hi guys,
has anyone tried a selfie stick which works with the pixel phones?
I am unsure whether the bluetooth ones will work with the stock camera..
I dont really want to use any other camera app.
thanks
Don't use selfie sticks... Just don't..

Works fine.
Would any Bluetooth one work? That's kind of expensive because there are many cheaper ones

Out of curiosity, what's the point without a forward facing camera? Do you use a mirror?

I used it for testing and its better than the one in yahoo. Its not that I really don't have a choice cos xperia arc don't have front camera, but the arc camera is known to be of superb quality. Also its nice to be talking to someone while showing your surroundings or someone to them. That's the point of the rear camera

what camera apps are u using?
i tried using SNAP camera but it kept freezing.
i also read that it doesnt matter what camera app you use, quality of pics will be the same.

I've been using Vignette for quite awhile now and love it. Its got lots of filters and always takes great pictures and is easy to use.

4.2 android camera for me, the photosphere is really cool
Right now I'm using snap and it's fantastic, I like the way the configuration works, it's very fast. I bought camera zoom fx some months ago but I've never really used it. It's a good app though, lots of options and filters, but I guess it's just too complex for me.

I use "Camera ICS" found on the Google Market for any ROM i have without any camera app included. It's just like ICS's camera app and it works great
Coming from using HTC branded phones exclusively since Android came out, I have to say I'm a little disappointed in the Google Camera app. Yes, it takes great photos quickly and easily, and Auto HDR+ is great. However, there isn't much control. So, I'm looking for a powerful replacement app. Ideally one that could utilize HDR+.
What are your favourite third-party camera apps, and why?
My Camera Zoom app is wonderful!

Hello,
I recently bought a google pixel 2 XL. Coming from the previous model, google pixel XL.
I never had any kind of photo quality issues.
But on the Google Pixel 2 XL the front facing camera provides extremely bad quality photos.
Before the photo is actually taken it looks decent, but when the photo has been made it just blurs the photo, you can clearly see pixels on the photo and everything gets greyish.
Im running android 8.1
I enabled camera hal hdr+ in developer options.
Also tried a previous version of snapchat but that didnt provide me any difference.
Anyone else experiencing this and knows how to fix this?
Could anyone confirm having this issue too? doesnt matter if this is for Snapchat or any other kind of app with picture taking features.
Google Support isnt taking me seriously cuz noone else has reported this issue before.
Pretty poor on the Pixel 2. Instagram looks fine.

Dude yeah, it's REALLY bad. Like awful.
Snapchat needs to update their app to use updated hdr api like Instagram

Im wondering if this is the issue on the app or the phone it self or android...
Because im having this kind of quality on more apps. Google Support always end up leading me to the app developers
Hi. I think it's no secret that the Find x2 pro front camera is just bad. It struggles to focus in most light conditions, rarely takes decent photos. Tried gcam, still not satisfied.
If anyone is using any fix for selfies like a 3rd party app aur Gcam config, kindly share it. Thanks.
Order a new camera and put it in it

People take too many selfies anyway, we should get away from that.

Seriously, who cares about the front camera? That's why they are at the back of any list, ?
