How to enable LTE for Verizon M8 in india

Hi friends,
I recently purchased a VZW HTC one m8 from US and returned to India , now as per the specs I can see it's LTE
capable but what I wanted to clarify is it possible to use LTE in India and how can it be done?
Do I need to flash the RUU for Asia to enable the LTE bands or is it possible to enable without flashing any RUU itself,I am stock 4.4.4 rooted , s-off and unlocked.
Thanks for any suggestions !

Which international variant of Note Edge will work with AT&T LTE/4G

Hi, I would like to buy an unlocked (carrier/region) Note Edge. Can some one suggest the variant I should buy that will work with AT&T 4g/LTE bands in USA.
SM-N915F
SM-N915G
SM-N915T
Etc?
I don't think that is possible, as each countries have different band. That's why most international/factory unlocked phones don't have 4g/Lte capability. 3g and some lte is the most you are going to get with an international SM-N915F
Best bet would be to buy out an Att phone, and request them to unlock it so you have the 4g/Lte in the states.
I believe its a 30day period or so when the account is open before they give you the code. I know t-mobile policy is 3-4 weeks.

go with the 915T (tmobile)
tmobile edge is the only one that has an unlocked bootloader (you can flash any rom, etc that is made for the EDGE)
the ATT, Verison, Sprint, etc are bootloader locked, and you cant unlock them as far as i know
Tmobile one, once its unlocked, thats it,, a world of possibilities in your hands.
Thanks. But why not SM-N915F the european or SM-N915G Asian version? are you saying those are also boot loader locked?

I am an att customer currently in Kuwait and I purchased the 915F because the LTE does crossover to them. I looked at the LTE bands and 2 out of 3 of them are the same. You just need to ensure you put the correct apn in.
I hope this helps.
The Note edge 915G will work with ATT LTE/4G
I have that model on Tmobile 4G LTE and it works fine. Since the update they took out the Lte icon and replaced it with 4G. But when you check the status menu it says LTE connection Type.
Is there a root for the Verizon note edge? If there isnt ...could I use a different model number with Verizon, and if so which one could I use. I would like to be able to root and bootloader unlock. Thanks

The only root for Verizon Note Edge is with the developer edition. And no you can not use any other Note Edge variant on Verizon.
Sent from my SM-N915V D/E using XDA Free mobile app

to get lollipop, you can use either. Not sure if the TMO sim would work with the ATT phone. But you wont be able unlock the ATT phone.

To get the AT&T lollipop update on a tmobile phone you will need to use Kies or Odin 3 to flash it as it won't recognize the tmobile Sim when attempting to look up AT&T servers for the update.

LS996 will this work on T-Mobile?

Hi I am looking to buy the sprint version of the flex 2 and wanted to make sure if it could be rooted and band 12 be enabled. Was anybody able to apply the 5.1.1 update and able to root after that. I would appreciate for any links that could direct me. Thanks for any help.

Anyone know how to GSM Unlockl the 'Trackfone/Straighttalk SM-S906L version of this?

Hello,
does anyone know the easiest way to GSM unlock the Trackfone/Straighttalk version of this Verizon S6?
This version is called the SM-S906L . Apparently it is identical to the Verizon version except running a different rom for CDMA.
Could I just root it, install TWRP and install a Verizon rom on it.........so it would be GSM unlocked?
Thanks for any info.

I wont get into the method their are many guides on carrier switching firmwares. But yes you could flash T mobiles firmware of equal bootloader To have Tmobiles apps.
I dont know about Verizons model They had mentioned that they where going to start Sim locking phones,As a precautionary security against theft Yea
But make sure your Device is sim unlocked first as flashing carrier firmware will not unlock
