I have bought a UK version of Google Pixel, and I suppose it use same frequences in all the UE (I use it in France actually). But I go living in Quebec soon, so somebody can help me to know about the compatibility UE Google Pixel in North America ?

I've been using HOX till this date and happy with it. My friends are coming from USA to Netherlands in another 4 weeks, so I've planned to upgrade my HOX to N5, when I've checked the price in Google play store USA, I saw it for just $400 for 32 gb model. It says the product is Unlocked, but when i was checking the sites for any compatibility issues when used in Europe (Netherlands), there has not been a clear answers given.
So, I'm sorry If my question sounded Dumb...kindly answer my question...

I believe the google play store sells the unlocked model of nexus 5...also i believe it does support GSM Triband and I'm 95% confident that N5 bought in google play USA will work in Netherlands...but i believe N5 XDA users can confirm it...

i guess he will bring the D820 (North America model): GSM and 3G will work in Europe normally but not LTE(4G) because most of 4G operators in Europe use Band 3 (1800 MHZ) or 7 (2600 MHZ) or 20 (800 MHZ) and D820 does not support these bands as LTE (any way check on what band your operator provide the LTE) see here for band list http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LTE_networks
if he can find the D821 version, then you will be able to use 4G in Europe for sure.

Have been searching the whole day, but is there any difference in supported LTE bands between the US and Europe model? I haven't found any differences... Seems there is only one unlocked model? (Differences aside from RAM).
Visiting New York in January, this looks like the ideal phone for my girlfriend… Hope to bring one home for her.

The only international LTE bands that the unlocked US model supports are 3 and 7. Okay for occasional roaming in Europe but not enough in my opinion if you were going to use it there all the time.
That is because of soft or hardware? I bought US modell because of 3/32 GB, hoped there is no real difference....

The only unlocked Pixel version you can buy at the moment is from google store online

There is no "international version", it's the same phone across the globe with the same baseband support.
Is it? Because As far as i can see the international version doesn't support LTE band 40, which Indian version does support.

Ah, I didn't realise the US version had no Band 40 support.
In that case no, there's no way to buy the RoW version off Google in the US, and I doubt any major retailers would import it. You're best looking at eBay or a specialist importer I reckon.

Yeah, they support that, but for US, they are selling a version without band 40 support, whereas for some other regions, they are selling with band 40 support. This is what the customer service people told me.

I have the opportunity to buy Pixel 4 from Australia (good price). I live in the USA. I have a USA Sim Card using Google Fi network.

Think I know but want some experts to weigh in !!
Concerns:
1) Will it work on Google Fi's USA network -- i.e.,
work on CDMA and GSM and over the other US
carriers? 4g sould be fine, yes? But what about 3g?
2) Will I receive USA-based Google updates, if I have a USA Sim Card yet phone is from Australia or is something there different that prevents this (e.g., some hardware or software prevents US-based Google updates).

I bought refurbished pixel 3a on ali, but they send me japan version and I im in europe, and I realized that I have issue with LTE, based on wiki some LTE channels missing on JPN version.
Would be possible to flash EU radio firmware or device HW is different ?
