I just dropped the dead phone at Cell Phone Repair according to Huawei Service Repair Centers http://www.service-center-locator.com/huawei/huawei-service-center.htm
They will do diagnostic on phone to see if they can bring it back on.
Let's wait and see what they can do.
Fixed?
Was the repair shop able to fix it? I have a Mate 8, similar situation, in Canada.
Thanks

Is there a way of adding it to network mode select?
I know if you flash nxt10 with a L29 you get every single option possible in network mode. Which is what I was looking for. Is there a way of forcing that.
Altering oeminfo?
Thanks
what model of phone you have ?
NXT10
On my old LG G2 I use an app called 4G Switcher from the market, if I want to force any network mode, including 4G...maybe that might help you also?
Same problem Here, I have a NXT-L09, exist a method to force LTE in Mate 8 ?
Same problem, i have no idea

Does anyone know what is the name of the pedometer/ step-counter/ fitness app that comes with stock.
I remember it from when I first got the phone (i got the AL10 that was loaded with International firmware), but since then I have been flashing different roms, and have not come accross it again.
I have searched high and low, but came with no results.

1) This app is extracted from ROMs or no ? I ask to know - how i can check it latest version ?
2) Previously i have this app with possibility store in hw cloud, but your version is later, but dont have possibility to store data in cloud. As i know chinising app have full rights/options, but their want to do this in EU ROMs (angry).
May be you knows something more and tell us ?
Hi,
I'm considering buying Honor 8 and I need to know what steps will be needed for flashing manufacturer's stock ROM instead of carrier's branded one? Is it required unlocked bootloader or is there any more simple method?
There is no stock rom currently available.
If you still use HUAWEI's official ROM, no need to unlock your bootloader. Just wait for HUAWEI releases the files.
But so far there is no files yet avaliable for Honor 8.
Stock ROM here.
This is for the FRD-L09 model only.

Aha, nice sharing. Although I couldn't find any ROM in EMUI website yet, for stock ROM, better stick with official website.

Really! I thought EMUI 5.1 is Android 7.1.x
---------- Post added at 09:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:53 PM ----------
We don't need to worry about that, we don't even need that, because beta testing of a new EMUI versions normally starts right after releasing a new Huawei phone. And Mate 10 is not so far away. More 2-3 months. Hopefully we will start getting EMUI 6.
