Hii
i am someone who has ideas but is looking for someone with adequate experience in building ios apps to help me transform my idea into an application, i had multiple ideas and when i searched google, tried to find people to help me in my country, i found out that the cost if way high for a simple app, maybe because where i live is not a place for independent developers.
so some of my friends suggested that countries like india for example have many developers who may be willing to work with you with an affordable pricing, as i searched over the internet i found couple of companies that i already contacted.
the reason i came here is to find independent people, not companies, and i was wondering if anyone can help me or guide me through knowing if its possible to find independent people here or somewhere else.
thanks in advance :good:

Have you tried freelancer?
You might want to ask that question on iPhone-Developers. That site used to be part of xda in the past...

I cannot believe you payed for that, because even more you have to pay for the additional software. How much did you pay? And WTF were you thinking?

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....
Threre are tons of software like this here on XDA.....
Next time SEARCH!
This is what happens to people like you, who never search......
Yes I am noob, new to these sites.Thank you to the guys who were actually helpfull with their posts, shabicht inpaticular thank you for the link. With my inexperiance I was unsure of where to appropriatly search for the right info. I figured that being as how I discovered the link on THIS SITE in the first place that I'd start by looking for help on THIS SITE. However all that I received were and very un-helpfull replys, there must be a lot of bored people out there with nothing better to do then to insult someone with little experiance in this area looking for some help.
I only paid $11 for the theme, addmitadly after receiving some actuall helpfull advice from others I did discover that there are better ways to improve my device.
I'm not sure how this site usually works, the site was recomended to me. I'm disapointed to see the amount of rude remarks I received when simply looking for a helping hand.
Hi, I am looking to develop windows mobile apps for my HTC HD2 and I was wondering if there is a free online course or some places that I can learn everything I need to know to start developing ASAP, I hope to become good at this and I will be posting on the forums frequently but can someone help me out? It would be greatly appreciated if you could give me some links.

ASAP? you could also begin with Visual Basic. thats Easy to learn and quite powerful.
hey yo techburrow i am really new to smartphones and apps. i got my hd2 less than a month ago...but i feel the same way...it feels like it's really underground to learn and teach this stuff. i wish i new someone to teach me some of it...but i have learned more on this topic at this site in a week than anywhere else. it is truly wonderful. have you tried wikipedia for more info? i wish this site had a "xda term dictionary". i'm having trouble just figuring out what words mean...but maybe they do and i haven't found it yet. good luck...your first app should be for people llike you who want to know how to build there own apps and don't know how. "myappbuilder" or something...peace.
Start here :

The link at the bottom takes you to a pile of other stuff.
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Complete list of Development links and resources
P.S. Don't expect to learn all this stuff overnight, it's a long hard slog to become any good at it. Even then you'll still find room for improvement.
Good luck and don't give up.
Join some good school....
I am in Greece and peel is not working with full specs. Can you suggest any other program for using my tablet as a remote with multiple tv's. i have 2 different tv's. (Samsung & LG)
this isn't any help to you, but i am also wondering this. Ha ha don't look at other country's with envy because that app is pretty terrible which is why I wonder if there are any alternatives.
If either of you had searched you would have found plenty of info in this very forum about the IR blaster on the tab2.
Shame on both of you.

Thanks for posting such a rude comment that didn't help either of us find an alternative application.
Shame on you for being so unhelpful.

shame on you for not bothering to spend a little effort and search for your answer. Asking others to do the simple leg work you could have done. THIS is why you get a snippy reply because in the time it took you to post and also reply back to a user you could have googled and xda searched.
i spent 10seconds and searched "ir remote app"
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1647605&highlight=ir+remote+app&page=2
there's your answer, now learn from this moment and understand not everyone in the world will go and get things for you, sometimes you have to do things for yourself.
We were all new at one point in time and XDA is huge and sometimes very difficult to navigate. A little guidance can go a long way in terms of respect and gratitude, especially from Senior Members.
guys, why so sensitive... let's be honest, it was an easy find. I'm a newbie too, and the first thing I found when I got my Tab 2, was Touchsquid. The Search feature is REALLY easy to access. And you can even search per-forum right away... now, nevermind the argument, click on that thread they gave you, it has lots of information about Touchsquid. Which is, by the way, a really cool app. A little unpolished in terms of interface and layout, but has a LOT of functions, compatibility, etc.
it's listing as $49 bucks here...seriously...$49 for a andriod app to use a ir sensor on our device.....hey, I'm not knocking them selling it for that, they did the work obviously...but why aren;t more developers doing it, if they can get that for it? People work their butts off making apps for like $1-$3/buy

I never heard about them either, but I'm new in the AD world... I'm trying to take a look at their web reputation and I found something encouraging but I'm not really sure about them...
Cyberbounty is NOT a reliable company
No Cyberbounty is not a reliable company, they have a tainted reputation in the market and many have their payment pending with them. I'm not posting any links here, as might be against the forum rules, so you can check it in the Google itself, just search for the company name and go through the few links in the page 1.
Hello all,
I am not really any kind of coder or developer myself. However, I am looking for someone who is -- maybe someone new to the game, to help me with an app I'd like to have on my phone (HTC Thunderbolt).
It's basically a time-card app, pretty simple. There are numerous of these out there, but I'd like to have one specifically geared towards my industry. There are already a couple that exist for the iPhone, but none that I can find for Android. Below are examples of what I'm talking about:
http://www.crewtimecard.com/
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/wrap-time-time-card-for-film/id335510869?mt=8
I'd like to make a better one, and one for Android. Really, it would be just for my personal use, but I'm sure many others would be interested as well. Perhaps if someone out there is a developer as a hobby, looking for more practice, etc., this might suit that person. I'd love to talk about collaborating on such a project.
Thanks!
Not to be rude, but I'd be surprised if anyone bites on your offer. Developing and testing apps properly takes a significant amount of time and dedication, and the examples you gave indicate that the app you're looking for could be quite complicated. Unless you come across a developer that happens to need the same thing, or that you are willing to pay, you may be SOL.
Of course, this sounds like the perfect opportunity to learn how to program! There are plenty of great websites out there that will walk you through the entire process form scratch. Good Luck!

Not really.
These 2 site can help you from scratch.
http://www.codeacademy.com
www.code.org
Google has their own site to teach people.

Sounds like you might need to learn several languages to accomplish your goal. Not sure of one particular one to meet your goal.
