B63M bricked?

Hi There,
Please forgive me I am a complete novice when it comes to Android phone.
I have a chinese Dual sim phone that I have routed with superoneclick. I have put clockworks recovery on it with rom manager as I was trying to create a copy of the ROM. I also installed Droid X Recovery Bootstrap, however in droid x I pressed the fix permission option and the phone started changing permissions everywhere and now my phone wont start. It keeps booting up in a loop and I cannot get to the recovery to wipe the memory and start again
What SOC does the device use?
If its Allwinner based, you could boot from mmc or reflash with livesuit.
21ss, thank you for the reply.
Sorry my friend, I have no idea what you mean by What SOC does the device use?
You say that you can boot from the mmc slot, please tell how and with what software.
Never heard of livesuit.
I have attached a word document in rar of the ebay item that I purchest.
Any help that you can give me would be very much appreciated.
At the moment I have a paper weight.
Regards chunky2.

Hey guys the good thing about this phone is that you cant brick it, it cant be hard bricked easily... but I suggest you go to this discussion and find possible solutions, I had same issue and even tho I never managed to fully sort the issue, its because of my laziness... I could if I wanted, I managed to get it to a position I can use it and I have been using it like so for months now... here is the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1618775&page=3

Did you make a full nandroid back up?
If yes you can restore it using cwm or twrp.
If no you may try using One Touch Upgrade to restore your phone to its original state

If you installed a custom rom and did a hard reset that means your rom is no longer installed as it has been wipe, proceed to install a new custom rom should fix it.
Best if you get help from your device sub forum and read thoroughly the guides there.

Try to search for stock rom for your device and sp flash tool.
If you are not aware on this, the best way ti do is to bring your phone in service center.

[Q] Touchscreen does not work at all after flashing wrong ROM

Hello everyone.
I have an Alcatel One Touch 908F running Android 2.2.2 that I chose to root and install a 2.3 ROM since no official update was released and it had a lot of advantages that I really need. I successfully rooted it with VROOT, install a CWM 5.0.2.7 recovery and flashed two custom ROMs based on 2.2.2 (the one for Alcatel One Touch 908S WIND, and the one for Alcatel One Touch 908Q T-Mobile) just for testing.
Both successfully worked with no problems at all (except the fact that Back, Home and Menu changed their places but it was fixed by flashing a tool that I found on this forum - Thank you so much, developers!) so I wanted to flash a 2.3 ROM, but I didn't realize that it wasn't approprite (It was only for Alcatel One Touch Telenor, and the worst: it wasn't told in the instructions!). I knew it when, once my phone booted for the 1st time, it showed the "Telenor" logo reversed on top, and white lines at the bottom of the screen. So I reverted back to my stock ROM using a backup made with CWM.
I got the stock ROM again. Only now, neither the touchscreen nor the lighting Home, Menu and Back keys are working! Hitting the screen acts like hitting the Menu button!
I tried many ROMs, and it didn't work. Well, the good thing is that I still have root access, USB debugging enabled and CWM 5.0.2.8 recovery.
I'm really desperate. My phone is out of warranty. Is my phone really as useful as a brick, now? I hope it isn't. Can you help me, please? I urgently need my phone to work again because I can't afford to buy a new one or repair it! Is there any software that can bring my only smartphone back to life? Shall I switch to TWRP recovery? Which ROM shall I flash?
Thank you so much in advance for your help!
UP... (Since there was no reply for so long...)
I see, it is not a popular model
I found out that the problem can be solved by flashing the stock kernel which contains the original touchscreen drivers needed to make it work again, but I couldn't find the file. Can anyone upload it for me, please? If this is not the right way,
Does anyone have another, please? Thank you!

Flash everything ( including ROM , boot.img etc. ) created for your device . It will solve the problem .
As a warning, don't flash other device's firmware , until you became a porter or using an Android one :sly:
Hope I helped !

[Q] Bricked Alcatel C1 4015t AT&T

Bought it yesterday, rooted it using the same method as most 4015 owners did [Kingo Root] and everything was fine until it suddenly wouldn't pick up my network. Figured- "Hey, now is a nice time to try a custom rom!" So I was stupid enough to install a recovery for the 4015, which is apparently a bit different kernel wise.
So.. yeah. Bricked.
Only method I've found other users talking about hasn't worked, which is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58337881&postcount=4 Doesn't detect it. So.. I guess I'm screwed, unless there is something I don't know about.

What do you mean by " Doesn't detect it" ??
Doesn't the software detect your phone???
Maybe try installing your phone's drivers (Google it) on computer and try the software

AT&T encrypts the bootloader to prevent any modding. As soon as you flash something, you're screwed. Permanently.

Welp. Last AT&T phone I'm buying.
I'll quote one of the commenters on the first article-
"To ensure a consistent experience on my wireless device, we do not support AT&T."
Found root method
hey guys unfortunately I am stuck with this stupid phone. luckily i found the bet and probably the only way to root this phone. i used KingRoot this app roots most phones and tablets believe me ive rotted a couple chinese tablets a verizon galaxy s4, att galaxy s3 mini and the alcatel 4015t (att model). now only if someone makes a couple roms for this model because the other roms (4015a,d) work but it wont show my service . i would like to be apart of this even tho im a total noob . but ya plz inform me if you are going to make any roms for this phone it woul be exciting. and btw, you can use the 4015a custom recovery to flash roms so no need to make a new custom recoverery unless you encounter problems with the ones already made

I have the same problem, the root was successful , and after flashing CWM from Rashrt Tool on a 4015T Alcatel this is bricked .
Is there any solution?
may not flash the rom official AT & T using Sp FlashTool or any way to unlock the bootloader or making a modification to Mobile Upgrade S to install the rom alcatel 4015T because it does not recognize ?

Mobile Upgrade Q is complete GARBAGE! Stuck on Eluga Switch software. Need help!

I have been attempting to get Mobile Upgrade Q working all day and have had no success because of one stupid little error message...
There is no greater software version available to upgrade your phone, actual version of your phone is the latest.
I can already tell you this isn't true.
To make a long story short, I was aiming to unlock the bootloader on my Idol 3, downgraded to Lollipop via Eluga Switch restore software, installed TWRP, rooted, then attempted to flash Lineage OS 14.1 to the device. It refused to boot, no matter what I did...
Deciding that I wanted to go back to stock firmware, I installed Mobile Upgrade Q 5.1.8, opened the program, and tried to start the upgrade process. However, I was instead greeted with the error I mentioned above, how my device was allegedly already on latest software.
- I've tried using other versions of Mobile Upgrade Q with no success.
- I've tried reinstalling the Alcatel drivers via. the one I copied from my phone to the computer, same result.
- I've tried loading it from the bootloader, and with the device powered off and charging, both of which failed.
- Yes, I've tried wiping data/cache, and even system. I also tried Panasonic Eluga Switch again, which succeeded, but again, I don't want my phone to be branded under Panasonic, and I do want the Marshmallow software...
- I've tried restarts, multiple different drivers, and even relocking the bootloader, all of which failed...
Does anyone know how I can get the Upgrade software to work? I've tried everything I could on my side, and nothing seems to succeed...
Thanks in advance...
Your only chance is to use QFIL and flash stock ROM. You need to google and try to find a suitable ROM. May i suggest 4pda.ru website. It's russian but google translate does well enough. It has a lot of useful information for both variants, 4.7 or 5.5 version . Idol 3 is the worse when it comes to rooting, flashing etc. Don't mess with it. You can easily ruin it for good.

Do you know where I can find the stock firmware file? I couldn't navigate through 4PDA that well due to the Russian interface, and Google Translate did little to no help.
Thanks

Here you go. Use google translate for more details.
If your model is 5.5 you can find it in this forum.

Hi guys! I have alcatel software that restores your phone back to stock similar to mobile upgrade q. It wipes everything back to factory rom. Just let me know if you want the link and instructions on how to use it because it can get a bit complicated.

Hello @chewyboy0, you mean flashing latest stock ROM or just wipe partitions?
Hi, the software does wipe and then it flashes the latest stock rom, I do not have the phone currently but I can update on the procedure once I get the device since I have upgraded to a Samsung galaxy note 5 and I gave the old idol 3 to a friend

Hi all! Sorry for the late delay but I have not had the idol and still do not have it unfortunately. I will upload the software to google drive but be mindful that it does require a password to actually get into the program as I assume that it is used in Alcatel's factory to install the software update to the device.

Hiya! I have a guide here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/idol-3/general/guide-restore-idol-3-to-factory-rom-t3769739
I'm not sure if it will work with the Idol 4 but if it does not have the model number listed in the program you might want to try updating it using the dialog box that pops up at startup. Before updating the program, try seeing if it has your idol 4's model number listed and then if it doesn't close out of the program, reopen it, then update it.
Hope all goes well,
Jason
