The XT1032 should not have any sim lock on it but I'm not sure. Don't know if they can apply this lock directly through the firmware or via the modem.

Hi. Please be more precise, I can see three types of lock :
SIM lock to a given provider : YES if you get it from a phone provider, NO if you get it at Amazon / other retailer
Bootloader lock (can't install custom software) : YES but NO : Motorola provides an official procedure to unlock it, see the FAQ
Can't work on CDMA/AWS networks : YES of course, this a GSM version, buy the AWS version if that's what you want
Cheers

It depends of your carrier, here in colombia by law all the phones must be sim unlocked.

Does this mean that you need to unlock the sim only once? So it resides in an additional storage chip on the device to be more precise?

Hey guys, just wondering if there's a root that doesn't unlock boot loader for 23.0.1.A.5.77 if not, does losing the DRM keys affect the remote play functionality? thanks for any replies in advance!

Awesome thanks ...do you know how? I've been searching for some time
Just look in the dev section. There's a tutorial for downgrading, rooting etc.
EDIT: Sorry it's in general section.

I had find out it myself that, you can DOWNGRADE any firmware TO any firmware, now my phone is fully rooted and runs marshmellow
Sent from my D6503 using XDA-Developers mobile app
how did you manage to downgrade without errors?
No matter what version i downgrade to i lose baseband and get FC's on com.xxxx.phone which results in a boot loop, i then have to use the Companion to repair back to 6.0.1
EDIT
Fixed It, had a sneaky ta file while flashing the .ftf
