I am using my AT&T lg v10 on straight talk and cannot figure out how to update it I have tried lg up and lg bridge it sees my phone but something about can't check version or something so it won't update it any help us appreciated

My phone is on 2.2.2 but when I search for an update it says I am on the latest. Obviously Gingerbread is out now but for whatever reason I can't update. How do I fix this?
Your carrier provides ota updates if and when they can be bothered to do it. Use the kdz method like everyone else to do it yourself.

You can't update the phone using the phone's inbuilt update tool for some random reason. You must you the LG mobile suite on a pc to update your phone to gingerbread. You might as well wait because ice cream sandwich is coming out in a few months.

Has anyone figure how to root there T-Mobile lg g2 d801 with kit Kat 4.4.2 yet? Without downgrading. Everyday I check the forum, hoping to see a subject that says "Finally we're able to root our device"

So I have my VZW LG g2 and everything is fine and I don't like the Verizon apps and Verizon os on my LG.can I get the stock lolipop rom of the D802 model somehow? And it also shows unknown sim icon and data connection doesn't work,neither hotspot.I hate these Verizon limitations. Thanks
