[Completed] Requesting aid in finding a phone - XDA Assist

Are there any phones that will allow me to plug in 2 micro SD cards? The Saygus V2 was supposed to, but that was vaporware. The s8 is rumored to do so, but there is little credence to it. Are there perhaps any phones with 1x dedicated micro SD slot, 1x dedicated SIM slot, and 1x hybrid slot that can serve as a second of either? I have heard of dual Sim phones with dedicated micro SD slots. Do any of them have a hybrid slot for the second SIM? I'd like a phone that can host 2x 256gb micro SDs. Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated.
I'm currently using a Note 4 with an adapter for full size SD cards and a 512gb sd. It's dying though. Ideally I'd like to find a set up that will net me the same capacity but without fussing with the adapter.

Greetings and welcome to assist. I have seen some dual sim chinese phones that have a dedicated sd card slot as well and most dual sim phones can use the second sim slot as a sdcard but I don't know of any that will defintely do it

Micro SDHC Card and Dual Sim Adapter Queries

Hi all! I'm thinking of replacing my stock Tosh 8GB Micro SDHC Card with a 16GB one. What Class would you all suggest to me? 6? 10? I'd like to mainly watch some movies, play games, take pics etc.
In addition I'm thinking of getting a Dual Sim adapter so I can have my Voice Call SIM and my 3G B.Band SIM on the same phone. What do you all suggest? Should I opt for the non-cut SIM one? (will it fit under the back cover?) or the one where the SIM cards are cut to a smaller size and inserted into a holder?

If money was no object, Kingston offer a class 10 16gb card, thats the fastest card available, if you can find one, a class 6 card would be nice, and a fair bit cheaper, after that, class 2 and class 4 are available.
Hi there..thanks for the tip..reg the Kingston I was thinking exactly the same thing...I can get my hands on it here for about for about EUROS 85:-..isnt cheap but i hear it is quite outstanding in performance!

As long as you think the performance is worth it
there's been a change to the way the classification system (aparently)
what was once a 4 is now a 2
i COULD BE WELL WRONG ON THIS
but isn't the class just the write speed, not the read speed?
(ie all files play at the same speed, but the higher class writes the data there faster)
i've put 10gb of music on a <€30 16gb & no probs what so ever.......

Sort of right, the class is somewhat irrelavent, because it relates to streamed HD content, like a HD video recorder or soemthing, so it relates to the minimum transfer rate the card can support for video recording

Hello mate ,
get the sandisk mobile ultra 16 or 32 gb. A friend of mine has recently purchased the kingston class 10 and it is absolute rubbish not worth the £80 price tag.

go for sim cut process if you can get a sim replacement easily in case of failure.

[Q] 32GB exernal slot on new phone?

Most new phones seem to lack external microSD card slots. I would like to get pointers to current or future phones that support external 32GB microSD cards (or higher).
I currently own an ancient Touch Pro 2, but won't bother upgrading until I can use my 32GB microSD card with a new phone.
Do any of you have any nice suggestions to current or future phones that support external microSD cards?

Everything higher would be SDxc and thus not compatible with our device
I'm using a class 4 card and feel it's sufficient. But since SD cards are fairly cheap in most countries nowadays, I'd choose a class 10 card. They just read and write way quicker (and can subsequently also be applied to enhance your RAM ).

512 gb SD card from unknown brand

It is looking pretty similar to Samsung micro SD http://www.ebay.com/itm/152018922599 but it is way cheaper and has more capacity.
Just wondering what you think is the quality of this card gonna be or is it better to by original Samsung 128gb card instead?

microSD on 2nd nano SIM Slot?

No sadly the 2s only supports dual slim, no micro SD card. However 128gb or even 64gb are enough space for most people
