Hi guys,
Can someone please be so kind and upload all factory Huawei EMUI 5 Mate 9 Apps? Like Update Center, Mirror, Browser etc. I've lost some if those and I can't seem to find them.
Thanks a lot :highfive:

To know when are arriving new firmware updates.
the problem is i can't get into the system folder without root, with any other phone i had before it was no problem to get in there without root and copy things from there but the mate 9 doesn't allows it. ?
If you download a full ROM I imagine you could get them all from there.

Oh lord give me strength...
May I ask what even drove you to install TWRP?
Do you know what it does?
Why on earth would you need Google images??
Do you by any chance think you own a nexus/pixel?

It works. It's worked for many people in this situation. But you need to be able to follow the instructions carefully for eRecovery method and correctly set the DNS on your wifi router.

It did work!
But only with eRecovery mode. Follow teh instructions step-by-step. You must be able to change your DNS-Sesstings on your router
Hi, I've been using a LG G6 since my Honor 8 died, but I prefer the EMUI 5 gallery app. Can anyone drop me the apk? Thanks in advance!

Will not work since you need emui framework.
Is there any way to port it over?
Hello,
I had Huawei GR5, there was Swype for Huawei keyboard pre-installed.
I bought a new mobile ( Huawei GR3 2017 ) and found only Gboard !
I thought Swype for Huawei keyboard comes with all Huawei mobiles, Am I wrong ?
If there should be the keyboard, Why I can't find it ?
If the mobile doesn't come with it, Can I take the APK from another Huawei phone ( GR5 ) and it will be compatible with GR3 2017 ?
Gboard is better I also using it

I liked Swype more than Gboard.
My question is, Does the phone really don't come with Swype Keyboard ? Or I'm missing something in the settings or I should do factory reset or something else ?

Hi there, i don't know if every Huawei phone comes with Huawei Swype installed, since that this is my first phone of them, but you could try to install it via APK indeed. You have it, or you need that i upload it here for you?

It got removed for me after updating. This is happening on plenty of users.
it should be by default. if not, a factory reset or settings-apps-3 dots, reset app preference may bring it back again.
or can install from - https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/themes/huawei-swype-apk-t3489898
i just backed up it on EMUI 5- https://mega.nz/#!6FVB0SiR!wZmxHiKIwRsayHITLhLwdarfv-GoGXyRAx1pWe36baE
Hi guys, I'm looking at upgrading from emui 4.1 to nougat. I've been looking around for L29C432B320 and I haven't been able to find it. I'm currently on l29c432b330. Can anyone provide a link or point me in right direction please?

hm normally u could just update straight away, either via system updater (in phone settings), HiCare app or via Huawei HiSuite on PC.

I'm trying to root my M5 but need to get the stock firmware for model SHT-W09 (C567). Does anyone have this image they can upload?
I reached out to Huawei customer service but they weren't helpful.
Thanks,
Rick

Have you installed the Huawei Firmware Finder app? I have the same device as you. HFF shows the update and the full stock firmware for the device and lets you download it from within the app.
No, is this for a PC or one you install on your device?

You install it on the M5. It's free in Play Store. Look for Firmware Finder for Huawei.
Thanks, I downloaded a copy and can now extract the ramdisk image so I can root the tablet

In case you are still looking for the actual stock firmware, I have posted it here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mediapad-m5/how-to/stock-mediapad-m5-8-4-wifi-sht-w09c567-t3827786
Since you only need the ramdisk image, using the other method will be sufficient.
Thanks for posting, it looks like there is a new image available for US tablets (8.0.0167). Have you installed it?

Yes, I installed the stock 156 first, then manually installed 167 because at the time it was not approved for installation. 167 had some touch / scrolling fixes I wanted to take. Been very happy with v 167.
Thanks, is the update process complicated? I'm rooted with Magisk and figure I will have to return to stock recovery, flash update, then go through root process again.
