3D Android urinating on Apple Logo​Just wanted to let you guys know a friend sent me this. I tried googling the bootanimation up. Cant seem to find it so wanted to show you guys! I thought it was pretty funny! I dont know who made this bootanimation.

Instructions
Root Explorer method:
1. Put the bootanimation.zip the on your SD card
2. Open Root Explorer and copy bootanimation.zip to /system/media. This will replace the existing boot animation
3. Reboot your phone

I had to rename my existing boot animation to sanim_old.zip and then rename your bootanimation.zip to sanim.zip for it to work.
Some others may encounter the same thing.

yes u can delete the old one and replace it or move old one onto ur sdcard, if not enough space still look in ur system apps apps that u dont need. but becarfull of what u are removing

im not sure why it woldnt work... to get ur old bootanimation on, unzip the rom u flashed and go to system/media. then copy the bootanimation to ur phone and put it in ur system/app. reboot

I was having problems getting the file to copy to /system/media. i discovered that when using root explorer you need to click "mount r/w". you can then copy the file. delete the old one, reboot, and enjoy. Thats what i did, hope this helps anyone having issues.

The apps rely on the Sony Framework too, I've tried to run them in AOKP and I got Force closes, Either way I'm in love with the Album, Messaging and the way widgets are managed, maybe I Would have kept the launcher if the Menu option did what it was meant to lol.

1st off...wow...u aren't such a rocket scientist if u just flashed anything that was posted without knowing all details.lol. But it's ok. I'll help u so u don't form a thread instead of searching for solution. If your phone is bootlooping & If you didn't make a nandroid backup before flashing this theme then You need to download flashtool then flash a stock firmware for xperia play. If u want to use this theme u need unlocked bootloader to flash a "custom" ICS Rom in CWM as there is no "official Play ICS(4.0.x) firmware to flash with flashtool, only GB FW's. To remove DoomKernel or any other non-stock kernel u just flash the firmware(.ftf file) and u have the kernel inside. Or use fastboot to flash a stock one appropriate for your present FW.Go look this up u will find it everywhere.

In my first post without edit, i gave dirrect link to arc link, in that link you able to read the requirement for the firmware.
After i know it's only for ics, i choose to edit post "ics only" n post link downloads.
Don't blame me for that.

2nd-init allows us to boot our custom init scripts which wasn't a easy job on a locked booloader.

Locked bootloader? Now what the heck is it?
Motorola usually locks its phones bootloader which in simple language means it doesn't allow customization. Here is where 2nd-init comes to play, this little awesome app kicks in right after the Bootloader and allows the XT to load a different, non-Stock Android.
With this, you can also install a Custom Recovery, which runs from the Internal Memory, and is not ran from the Recovery Partition (remember: locked, not accessible) what does this means? That even screwing up your phone, deleting all your stuff, or screwing /system partition the phone can still get into Recovery, be recognized by RSD Lite in Bootloader Mode and be flashed with a Stock ROM and it will come back to live normally.
Thanks to this locked Bootloader, is really, really hard to Brick your XT.

First ICJ V3, then getting 2.6.53.11-perf stable, then cyanogenmod.

It is possible to have custom kernel with 2nd-boot. But I don't have time to look at the sources and compile a kernel. Sorry neither I have a PC to do so.

Hello world ,
since about 2 or 3 weeks there is the Samsung Galaxy S4 I9506 out.
And currently there is no CWM, Root Method or Custom Rom out for this Device.
I decided to do something for this device with my moderate experiance.

The thing is that I / we need a cwm to flash this
So I setup Android Development Environment on Ubuntu like matt95 explained in hes thread :[GUIDE] Setup Android Development Environment on Ubuntu 13.04
with some modification like :
Other packages - adb/fastboot :
$ sudo apt-get install lib32z1 lib32ncurses5 lib32bz2-1.0 lib32stdc++6
atleast installed the repo part successfully.

After following the [TUTORIAL] How To Build CWM From Source by Llior
I managed to extraced the boot.img from my phone wich you can check here --> I9506_FILES_FOR_CWM <--- (build.prob and recovery.img are pulled out)
And now im out of my experiance and cant do anything else... can not edit the BoardConfig.mk and and and..... i tried somethings but always get errors .... investigated now 1 week for that ..... but i go now crazy and really need help from a DEV to finfish this CWM for this Device.

Okay guys i found a solution how we can currently root our Samsung Galaxy S4 I9506...... its not the professional way but it works so we still need for future a correctly compiled CWM for the I9506.
But before i release this method i want to be sure that everthing works correctly and want do some tests.

i own a E330 Korean version, rooted. It had been tested that E330 can flash the rom of 9506.
Really looking forward that you guys will be able to develop custom roms for 9506.

Well one guy tested allready http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=46804990#post46804990
Maybe he did something wrong or it fails cause of different radios and internal storage of E330S cause the rest is same specification.
He was able to flashback a stock E330S Firmware.
So if someone can make tests just who knows what hes doing feel free and report.
I can do only for I9506 and currently i can say the root method from E330S is working on I9506 but this weekend ill explain the details

currently there is only 4.2.2 firmware for I9506 international version launched on october

Great, do you please care also to post a suggestion to what stock firmware to use then?
At the moment I have the one from Deutsche Telekom and looking at Sammobile firmware downloads I am not sure what to get.

i had also from Telekom germany but only 2 days cause of extra bloathware of them... currently i use the nee = Nordic Countrys Open Firmware without any provider apps ... only the samsung apps but with root and Titanium Backup now there is no problem
but of course i will explain full detailed what i am done and tested .... the post will be i think on saturday midnight when my wife and kids are in bed

My I9506 from T-Mobile Germany is on the way to me. I need root to transfer apps and setings with Titanium from my I9000 on CM 10.1.2 (4.2.2)....

after using this in flashfire i got an error and now phone wont boot into os. it goes to the bootup screen but goes black from there. im looking for a zip file to go back to stock.

What was the error? I have been flashing this all day with no error. Did you have the latest FlashFire beta? Also, did you verify the download by checking the MD5?
There is no zip to go back to stock you need to use Odin here: [Stock Firmware] Official Stock Firmware for ALL Galaxy S6 Variants [Download]

Yeah, and make sure you got latest Flash Fire. If you do see the error again please post a pic of it. Also Check MD5. Although AFH is VERY reliable, I have had network issues at my house that screw up files. IDS / Snort / SAM / Dans Gaurdian, etc etc.. those sort of things choke on big files. I learned that the recent updates are killing my downloads. However that would be prolly not be your issue unless you are running an advanced Linux firewall. But you get the idea of what I am saying.

Its very slow... I am uploading one now to AFH. But I am about to crash for the night so... It wont get posted until tomorrow. Just let it go I guess... It will download. Thats where I got it from.

I know he didn't state it in the OP, but he did say the build is a Galaxy S6 build, and it's posted in a Galaxy S6 thread, so I am gonna say no its not... why... very easy sir...
You have additional programming in your build for the Edge stuff. While very close, certain key files are diff... hope that helps...Someone with a Edge needs to pull thier stuff to make the rom believe they are close... but you would for sure lose some functionality
