Hello! Does anyone have any experiences with the few available options for a privacy screen protector? I'm looking for a 4-way, if possible. I ended up purchasing a tempered glass privacy shield from HYAIZLZ below.

It is marginally acceptable. Good fit and easy to apply, however it is only a 2-way privacy screen and the angle needed for it to be effective in blocking out the screen is rather extreme.

been trying to look for a privacy screen protector for my desire (one that turns black when looking from the side), but no luck.. anyone?
Ebay has a few apparently. Cant post a link here yet.
One of them has a youtube video under it showing the privacy thing working on a Touch HD, should work on the Desire as well.
Look at Vikuiti screen protectors
Google is your friend
hmmm.. i can't seem to find anything "privacy".. all are ultra clear..
Here is the link to the Vikuiti privacy screen http://www.protectionfilms24.com/article/vikuiti-mobile-privacy-film-htc-desire-30980.html
I am using this one. My verdict is as a privacy screen it works very good, dark from side and quite clear from front, but this is not resistance for scratch. It will protect your screen from scratches but not the protector itself.
What you can also do is, use this one first and on top of it apply another ultra clear screen protector.
Perfect! I'll give it ago! Thank you very much!
I have just purchased a privacy screen for my laptop and noticed that the same protectors from the same retailer are much cheaper from Amazon then the retailer's own website (protectionfilms24.com) - £38 compared with £52, both with free delivery. I don't know if the same scale of savings apply to mobile protectors, but it would be worth looking.
I'm looking to get a screen protector, but was wondering if they reduce the responsiveness of the touchscreen. Please state your experiences about with them.
Also how effective are the anti-glare screen protectors in broad daylight?
Thanks!

hi,
using a screen protector does not have a really big effect regarding the screens responsiveness. for me it just makes the screen less slippery. for the anti-glare it does not really give that much big of a difference unlike when you are using a matte finish or anti fingerprint/oil type. so it is up to you what type of screen protector you want, if you want reduced smudges, go for matte finish, if you want to retain your screens vibrant colors, go for clear.
I believe a 3M privacy screen guard is not available for the A2 but is there any other equally quality comparable brand with the privacy feature available? Details please. I have ordered a Skinomi for 9 bucks and have kept the installation on hold as I am now concerned on this moisture business (did see their youtube video though)
i would recommend the clarivue screen protector. its the one i have and its amazing. 4 way privacy too!
So I had the 3M Privacy Screen Protector on my Galaxy S3 (http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/...9Jgs_J7X3WKF31C_ZSHZGSXVCT_GPD0K8BC31gv)&rt=d). The privacy feature is awesome but it really messes up the look of the screen and considering how great the S4 screen is, I figured I'd give up the privacy feature when I upgrade my phone.
So here's my problem. I LOVE the feel of the 3M Privacy protector. Even more than the feel of the screen naked. It's smooth, it doesn't ever get sticky or grabby; it's just great. Does anyone know of a good alternative screen protector that has the same feel as the 3M Privacy ones? Preferably that has a Galaxy S4 version?
Thanks in advance for any feedback.
TechMatte amFilm Premium Screen Protector for Galaxy S4 Anti-Glare/Anti-Fingerprint
Price: $5.95
My rating: 6/10

Features:
-Anti-Glare
-Anti-Fingerprint
I used this screen protector for about a week and a half. I liked how the glare was reduced, but the it degraded the screen quality. The screen had a grainy look, especially when looking at lighter colored things on your phone. It comes with 3 screen protectors so you don’t have to worry about messing up when installing it and also a application card and cleaning cloth. It has nice packaging and information on the back of the contents, application, and application tips to make your life easier when installing the screen protector. The only thing that bothered me was the grainy look the screen protector gave. The grainy look is common for anti-glare/anti-fingerprint screen protectors and this was the first one I ever used so I wasn’t used it and didn’t get used to it.
Pros:
-Smooth finish
-No fingerprints
-Glare reduced a lot
-Affordable
-3 pack
-Easy installation
-Great customer service
-LIFETIME REPLACEMENT WARRANTY
Cons:
-Degrades screen quality (common with all of these types of screen protectors)
-Grainy look (also common, and I was not used to, plus my ocd)
I recommend this screen protector to someone who does not have a problem with the degradation of the screen and who wants an affordable screen protector, and if anti-glare/anti-fingerprint is really important to you. If you do not like this because of the degrading of the screen you can also check out the clear version of the screen protector.
I buy my screen protectors from the pound shop (uk shop)
made by case mate there pretty decent
