Hi,
I'm not sure whether it's the wright place to write such questions, bu I've got a problem with my Samsung Galaxy S2. I woke up in the morning and realised my phone is shutted down. I couldn't start it. I changed the battery but it didn't help. When I plugged it to my computer no files were shown but in device manager appeared SBC S5PC210 position. Can I do sth to make my phone alive again? Thanks for every answers!

Hello,
I have a big problem. Have a few weeks ago rooted my Samsung Galaxy with
"One Click Lag Fix" and "z4root" for the file system "ext2"
Yesterday I put my phone to the PC and gravel immediately make a firmware update to JPM7 (I think to know.)
Now my phone will not boot. Or it starts already have, but only up to a glowing "S". Then it vibrated repeatedly at irregular intervals. That was it
Have been out of battery, battery clean. A few hours leave. The three-button trick tried, but nothing works. If I turn it on the PC to plug in, it will be charged only similar but not as a mass storage device detected.
Is there hope for me?
Thanks before.
Ok this is kinda silly, but it happened.
I was charging my Samsung Galaxy S3 GT something (UK version) via the chargeable USB port on my Samsung n150 notepad with the laptop switched off. During this time I was playing N.O.V.A 3 on my Galaxy S3.
As I was playing I switched the laptop on. As the phone was already charging via the USB I didnt think there would be a probably. But when Windows booted to my log in screen, the phone froze and switched off. Now my Galaxy will not switch on. I can only get it to charge and thats all.
Please help!!

Wait so you have the international version? Shouldn't you post this in that forum? This is Verizon.

Agreed and that is strange how that worked op. Never heard of anything like that. Tried a battery pull I assume?
Sent from a strange blue box hurtling through time and space.
Need more info first. Can you get into DL mode? Recovery? The only thing I could think of would be a power surge when you turned the laptop on caused the phone to fail (highly unliklely).
While browsing through our list of threads reported as 'Newsworthy' for the XDA Portal, I just came across this one. I wonder whose big idea was to report it as newsworthy. Whoever that was needs a healthy dose of common sense.
PS: Mods, can you please move it to the appropriate forum i.e. the one for the international version?
Happened to a Verizon GS3
My Verizon GS3 was turned completely unresponsive (absolutely dead), with no boot of any sort after I unplugged and then plugged in a USB DAC (Fiio E7). I had been using the E7 for several days but today connecting it to the GS3 through USB To Go killed it.
I have read other instances of the same phenomenon.
Hey everyone, after going through a number of posts here on XDA

I haven't found what I am looking for yet. I kinda have the same problem like these guys on the posts above. I got my phone water damaged a while back and since then my phone whenever on charge gives me a message like "charging paused. Battery temperature too high or too low". I have been trying to fix this problem for a while but I can't seem to find any reasonable solution. Like I understand that this could be a hardware problem and I can't do much about it if it is but I still have to try different options before I pay Samsung to fix it.
Like what I am trying to achieve is that I would like to somehow root the tab and upgrade it using just the recovery system mode. I somehow believe that if I do that this problem will miraculously vanish . The galaxy tab that I own is this one here http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...ls_o06_s00_i00. I never rooted the tab before this problem and I am sure I never upgraded it either. So all I am left with now is a tab that turns on only for few seconds and then switches off. Even when it is on the charge the tab switches off after giving me the message "charging paused. blah blah blah". The only time it stays on forever is when the phone is on the charge (AC and not usb PC) and on Android System Recovery <3e>.
There is no possible way of starting the tab and using the android system as the message pops up just before the loading up and switches the phone off immediately. If someone can guide on how to root and upgrade my tab through using my sd card or doing it in recovery mode, then I promise to buy a couple of pints (money will be sent via paypal) or else the money goes to Samsung and ruins the whole joy of fixing my tab with yourr help. Cheers
Can someone please help me wth this?

please help guys
First thing I'd do... Make sure you have the right Samsung drivers on the PC. The driver in use may work but be generic or old.
If you can find a discussion about setting up ADB for use with your phone there's likely to be a link to the actual Samsung drivers...

Hello, i recently turned on my galaxy s7 to find something very strange. It turns on when i plug it in but strait away shows the samsung galaxy s7 logo. Then, it suddenly shows the installing update screen for about 3 seconds the reboots, and then it does the same thing. I tried to get into recover mode but it says somethung about android files missing. I have never flashed or tampered with the phone, what is happening? Why does my windows 10 pc say "USB device malfunctioned"? Please help

Your battery is probably dying. Phones do weird things when it happens.

in other words, you didn't use the phone for 4 months, meaning the battery likely would've been completely flattened.
it's worth leaving it switched off and charging for a long time, overnight at least. use the official charger and charging cable too if you can. then see what it does.
Hi, is phone recognized when in Download mode ?
