CHANGELOG
.
**IMPORTANT** This is my first attempt at a deb/flo build. I maintain several devices without issue, but our Nougat build has never been tested on this device. Thus, while our ROM is at v2.0 and quite stable on many devices, if you download this, you are the first users to test it!
If (when) you post bug reports, please be sure to supply logs so they can be used to help our devs diagnose the issue.
Note that I am a simple builder, and freely admit I am not smart enough to be a developer. I have a direct line to the devs though and we'll squash any bugs as best we can as soon as we can.

Really nice. No issues so far. (flo)
gApps Nano, others too big for System.

Thanks man!

Thank you very much! Running perfectly on my DEB!

Are Netflix and Goggle Movies working on this ROM? Looks like most have only one or the other working and Netflix downloads are broken across the board. They download but won't play.

So far, so good. It's nice this up and running on my Nexus 7 again. Running it with Quanta kernel and it seems to be pretty stable.

Probably broken. As you can see in the title it's based on lineage so any or all bugs for this device present in that are present here too.

Just played the Minion short and Gravity ok with GP Movies. With Netflix Rick and Morty OK. Couldn't watch a downloaded episode of another TV show, but streaming was OK. May be a little hit and miss, or just streaming.

I have used this rom (flo) with no problems so far. I used gapps nano. My only issue is that the lock screen is stuck on portrait no matter what I do, but it is not that big of a deal to me. Nice work on this!

I'm having an issue that was fixed in version 2.0 in the main branch of CrDroid, but seemingly didn't make it into this one, which is that the "Live Display" tile disappears from Quick Settings after every reboot and I have to manually add it back every time.

Strange, I didn't change anything when building. Maybe that was added after I built this one. Do you know if the commit date was after the date on the build?

It's this one, but it was committed 12 days ago.

Is this a something I have to worry about??

Sorry, I'm not sure then. Maybe it hadn't been approved? When we release 2.1 (no ETA, sorry) check then. Or if you feel like being a guinea pig I can build now for you to test, but it will have changed even we haven't tested yet.

Nope, happens all the time. No idea why the log won't work, but it doesn't affect anything.

FYI I just confirmed it's still there on the most recent source. I'm bringing it up to the devs.
Edit - That commit was for Live Display, not Ambient Display, which is why the latter is still there. They're looking into it.

Hi there, the ROM is running smoothly on my Nexus 7 LTE. However I noticed when I try to access the Battery saver and performance, it will bring me back to the homes screen and shows me LineageOS Settings keep stopping. Can you look into it? Thank you

AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!
This is an unofficial build, so do not complain to the AICP team about anything that may not work correctly.

Don't disable Heads-Up. You wont be able to answer phone calls otherwise.
Bluetooth audio has issues
External SDCard will not work as "internal" storage
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Nougat. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Don't do it if you don't know it
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
Updating to a newer version of THIS rom ("dirty" flash)
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash rom zip (no need to re-flash gapps or wipe anything)
- Reboot
If you have any issues after doing a "dirty" flash, do a clean install before reporting any problems.
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows gr8nole's CM source.

Mine did the same thing ..right after the flash it was stuck in portrait ... then after a while it did switch to landscape and is now stuck there.. I think it has something to do with the Google Now Launcher 1.3 large .. It has no rotation settings for the launcher like the Google Now Launcher has on my phone ..
T310 using FULL opengapps ..
Tried the trebuchet launcher and it does similar things .. but it does have a rotation setting for the launcher .. but doesnt seem to work either .. otherwise this rom is great ! Thanks gr8nole

Things improve charging is bit good as per cm13, battery life can't say but feel so its good.... but @gr8nole would like to know what makes AICP different from cm13. just curious to know.. Thanks....

Just added a Features list to the OP. I do admit that I copied it from the i9300 thread, but the list should be mostly accurate.

That's fine... thanks.. Just wanted to know what makes it different... rolled back to cm13. as the issues are same.. I used it for few hours... battery is not stable as cm13 last build. charging kicks to full in few seconds, regardless of showing 5 hours untill full. but rest was good.
ROM was just awesome but it had some problems such as:
Battery is draining fast
Rotation not working
But good work Gr8nole

Due to changes in Android 6.0.
Every app using new api should be rewritten. There is major change in writing to extSD method.

To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed!
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong....
Going from rooted stock. (lollipop). OG Shield without OTA update to Marshmallow.
1) backed up
2) unlocked bootloader
3) TWRP 3.0.2.0-2 installed and working fine.
4) did not choose read only to /system
5) wiped and even formatted (but it doesn't seem to look like that sticked when I browse via the recovery)
6) Installed aicp's image
7) installed google play
8) rebooted, just get the nvidia screen.
When I go back into the tablet and mount via my PC, it shows that there wasn't anything installed.
Help!
Thanks

That's the culprit. You need the MM bootloader!
Does this ROM work with LTE?
Very stable so far. Using as daily drivers for three days. No random reboots like recent RR/Bliss builds. Great work.
Potential bug? Lock screen font goes crazy big at times.
I've gotta say this! Switched from Stock to this and man, oh man it's fast! So far I haven't gotten any lag, Stock was lagging too much for me after the tablet was "sleeping" for a while and the RAM management is not so great in Stock. (OTA 1.3). I think this one is even faster than Ressurection Remix!
Unfortunately, I'm getting Youtube lags, the video stutters even at 480p. I've attached a logcat, not sure if it helps. For some reason, Youtube is using the omx.google.h264.decoder, shouldn't it be using the nvidia one?

I asked one of the other custom ROM devs to check this for me and it looks like a more widespread problem. At least here and Carbon. I can't check CM atm, but I expect every recent custom ROM to have the same issue since they're all based from the same place. I'll do some looking when I get the time, but that might be a few day unfortunately.

AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Android Ice Cold Project that started on HTC Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until lollipop, ROM has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CyanogenMod when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.

- You tell...
[/COLOR]
ROMs should contain everything you need to enjoy Marshmallow. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, Google Apps, flash it, and go!
Install latest TWRP/CWM/Philz recovery on your device.
Make a backup of your current ROM.
Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik.
Flash ROM.zip and Googleapps.zip.
Reboot system and setup!
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed!
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

No problem here.
Camera and battery icon are upstream CM issues. CM14 is still very much a work in progress. Legacy camera support is still being hashed out. I have a patch that together with some repopicks will get something out of the camera, but not recording or anything useful. I asked about the battery icon once, but never got a response. I presume it's a known issue. Another issue with shieldtablet specifically is lack of widevine support currently, so no Netflix and such yet.
Side note: The title states this is 7.0, but the various descriptions reference M/6.0.
3 random reboots now very hot plug and play hotspot takes a while to connect few bugs dev other than that niceee!!!??
Nice ROM, smooth and fast. Bugs: camera not working, live display not working. I don't think it's a bug, maybe it can enabled somewhere, but I cannot open second window choose screen by holding recents button.
Not sure if it's a bug or not, but I can't play WMV videos while using any Custom ROM using HW decoder in MX Player nor in Gallery. Stock does play them though...
Great job! Everything that I need to work is working except my microphone. Thanks for your hard work.

Took me a while to find it. Keyboard switching in 7 is different. Look for either a keyboard icon in the lower right corner, or press and hold the space bar.
Sorry am I the only one that's getting random reboots???

Also I believe u need vendor for December, nice ROM, lots of options for customization
Stuck in bootloop on first and second install attempt. Followed OP flashing instructions. Didn't get an incompatible vendor message but just for verification sake what is the vendor for this ROM? And what Gapps did anyone else use? I used open gapps micro/mini
I haven't had a bootloop in a Loooong time and never on the 5X since I got it last summer. Pride is kinda hurt right now.

I first tried N4F26l, but got the message about being the wrong vendor. So I went with NMF26F and no longer have the message.
I may be looking over it, but where is night mode? I'm assuming it's the same as Night Light on Pixel.
Btw, nice ROM. I really don't know much of anything about developing, but do love to switch ROMs every now and then. Thanks.

Maybe a corrupt rom download. I had a few problems with open Gapps, switched to dynamic Gapps and haven't had any problems.

I'm also using dynamic gapps.
I'm really digging this ROM. Kudos to the developers. It's super fast and stable, and I love that it's AOSP based but has tons of features

Awesome stable build
Awesome ROM, stable, installed it yesterday and so far no bugs. Good customization options, in pair with Resurrection Remix, but way better power management — I've got almost 5 hours of screen on time without using 45% of the battery! That was light using, mostly browsing, and I use Clarity kernel, but I wasn't being able to get 5 hours of SoT on RR with all the 100%, Clarity and Greenify. I will keep using this ROM on the next days to see how it behaves in day to day usage, but by now, thank you, the ROM is awesome.
Top notch ROM as expected with crdroid C génial
Hi team,
Could you please help me to locate it.
1. I could not find the kill app back button ( back button )
2. Double tap to wake up is not working( it was not in lineage also)
3. Unable to customize the home button which I use to switch off the screen (double click) We know moto e has issue with power button. So we use shortcuts to screen off). This was in lineage.
4. Using dual sim and network carrier is only one is visible. Either of them.
Thanks for such a wonderful work.

Is it fixed in latest build?

This ROM is same as the previous build just fixed some bugs. There was wi-fi drop which is fixed in this build and most probably shareit will also work properly.
