Hi,
for this project I'm working on I would like to connect for instance a wii controller via android to my pc. I know there is software to connect a wii controller to android over bluetooth, but is it also possible to 'channel' this to your pc over wifi, and use it for gaming? In this way it could bridge longer distances. I know it's complicated
thanks
If you buy a bluetooth usb adapter, you can just connect your wii remote to your pc straight away
Hey
Is it possible to connect a Playstation 3 controller to a Android device via Bluetooth and play all the emulators like that?
If so, how?
Thanks.

Definitely not, unless someone comes out with a custom driver/app. the PS3 controller doesn't use a generic bluetooth protocol, it has it's own Sony one. To even get a ps3 controller to work over bluetooth on a PC requires both a custom application running on the PC as well as custom bluetooth drivers in order to allow your bluetooth adapter to talk to the PS3 controller. With the custom drivers loaded the ps3 controller is the only thing the bluetooth adapter will talk to.
Someone would have to do essentially the same thing for android: custom application as well as custom bluetooth drivers
Furthermore, to pair a PS3 controller to a computer or PS3 via bluetooth you must be able to connect it over USB first. You would need an Android device capable of USB host mode which are few and far between.
Has anyone tried any kind of bluetooth joystick with their Android device? Any recommendations?
The Wii mote works .. search the market for the app. Make sure your phone or rom supports HID

Why isn't it possible on Android?
It even works without extra applications on Maemo: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=66704 http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=41693
At least Honeycomb 3.1 should be able to detect it or is there another problem?
OK, not technically a question about android, I'm just trying to connect an android compatible device to a PC via bluetooth.
I have an ipega 9021 controller for android (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41O1ixqkGGL._SY300_.jpg), and was wondering if it's possible connecting it to PC properly.
I can connect the controller, but it doesn't reconnect automatically, so I have to delete the device and re-connect it every time.
Maybe I'm doing it wrong? I set it to gamepad mode (X + home), search for devices on PC, when the device is discovered, I got to properties and check the "drivers for keyboard, mice, etc (hid) and only then connect (otherwise I get an error). The controller then works great, but upon disconnecting I have to do the process again.
The controller works fine when i connect it with bluetooth to the tablet and with cable. But i cant use consol mode on the tablet connected to tv with hdmi and it says there missing a controller. Still able to play games and stuff with the controller on the tablet. And it wont connect through the shield accessories app, and i think thats the problem. Someone have any thought/ideas how to fix this issue?
Yes, read in the Nvidia Tablet forums. The new controller does not work with the current OS. You have to wait for the update.
Hello everyone.
I'm facing a weird problem with the controller Ipega 9068, on windows 10.
After i link it with my computer, via either bluetooth or usb cable i can only play so far one game with this controller, all the other games (which of course support gamepad controller) don't work, i even tried to use x360ce and joytokey, but still it doesn't work.
Games doesn't recognize it.
When connected via usb the controller is recognized as "ps(r) gamepad".
Is that maybe the source of the problem?
Thanks in advance.
Have the same problem man.... no solution at all.....trying to send an e-mail to ipega...if i receive a answer that fixes our problems i'll post it in here all right?
It's a great controller that get's recognized with usb cable but it doesnt work in any game that i tested.
It's a shame.
