Hi, everyone! I'm planning to add the IR blaster support to my app. I have already tested the prototype on Galaxy S4 and decided to buy another (cheap) phone with IR blaster for further testing and development. So, I bought LG G2 mini. Unfortunately, it turns out the IR blaster on LG G2 mini is not accessible via standard Android API, only via LG proprietary API. I updated LG G2 mini to Android 5.0.2, but still no luck! IR blaster it is not the main feature of my application, so I don't have a desire to support proprietary IR blaster APIs. So, my question is: does anyone know which Android phones with IR blaster support standard Android IR API? Here is the list of devices with IR blaster from Wikipedia:

But Wikipedia does not say anything about Android IR blaster API support. It turns out that LG G2 mini does not support standard Android API, what about other phones/tablets? Does anyone have such information?
