I just want to ask and help on my GAlaxy s7 sm-930FD globe locked.
I just flash a TWRP 3.0.2 using flashify but i already installed a TWRP 3.0.0.
and all of a sudden my device now is bricked .....
is there any way to fix my phone without the official rom and flash using odin...
please help

I'm not an expert on this area, but you can download the latest FD rom here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G930FD/
It's always a good idea to make sure you have the stock ROM for your device before making mods.

Not sure what's the reason behind it. No ROM's were available for the FD version until this lot. I guess it might take a short while for all ROM's to be loaded up.
You could try to use a g930f instead a g930fd from sammobile, they say that are just the same un many threads
Install the Latest BTU for G930F. I have installed it, works perfectly for G930FD. Full dual sim functionality available in single sim rom.

It's possible if you unlock the bootloader.
As L09 is the single SIM version of the Mate 9, does it get full dual SIM functionality with the L29 firmware?

You can flash with a dual SIM capable firmware but the second slot will not be usable. Your device only has one IMEI assigned, not two.

Again, your L09 device only has one IMEI assigned from factory, not two. Flashing L29 will still not allow you to use slot #2 as your device was never assigned a second IMEI to begin with, it will simply show as non existent (all zeros), ie unusable.

If someone fix this, I am in too This single sim sucks... Another question is, slot used at L09 is meant only for one sim and memory card. There is no way how to place another sim. From HW point of view, there may be not HW interface for 2nd sim, but I doubt that Huawei would produce two types of boards...
I checked the SIM tray on my MHA-L09 and I don't see how one would put 2 SIMs there ?? Not possible.

pity is, that they didn't assign imei for second slot. I was able to make dualsim from P8 lite and Honor 7, but they have 2nd imei despite both bought as single sim.
Please refrain from any chat and discussion on changing the IMEI, even for restoration purposes. It is illegal and we do not allow discussion of it on XDA.

Hi, you can buy the L29 slot that is designed for dual sim. Have you try to change the firmware to L29?

Once again, you can convert L09 to L29, you can buy a dual SIM tray, but the second SIM slot will NOT work as it doesn't have any IMEI assigned. It's a dead end.
The only "fix" is buying a dual SIM model next time.

because correctly Matt says that we can't talk about problem of IMEI and so on, we will find a workaround to solve the problem of change an L09 to an L29 but we need a specific slot...

Spoofing an IMEI is illegal, reverse engineering the board is unfeasible. You're beating a dead horse.

Hello.
Suspecting that the hardware of the L09 and L29 would be the same, I wanted to test if it would work as dualsim a L09 with a Rom of L29. So I did the rebranding by installing the L29C636. I had bought a tray porta for dualsim, I got 2 cards and the 2 works perfectly, even though the second IMEI is all zeros. One of the cards uses the vodafone network and the other one of movistar, I have tried the 2 like Sim1 and Sim2, and they work without distinction.

Yes that's right! I'm using the DUOS variant with 2 SIM cards and a MicroSD card at the same time.

If you're welling to use 955fd firmware is easy to install but keep in mind your 955f is capable of supporting one sim only so you can't have 2 sims i installed.

Oh, so maybe there is only a restriction area and the Telcel mobile operator reestricted the second sim
Jsut remove the csc from that carrier... reflash the device with another firmware.. im on N970FXXU1ASHE from europe and i'm on america.
How i can remove the CSC, my device is not root and bootloader unlocked too.?
