hello , i have the lg g stylo ls770 locked in sprint and i wanna unlock it to international use but i cant get the hidden menu to put the unlock code their
so i'am asking about any possbile way to do with this phone like changing the model or the imei or flash anyone can help me please ??????
i have the same problem, i called sprint since the phone is already paid, but theyre not very helpful

Is there a way to carrier unlock the Moto G XT1031 on 4.4.4 from BoostMobile? I bought it certified pre-owned and I want to use it on TracFone. I read a few posts on the Internet that say that say unlocking the phone won't work past 1/15/2015... is this still the case on pre-owned devices? Or just for new devices bought after that date?
I'm a huge noob at this. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well you don't carrier unlock cdma phones you flash them to another carrier. As for moto g on any thing else but boost sorry it is a no go. Unless like the lg g2 it is possible to say take a rom from vzw and put it on the boost variant and make it a verizon. The lg g2 sprint can be carrier unlocked by flashing a tmobile rom that has been modded. Found that out here on xda and did it.

Hey guys, i just got my lg g stylo a few days ago and im wanting to unlock the bootloader and root it. Ive been wanting to put cyanogenmod on it and ive done it before on my samsung galaxy nexus but since its a different phone, its a different process. Any help and tips?
LG G Stylo running Android 6.0 on boost mobile.
p.s. i really dont mind if i cant get service after all of this. the phone is deactivated.

Boost/sprint/virginm are all the same LS770. You cannot unlock the bootloader. Only the tmobile/metropcs stylo variants have unlcked bootloader, so NO custom trwp, no roms, no cyanogen. Best you can hope for is flash back with LGup to Lollipop and root. But no roms or recovery, just root
I'm getting the tmobile g stylo (same os etc as boost ) on the 26th and WAS wondering if anyone found a way to add an equalizer besides power amp and rooting and installing a zip in recovery to the g stylo

I have an LG Velvet 5G (LM-G900UM) and I can't find anything specific to this model on any forums. I want to root and install CFW but I don't want to install the wrong one and brick my phone. Basically, everything I find for this phone is for model LM-G900EM, the international model, so I'm guessing that the CFW is compatible with the UM model (Canada/USA) but I want to be sure before taking the risk. So my question is: Does anyone know if CFW for the EM model will work for the UM model?

It seems that u should use Taiwan's SIM to boot and connect to network in TAIWAN, then U can unlock LG velvet 5g..maybe u should try it
