Actually the phone connected to PC in Qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008 mode. I tried to flash the programmer and bootloader via QPST. But It did not work. It ended with "Cookie(if present) was not received" error. Let me try the same procedure with the files you provided and tell the results.

[Q] [ROM stock] I'm searching for Alcatel OT-4033D ROM

Hi,
As the title suggests I'm looking for the original firmware of the Alcatel OT 4033D because, after I bricked mine, I can't find a working ROM for my phone (I've tried various ROM for MT6572 processor and Android 4.2.2 but I don't read the SD card and the SIM (Although setting the correct IMEI))
If someone is own this device could make me a dump? I just need the file "system.img", the others I already have.
PS: It's okay if it's not the file .Img but the zip of the partition with the files contained in /system
Thanks in advance to who answers C:

Can u tell me how did u installed CWM? I can't find the compatible image..
Or, if u want, can u upload it? So I'll do a backup and I'll upload it! TY
Edit:
I've installed CWM 5 ad I did a nandroid backup.. It's 1.6GB ( uncompressed ).. So, I'll begin to upload it 31 night (GMT+1) splitted in parts in MEGA or MediaFire.
If someone can test it is better, but it should work!

Thank you for that n1osbb2;51494733.
I also have a bricked one, it gets stuck at animation. I can boot into stock recovery.
Can someone tell me what I need to do to fix it?
Another idea is if we could change the firmware version number to something lower, then the Alacatel "Mobile Upgrade S" would be essentially forced to overwrite it. Right now it sees my phone's version as up to date and stops there.
So... Is it at all possible to alter the firware version number on the phone?
edit
n1osbb2, could you please take a backup with MTK Droid Root & Tools as well?
You can find it here under Android Software and Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hi, the backup by MTK droid tools fails everytime, I'm trying to debug the error.. If I have sucess I'll upload it.
BTW you can try another methods:
-Flash the CWM using MTK droid tools ( if you want the modified recovery, img I can upload it, or if u want MTK generates the img automatically: there is a guide on google; and then you can flash my backup without user data trought the CWM
If u want CWM make adb works, so you can do a backup of your firmware in order to can come back in the prevoiuos situation if it's needed
OR
-Using the latest version of SP flash tools, u can flash the system.img that u can find in my CWM backup. The latest version have no bugs with the generation of the scatter file, so it could work, but I'm not sure
Sorry for my bad english, I hope you understand..
Let me know if one of this methods works, thank you!

Thanks for the reply.
Is the modified recovery.img not the one included in the zip you uploaded?
Re the second option, there is no system.img inside - that's the reason I asked for a MTK Droid Root & Tools backup.
The contents of your zip are these:
Code:
.android_secure.vfat.tar
boot.img
cache.ext4.tar
recovery.img
system.ext4.tar

I confused the system.ext4.tar with the system.ext4.img
So, I have done half MTK droid backup (it stops when it give me the error, so is not thecomplete backup, but the system.img os ok..) and there is the system image file.. I can upload it 5-04 night (GMT+1) or maybe this night. I'll post the link when it's uploaded.
The firmware of the 4033D have the custpack partiotion too, adn I don't know if it's needed too, so if the flash of system.img fails I'll upload the custpack too
The recovery with CWM is here: https://www.mediafire.com/?bg4rtah9tsbhszs
EDIT: I done a full backup with MTK adn I prepared files for flash tool. I compressed it all in ~460MB archive, t should contain everything. The upload time is the same!
EDIT2 4-3-14 0051 gmt+1: I'm uploading it on Mediafire! It's a high compressed arc archive, so it can drop the pc perfomance while extracting, so have patience
With my connection it wants a lot of time, it say ~8hrs

Unfortunately the only model that can be unlocked right now is the European one and version 10z still doesn't exist (maybe a typo?)
Any chans u have the 10k unmodified boot?
Could you do a system dump of the V40? I see you did the vendor for the V40.

First of all, thank you heaps LameMonster82, you are an absolute champion!!. I was searching for hours to find a kdz file for G710EM10p and your posting was the only one I found. For some reason the "thaks" buttob isn't visible to me.. maybe because I'm a new member.
I thought I could be helpful by listing the different KDZ files which are in your google drive folder so other people can find them while searching through google like I was.
In the above link from LameMonster82 there are following KDZ files for the LM-G710EM (European) variant of the LG G7 :
G710EM10b
G710EM10f
G710EM10k
G710EM10p
For the LG V40:
V405UA10c
V405UA10l
To install the KDZ file follow the guide here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g7-thinq/how-to/guide-how-to-flash-stock-firmware-lock-t3820888
Thanks again
I am having problem downloading G710EM10p kdz file, is there perhaps an alternative download link?

Download manages to get to 1 GB and then it drastically slows down and eventually fails. Via a download manager the farthest I got was 1,5 GB: although the download manager continued to download (it downloaded ~5 GB of data), the file was only 1,5 GB.

Doesn't seem to be something from me. Maybe Google's server are acting up or youre using your phone to download it. If you're using a phone it will sometimes do that. Try downloading another file and if not find a 10p version here: https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-lmg710em-firmwares/#tab=firmwares
I managed to download it! It went fine this time, I did not change anything on my side.

Actually, I have unpacked G7's kdz and there's 4.4 GB system_b image. When I mount it, I see bunch of odex and vdex files. I can't see where are those in my phone.

Odex and vdex files? Never heard of them. The image should still have a size but filled with 0.

Is this what you're looking for

Please help me

If you find anyway to fix a G7 Power hard brick please someone let me know my model is XT1955-5 (ocean) Amazon
I just bought the phone but now I can't use it anymore I have no access to the bootloader or recovery mode.
The phone plugged into the computer shows up as Qualcomm HS-USB Loader (9008)
I along with other users with the phone on XDA have tried using a mmcblk0.img but sadly it never worked if you find some other method please let someone know on this thread or make a post about it.
Thank you have a good day.
@sd_shadow
Do you think you could try this please and then upload the file?
I believe we have the same phone model the file shouldn't be very big someone uploaded one for the G7 and it was 165MB.

The instructions you posted pull a 16gb file.
The G7 Power is a 32gb device.
I've pulled an mmcblk0.img 3 times, using the twrp method.
Not sure what happened the 1st time, the 2nd and 3rd md5 checksums matched.
I couldn't get the sd card method to work, tried several times.

I would pull it using Linux (not a virtual machine) directly to your hard drive as apposed to using twrp to pull it to an sd card

Try this
165mb file
https://mega.nz/#!uOpw3AYI!rDXW5rN9LQ4E7mWglOo-HQZY1AWG5914Jp75ijyY1Fo
edit:
some details
if you use
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0 of=/sdcard/Loader.img bs=1024 count=168960
file is saved to internal staorage
command needs to to changed
I used
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0 of=/storage/16F4-E1F2/Loader.img bs=1024 count=168960
but this will be different on every device.
I just used the stock files app to see the details of a file on the external storage to check location.
/storage/16F4-E1F2/
@sd_shadow
Thank you for doing that for me man appreciate it I think I'm just going to throw the phone in the garbage it didn't work.

Need help with OnePlus 8T rawprogram.xml & patch.xml

Currently I'm trying to unbrick my 8T, I got the device's full images along with it's prog but lack of rawprogram0.xml * patch0.xml
I'll need those two in order to use QFIL and restore my device. So if anyone by any chances have those files or know where to download it please kindly help to guide me out. Or may be some solutions on how to create those files.
Thanks in advance guys!

Thanks mate, but my situation seem worse, can't use MSM to restore since somehow, all partitions on device was deleted, that's why I need the rawprogram and patch xml to rebuild it.
Using MSM ( I tried many versions ) always leads to Device image not match ( I think it's because all the partitions are erased therefore it can't me matched with any kind of images ).

So you have a copy of those files for another phone? If so, can I have a look at them?

I had a look and there's nothing that I recognise. So, unfortunately I can't help you with this.
