I just got a Zenpad z380m and want to root. I have been searching all afternoon and haven't been able to find a root tool for z380m with 6.0.
Has anyone with Z380M confirmed root? or does anyone know any tool that could achieve root on this device?
Really appreciate the help as I don't really like the default system.

Greetings and welcome to assist. I can not find any confirmed method of root for your device but you could try kingroot or framroot. If those don't work you could try this method

There is a really good forum happening at whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=2106509&p=27 you will find anything you want I had my tablet rooted in about 15 mins

Hello, this is herna from XDA Assist.
I´ve searched for your device along XDA and it does not seems to be a very famous tablet in terms of development. We can´t provide you any root mode, since the developers are who get this on work, and not XDA itselfs.
You could try to get root using the Kingroot application, which seems to be very famous on getting root without recovery.
I wish you to get root on your tablet, and in case you don´t, try to Google about the device, and maybe you will have luck and get one root mode for it.

Same boat as you.
I tried Framaroot and Kingoroot and neither rooted it.
Also, Asus support will not give an unlock bootloader code.
Sure would love to be able to though, primarily because I want to change its TTL, however I cannot write to System.

Would like to root my device as well. It runs great on the Google Fi data only sim...just saying..
