Hi!
There is any way to use the internal storage decrypted? I want to make backups and flash zips from internal but I can't read it from twrp while internal storage is encrypted...
Thanks!!

Hello, same issue here, it's encrypted even when I browse files on the stock file explorer and when connecting my phone through USB.
How do I disable encryption? Can't copy my TitaniumBackup folder for restoration

try this
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/how-to/guide-how-to-root-mate-9-decrypt-data-t3569986
I did follow that guide, only I "wiped data" instead of "formatting data"
I re-flashed a second time and and the keyboard is back, now I've got to find why Titanium Backups hangs at 0% when restoring.

Hi guys!
I have a 16GB Moto G version, model XT1033 (dual SIM). I've installed some ROMs to test, and I did a nandroid backup to restore the previous stock system.
However, since I restored, some problems have occurred. The internal sdcard (or internal memory) mount, I can modify without problems in ES File Explorer and from computer. But most apps can't write, some, in addiction, cannot see the internal sdcard (eg. camera ICS).
Some screenshots can ilustrate the problem:

}
(in english: Insert a SD card before use the camera)

I suppose this problem is some with mountpoints (Moto G mounts sdcard in two modes at the same time, one is legacy). I dont find fstab or another config file to check this.
What could be done to solve this problem?
Thanks! And sorry my bad english
Hello,
after I installed the stock rom, some applications stopped to run, and when I connect it to the computer (With USB Debugging and MTP) it's just showing me a "Internal memory" and I cant copy anything...
I installed the stock rom with this guide :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2513701
I tried method 2, because method 1 didnt work for me.
I cant install roms, copy file to the internal memory, download files...
Here is a photo :

The used space is about 8.08GB and free space is about 4.48GB. But then in this screenshot the size of whole SDCARD folder is just 6.36GB.
So, what's using the extra 1.4 GB and where is it residing?
Extra notes:
1. Recently I had to factory reset my phone and lost everything on it, and after I added back my files from laptop the space reported was correct. No ghost usage.
2. The thumbnails files in DCIM folder got huge and I deleted them to recover nearly 1.5GB, but I'm not sure if that change actually shows up.
Please help with any insight. Also, does your SDCARD folder and storage usage show such differences?
Internal storage isn't just /sdcard. Its shared with /data so /data/app, /data/data is included.

That is interesting to know. Thank you for the quick reply and link to relevant information - I'll go through it.
Good day to you
Hi All,
After update from lollipop to marshmallow I noticed huge drop in capacity of my internal memory.
Where should have been 16Gb minus system files I get only 3.8Gb.
Any thought appreciated.
Thank you

Is there any way to have internal memory formatted similar to sd card? Where it is possible to restore original size.
Now after a few apps I get the error with insufficient memory
Thank you

May be you should revert back to lollipop.
Or choose external SD as default storage
Hello,
I Installed TWRP Version 3.5 on my Mi 10 Lite 5G mobile and when the TWRP opened, it asked me to enter my password in order to decrypt the files; which is right.
Afte that i clicked on install and installed Revenge os, the rom zip file was on the internal storage.
But unfortunately the mobile is restarting and entering to the TWRP recovery without opening the OS, also it's showing encrypted files' names in the internal storage, so I'm unable to install the rom again.
I think it should ask me to enter the password for decryption, but it's not.
Any idea guys??
Maybe if you do Format Data and reboot to recovery again it will let you install the rom again
I also have a similar situation. To avoid losing data or having to format data, flash recovery using fastboot via pc. Then find this recovery and flash the zip. I am using it and it feels good. good luck
