader and root this device. But, not a single success story... Sorry.
I'm running Nougat with the latest security patches. I was just curious if there was any way to obtain root now. I used to have an N920V and had no luck ever finding a root for that. I remember a while back using the Dirtycow exploit on an unrelated phone that I thought was unrootable and I had root till I restarted my device and bricked it completely. I don't think I'm really brave enough to attempt this on my s6, but I was just wondering if there was any way in the world to completely gain root access and unlock the bootloader. I'd love to get a custom rom on this and get it running like new. Thanks for reading.
