Universal Switch - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions & Answers

Hi all.
This Universal Switch thing is driving me crazy. It's blocking me from doing anything in Accessibility. What's worse is that I can't even find the app/process/location to turn this thing off. Where is it located on my device? Also, I have installed the Echoe ROM. Is it possible that it was removed from this ROM and now I have to install it just to turn it off? It didn't even have Samsung TTS or Google TTS, but I installed both only to disable them because I read those as a fix for my issue in other threads. Has not worked for me though.

Did you find a solution to this problem as I am experiencing the same issue? I am also running echoe rom

Forward lookup

Hi all. I recently updated the software to 38R and noticed that forward lookup no longer works on the dialer. I've got the setting ticked and the lookup provider is still Google but nothing works.
Is anyone else having this problem?
I have the same issue. I changed the provider but still it won't lookup nearby business phone numbers. Even the reverse lookup is not performing
I hope it gets patched.
Sorry for the bump but has anyone found a way to solve this? It doesn't work with the CM12 Dialer App either and I really miss this functionality from the Stock Google Dialer found on my Nexus 5. I've tried a lot of different ways to get the Google Dialer 2.0 APK working on CM12 including trying to deodex the apk and then building a version of CM12 with odexing enabled and everything just resulted in the dialer force closing, so I'm at a loss here.
EDIT: Well... I did all of that... just to find out my issue with Forward Lookup was that somehow my location services managed to turn itself off. Turned it on and it works now. I feel like a fool but I'll leave this here in case anyone else is having similar troubles.

Bluetooth keeps enabling

Hi!
Im on exynos version of S7 and i have a little problem.
On apeq stock firmware (i didnt noticed this before), when locking device / turning off screen, phone is activating Bluetooth on its own! Ive noticed Bluetooth icon disappearing moments after turning screen on. There is battery drain from Bluetooth sharing (or someting simmilar, i have non-english version of android set).
Bluetooth is disabled in options and Bluetooth scanning is turned off. I do not use any kind of Bluetooth hardware /dongles.
Is this a common bug?
I haven't seen or heard of this before, but just thinking about it...Do you have any location based apps running that night trigger your bluetooth like IFTTT or My Places?
No, i've got no such things besides standard google apps. No new apps since last rom update.
Well, i think i have found a guilty app.
I tried factory reset, then i have downgraded to APC8 firmware and still, after app installation bluetooth started to show up.
By trial & error method i started to delete apps one by one and found out that SwiftKey was the "bad apple". Unfortunately for me - it's my favorite keyboard...
Well, after uninstalling and replacing it with google keyboard all is fine for now.

Vibrate switch not working?

Setting the phone to vibrate from the switch still allows notifications and ringtones to play through. Ive checked every setting I can find and haven't found a solution. Is anyone else having this issue? Silent mode seems to work as intended. I hope there is something ive over looked., also tried search and couldnt find anything.
Im using the tmo branded version on latest software update for them.

Keyboard not working after disconnecting from Android Auto

Did anyone experience such an issue? After disconnecting the phone from android auto the keyboard never shows up again for any input filed until the phone is rebooted.
I've tried changing the keyboard to another one, closing apps, cleaning memory... Nothing helps... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Mine doesn't have that issue. Just wondering if you have any system apps disabled that might be causing your issue?
still haven't been able to use keyboard on your device??
If you can, reproduce the issue again... you can try to report the issue to Samsung Members app and see if Samsung is able to figure out what went wrong. If it's still not working, then I suppose you can chat with a tech on samsung website, see how you can get some technical help
Thanks guys! I suspect it's because of the Galaxy Max Hz and its Doze setting.
After I've disabled, it seems to be working fine.

Hi - I have this exact same issue on my Note 10+. More often then not when I unplug my phone from Android Auto in the car, the normal keyboard stops working. It works fine when I restart the phone. I don't think I have "Galaxy Max Hz" on my phone, but were any other Doze setting you disabled to get this to work normally?
