Wishing that spigen make a case for this phone

i recently bought this one
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MSYSNFD/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
its garbage. not stiff at all { i have the spigen case on my honor 5x, if you had the spiegen case it was nice and stiff} . and its too thin. no real protection
returned it and bought the other tudia case { the one with a hard shell}. i didnt really like that case on the 5x either but i need something till someone releases a good case.
im looking for a case that actually covers the white sides of the phone { i have the silver 6x}

the other tudia case came today
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NCLFOPC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
the rubber is more stiff and the plastic shell makes it more sturdy. unfortunately it makes it a little bit bulky
than what im used to, especially the back of the phone. im stuck with it till something better comes out

Maybe with the phone within the case. So that people can see what it looks like in real life dude thankss

here are some pics of both cases
the first two are of the tudia with the hard shell and the third is the tudia that is soft shell only{navy}.
i prefer the navy in terms of feel , but its not firm enough.

Thoughts on Spigen cases

I just placed an order for Spigen Neo Hybrid case for my HTC One m9. I was wondering if anyone has experiences with these cases on previous HTC One devices. Also any good recommendations for a tempered glass screen protector would be awesome.
I have the Spigen crystal clear Hybrid on my silver M9 and I love it , But I will be purchasing a more protective case .

I have the Spigen Neo Hybrid Case for my M9.
It fits perfectly and looks awesome on the phone.
it protects the whole back and the sides. In addition it is a bit thicker on the top side (display), so it protects the display too, if you lay down the phone upside down.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was hoping for. Which color case did you get/which color m9 do you have?
I have one on order and had one on my nexus 4. Loved it.

I got the spigen neo hybrid for the m9. Looks fantastic and it does add some protection however I feel like it is not enough for everyday use. I will put this case aside for special occasions and will order a UAG case for everyday use

I ordered mine from Spigens official ebay store it was only $20.99 there instead of $34.99. Their ebay account is named "spigen-inc". I ordered it at 2PM CST yesterday and it was shipped out same day.

Thank you found it and ordered it and its allso shipped, :good:
It's entirely plastic, and the power button doesn't have a special texture like the actual phone.

Got mine through Amazon Prime for $21.00. It's a nice case, but it's temporary until I can get a SEIDO OBEX once they are available.
Could any owners of the neo hybrid chime in on the button stiffness of the case? I find that I'm accidentally hitting the power button pretty frequently without a case.

I have the Neo Hybrid and love the hell out of it. I have the gunmetal M9 with the gunmetal case
The buttons are a bit stiffer but I still find that I hit it anyways. The location will take some time getting used to as I'm coming from the M7. BY FAR, THE BEST CASE I'VE SEEN AND FELT ON A PHONE!
Any other questions, feel free....
I got Spigen Thin Fit off ebay uk for £6.99 + delivery. It fits well and helps stop you hitting the power button by accident when you pick it up.
I have the silver M8 but got the Gunmetal one. It looks pretty good. Small lip on the left and the right. Only good for small drops directly on the back, front and sides, but very minimal.

this case is awesome its bulky and not bulky at the sametime - in fact, this case is just slightly larger than their crystal clear series, and because of the fact that this phone is still only 5", with the slight bulkiness, it actually makes the phone larger in presentation; a very good thing, the metalized buttons has very very good feedback, its easy to press (once applied on correctly) - everything fits just right! even better than their crystal clear series. - i got the black n gold. looks amazing.
@METALLICAM - the reason why you're saying the outer metalized buttons are hard to press is probably because you do not have the outer ring and the rubber case fitted correctly (this took me a few mins to figure out) because when you slap on the ring around it, it feels and looks like its "tight on" but its actually not, simply hard press/pull from the top of the phone, you'll see that the ring starts to slide-in more into the rubber mounts, and do that with the bottom speaker aswell.
I got both the Spigen Neo Hybrid and Strong-Flex cases and love them both. The strong flex is pretty thin and durable and the neo hybrid is good looking and durable also.

A little over rated. No doubt they are built to look really cool, but as far as protection goes it's not the best. Also touch wood it doesn't happen to you, but if you have any problems with it, getting through to their returns department is terrible.
Other than the after sales care, their cases are okay, but would recommend trying other brands, there's plenty available at decent prices

A better case. Soft Gel (Jelly) Hard back reinforcment?

Recently, I bought this case from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0762F2T19/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's fine, but a bit slippery. My old Motorola RAZR M had a case that was very soft silicone with a clip on hard plastic back that protected the phone VERY well over the last 5 years of use. It also didn't slip out of my shirt pocket.
It had a nice fat lip on the front so you could place the phone face down without harming the glass.
See attached photos.
Does this type of case even exist for the PH-1? Even the Tudia case I have in a softer more "grippy" silicone would be better.

I saw that one already. The hard back covers the sides and it's the same material as the Tuda one, so still slippery.

Thnaks for the tip, but still not what I'm looking for. The one for my Razr M (look at the pictures) was a very soft silicone rubber case with a hard plastic "claw" that clamped around the back and a bit of the sides. Worked great.

Rick, I know exactly what type of case you're looking for, as I've been searching all over for one as well. You're not alone. Your photos and description of your Moto case look similar to the Ballistic brand case I had on my Samsung Galaxy S2 that protected it so well, that when I took it off last month after 6 years of daily use, the S2 still appeared brand new. Upgrading from the Galaxy S2 to an Essential PH-1 was quite a jump, and I was hoping to have that same level of protection, but alas I cannot find it either.
Hopefully Ballistic or Tudia will step up eventually and offer bulkier, thicker-built rubber and hard-wrapped cases for the PH-1 for use in more rugged environments. I have the Tudia TAMM case, but it feels too thin and flimsy for any kind of real protection from the types of environments that I work and play in. For now, it is better than nothing.
ApptMtneer,
You are SO correct! My RAZR M still looks new after almost 6 years of daily, in the shirt pocket) use. I really hope that one of these comes out. They tend to be relatively inexpensive as well. I bought two for my RAZR M (just in case!) and still have a brand new on in the packaging.
If you see one, let me know. i will do the same.

Anyone found any good cases for the ZenFone 5?
I bought this one (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B4CKP8J) but it is too small to fit the phone. This one (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BNGL61M) fits and is OK if you like TPU cases (I don't but wanted something quick).
Any good ones out there?
I don't know, on amazon.fr, there are only like 3 cases/cover for this phone... *sic*
I just ordered one to try.
This one is awesome. I have just received it and it's perfect ! It's thin and soft, it makes me think of a friend's iphone case. I purchased it on eBay : https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/392038719463
The one that comes in the box works fine lol.

black and silver ain't a bad color combo imo.
So I have the RhinoShield case for the 5z and I justed wanted to highlight some things on it for folks interested in a more heavy duty case:
- Overall quality is very good, stiff.
- Requires a bit of thought to correctly insert your phone into it initially without unnecessary pressure on the phone frame.
- The material used on th sides is a bit slippery. Not glossy but different.
- The back has appropriately size notches to prevent scratches on the scanner and camera covers.
- I have a Skinomi skin on the front and back for extra stuff that may enter the case overtime to prevent case to phone scratches
Now, I just wish other case makers could catch on and present cases like a LoveMei or LifeProof level of protection.
Anyone have a another case sugestion? Imo rhino is still the best at this moment.
I don't know RhinoShield.
My wife has a Nillkin shell for is ZE620KL, the advantage is that it is made of thin hard plastic with good grip. Before it had the same one for an LG G2, the quality was a little better. On the new one the plastic gets dirty more easily....
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Nil...ltra-thin-mobile-phone-shell/32869953152.html
Im looking for a similar case as the one that came with the phone, but with tactile buttons on the case, instead of a simple cutout which i find annoying on this phone.
Buy this you will never regret

What are the best cases for the red OP6?

Hi all, I bought the red OP6 a couple of weeks ago and have been using the clear case that was included. I have some mixed feelings about it, the positives for me are the raised corners to protect the screen (I just wish they would have done something similar for the camera), all buttons work perfectly and is clear to show off the amazing red color. I just have one negative issue which for me is very annoying, just at the middle in the back it sticks to the phone like if it is wet, which looks very bad, and creates the rainbow effect to the sides. So with this in mind, I am looking for a new case which hopefully doesn't have this issue.
Which would be the most recommended? And if any of you are using them please post some pics, I can´t seem to find any of the red OP6 in a case.
Thanks guys!

I've been using this with my OP6 with carbon fiber back skin. The sides are black and have grips and the back is totally clear and the fit is perfect.

Pretty unclear and confusing as their images show the volume switch on the wrong side Also don't think it would do much in the way of protection.

It's not bad at all. There are cases with higher raised edges but the case is pretty nice and does offer decent protection. The Ringke fusion is also a great option.

There are little nubs on each corner of the Ringke to prevent it from hitting the desk or table when you put it down which eliminates a lot of the scratching. I used mine for a week and don't see any scratches in it. In the second to last photo the Orzly is on the left and Ringke is on the right. The last photos is the Ringke on the phone.
I have the Ringke clear also *I'm kind of a horder with cases lol* and because of the back being such a hard plastic it has grazes all over it. Dunno if its from being in the pocket with something else or whatever really. Also the cut out for the volume notch is totally off placement. I just can't find one that I'm like wow awesome atm. Although the Spigen case is pretty dam good but I have a dbrand skin on and it isn't a clear case unfortunately as you also would like. Would you consider a bumper case like Rhinoshields? I am awaiting mine to try out.

The Rhinoshield looks similar to the Orzly. I'm also a case hoarder and have 7 cases for the OP6. Every time a new one comes out that looks good I buy it. So far the Orzly is my favorite.
i dont think you should use a case on a red oneplus but no doubt the official red case is nice but my most used case if the nylon case which is so damn perfect... looks nice but also adds lots of grip and protection

Would not recommend it. I bought it, and the back doesn't sit close enough to the phone. At the camera cut-out there is about 1-2mm of space between the back of the case and the phone. If u don't have any skin on it you will scratch the back of your phone from all the dust and partials that can get through it.
Recommend these for the RED OP6. I own the first one.
# Good Quality. Fits well.
# Rubberised in and out.
# No room on the inside to cause scratches.
# Transparent Back.
# Decent lip on the front. Not the best raise, but certainly helps when flipping the phone over without having the screen touch the surface. Might be a problem for phone with a tempered glass. Check comments on Amazon for more info.

Thanks for the feedback, I too heard that the scratches in the Ringke came from evryday use and just having it in your pocket, whic is what worries me.
I do want to try the Rhinoshields bumper, I had one in my iPhone and an S7 and really liked them, but I am not sure how it would look since there is only black or white, and I think it takes away from the red phone aesthetics.
The Supcase might be the one, it looks pretty cool, except maybe for the black bumper. If ti were red or clear it would be a total winner.
Anyone has any experience with the Nillkin Nature Series? It looks nice !

getting mine tomorrow! how does it fare? i usually have a military grade case and as an added security, i stick one of those ring things to hold it with finger securely.
But since it has a nylon back, i cant do that, i hope its really protective since i drop my phone alot
i might be getting a clear case in a few weeks, i feel it is cruel to hide this beautiful Red beast.

The case with a good case.

What case do you use for the P30 Pro?
Of course you want the nice back of the phone to be visible.
But you also want protection.
And a built-in option for a magnetic car mount would be great to.
Show here the covers/cases you have found, tried and love (or hate)
I just ordered the Spigen Neo Hybrid. I have used Spigen cases for the last 2 years and the quality is outstanding.

Hi, I too have very good experience with Spigen, as they use thick material in order to protect the lenses on the back side. Never had any problems with their cases on Huawei since my first mate-9 (bought a new one every year, mainly because of the camera and dual-sim ).
Got this one already but havent seen my newly ordered P30pro yet here in Spain:

This is the one Im thinking on buying. Doesn't cover up the colour, magnetic for phone holders and has. Ring so you don't drop it. Looks good?

Stock Silicon Case from Huawei in route from amazon.co.uk.... it's like the iPhone case made by Apple.... Lint and everything tends to stick to it but your hand does as well plus great overall protection... I'm getting the black phone so putting the black case is no big loss... main reason to "bet on black" and not the other crazy colors then worry about sporting a clear after market case or caseless.

It looks nice but I ordered a blue phone so don't want to hide it.
I ordered one of the cheapy magnetic glass ones from ebay. Seems well built etc. but waiting for phone to arrive tomorrow before I make a comment on it.
I ended up getting this one.
Olixar for Huawei P30 Pro Bumper Case - Hard Tough Slim Cover - [Clear Panel] Design for P30 Pro (2019) - Shock Protection - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MNH8FKB
I was going to get one from AliExpress. They looked nice, but we're cheap so probably thin and no protection. Didn't sem right paying a couple bucks for something that is protecting a $1000 phone.
I like this one because you still see the colour and it has good bumper protection if you drop your phone.
I bought the Huawei silicone case, just to have something until I will find a case I really like, and it is standard matte silicone, nice color (I got the blue one), I prefer these matte silicone cases over the glossy plasticky ones, but only as last resort. I paid 15 EUR, which is tiny bit lower than Samsung would charge, which is also nice, but the quality is not as good. Under the power button I can see a thin line where the silicon will slowly tear up, and it has a little bump underneaeth and generally doesn't look and feel very well on the right side.
I just wait for Nilkin air/frosted cases to arrive in my shop, after years of spending money, big money, on cases, I find these cheap Nilkin cases to be the best alternative if there is not a good leather or alcantara OEM alternative. I have both frosted and Air case for my note9, ane the compact size and grip/feel of Frosted cases, and the comfort and design of air cases for 5 damn EUR is unbeatable. I usually also slap a dbrand skin on my phones, don't want to always carry it in a case, but with this huge camera bump on p30p I will likely always have it cased.
I like a case to be not too thick and ruin the shape and feel so until I got my Honor V10 I never used a case but now need one due to risk of child.
Currently I have a semi solid shell and I ordered a similar fro P30P to see how it looks and feels.
I also ordered a couple of different Spiegen cases and one of those open back ones that wraps around the corners.
I'll try them all and return what I don't like.
I don't want to pay €35 for an official Huawei one.
Anyone fancy using skins to cover their P30 Pro? Hit us up.
Spigen for ever! For my latest phone (S9+ and now P30 Pro) I have chosen the Ultra Hybrid Crystal (back in hard plastic and edges in TPU with corners bumpers). With Spigen tempered glass too, the P30 pro is now inside an iron barrel...
Using Spigen Neo Hybrid and i think it is great

Does anyone know of a GOOD case that can double as a stand?

Hi Rizzo!
Take a look at Spigen Slim Armor! It has good protection of the photo lenses and a built in stand. Mine has a number L37CS25934
I have used this for quite many years without any trouble.
