Is it normal for XZ to have its time and date change to January 1970 and 4 hours late/before the current time after restarting the phone? This has been my issue with my phone. It seems I have to connect to the internet in order for the date and time get corrected or return to the current date and time.
Me too. [emoji15]
Sony have had this issue since the z3compact.
I don't know why but Sony are totally sh!T at OTA.
Flaahtool full wipe resolved.
Very annoying indeed.
Turn off pin/pattern/... for boot in security options and date stays. It is a known issue, fix is already on the way according to Sonymobile forum.

Really? So have to use the fingerprint security for the meantime.? Good to know they're looking into this matter.
Just when you boot. Normal screen lock with pattern or pin is fine.

1: In 4.1.2 you can probably use the password reset trick as used to remove VPN screen lock requirements.
2: In 4.x this Xposed module (ew) promises to do that.
3: If all else fails, it's technically possible to patch out the requirement off the Exchange support apk...
My girlfriend has a S6.
From german vodafone. Firmware is newest Vodafone original.
Mine is also a Vodafone S6 but with french XEF firmware. Coi9 it says.
Problem:
I got a BB-8 from Sphero yesterday.
Her phone is connecting to my bb-8.
My Phone cant connect and doesnt find it. So it is not possible to use it with my french fw.
Is there a bluetooth problem with coi9 fw?
If so, then it is only for new Devices...
My galaxy gear watch still works. But it was paired with older fw.
Hope if someone can help.

Hey all,
So I'm running root Magisk and you guys are all probably aware of this issue, I just can't find the solution online at the moment, most articles lead to just awareness of the issue but no solution.
Anyone know how I can start doing OTA updates on my Pixel with Magisk to get around the "Couldn't update -- Installation problem". Obviously it must be working if there are instructions for doing so.
Any help to fix this would be great.

Yikes, what a miss. So basically if I altered any of the system directory like reverting a user app to a system app I'm screwed?
edit: If that's the case, can I revert back to the magisk boot partition while not connected to adb, and just do a reflash of magisk and my phone will reboot properly?
Exactly

No way around that?
Did you manage to figure this out?
If I just sideload the OTA would that work (I'd assume it would get rid of Magisk, but would it causes problems or bootloops etc)?

having anything other than pure stock will cause OTAs to fail. u can manually flash update images or sideload otas through ADB

Would be the first place to look if only that app causes the problem
On all custom Roms I've tried so far (and they've been a few), there's an ongoing problem while using Android Auto connected to the car's built-in display. Basically, if you plug in your phone and start using AA, after a while the bottom bar on the car's display will disappear, and although you can keep driving and AA will keep working, once you stop and unplug the phone from the car, the phone will lock you out and it's screen will start to flicker and go crazy, giving you no other option but to force reboot the phone.

Good to know and where's the fix? This is a pie ROM and aosip is dead, no development going on. Only arrow is supported further.
You know what the fix did exactly or where we can find it for android 10 ROMs?
Sorry, this out of scope for me. Ask palaych.
